This place is a NIGHTMARE!! DO NOT let your kids go here. I used to work across the street when I lived in Texas. It was much pricier than other daycares in the area but Toiya informed me this was because they had cameras in every classroom and outside allowing the parents to tune in (not true). I also felt comfortable since if anything ever happened they would have video evidence (another lie). I enrolled my son (Pre-K) there and he absolutely loved his teacher, Ms. Shae. After the first week he started having some major issues with one child in his class who was being excessively violent. I was called at some point because this child had kicked my son in the genitals. Three days later this same kid then punched my kid in the same area. When I came to pick up my son a week later I walked in to find he had a black eye, again from the same child. At this point my husband and I spoke with the director because it was too much. Toiya promised us over and over that this child was being completely removed from TLE due to his behavior issues, this never happened. I mentioned before I worked across the street previously, I actually leased apartments. When I initially signed my son up I had asked if there was some sort of referral program and Toiya told me I would get a week for every family referred. Over the 6 months there I referred 10 different families and received no free weeks. When the summer session had started Toiya called me asking for tuition and I told her I had no problem paying for it but my son would be absent the next week and I also inquired about my referrals and how I go about getting free weeks. She then waived 1/8th of that months tuition. I said fine since we had planned on moving out of state in a month and a half. The week before the 4th of July Ms. Shae went on a vacation and there was a replacement teacher, Ms. Lacy. My son started having serious issues with her and was constantly complaining that she liked to scream at the kids and threaten to rip up their work. That Thursday I finally spoke with Toiya asking her if this was a permanent change and expressed my concern with the sudden change in attitude from my son. The next day I dropped him off and that afternoon I came in to pick him up and he informed me Lacy actually hit him in the back. I came into Toiyas office with one of the owners there and demanded answers as to why my son was being assaulted at his school. That Monday we told Toiya we wanted to see the video from that day. That is when she told me that the cameras only live streamed to corporate and did not actually record. She then told us that day she would interview a few students to find out what exactly happened and that Lacy was currently on vacation for two weeks. Later that day I came back and Toiya told me that she had let Lacy go. I decided to not take my son the rest of the week and informed Toiya of this. The next day two weeks worth of tuition was taken from my account. I called and asked for a refund of a week back and was told that would be no problem. When I showed up for the check the owner was also there and began writing me a check that was short $40. She told me that my son exaggerated about the assault. Up until this point I had remained calm but inferring my son was a liar was the last straw. I called them out on all of their lies and demanded the entire two weeks back and corporates number. I called and left multiple voicemails for corporate. When another owner called back she told me Lacy had been fired refunded the two weeks. Two weeks later I found out Lacy was back from vacation. I immediately called corporate and left a voicemail. I demanded an investigation be done. Just recently I knew the state had been involved in this place since there were too many students to teachers in the classrooms. Let me repeat that, THE STATE HAD TO GET INVOLVED. That is how uncaring and money hungry this school is. DO NOT TRUST THIS CORPORATION AND SPECIFICALLY THIS SCHOOL.

I have been going to TLE McKinney for a while now and I have nothing but good things to write. After moving to Texas last year, we were very concerned about finding a safe and friendly day care for my daughter. This school is amazing! From their balanced menu, to the curriculum they follow from an early age. It is just a great place for our daughter. Teachers are awesome, and the other staff members are very friendly and down to earth. My daughter loves her school, her teachers. We are more than satisfied with our choice. Not only they have an excellent program but they really keep me in loop by informing me of her day to day activities and her progress. If my daughter is unwell, they let Ms. Toiya know to inform me. This particular TLE is quite far for me but I am willing to drive more just because I know that my daughter is well taken care of and she is in a safe place which is far more important to me. My daughter always has something new to show me or tell me so I know for sure that TLE has an excellent curriculum they do pay individual attention to each child. The teachers for our daughter have all been wonderful. The Director Ms. Toiya is wonderful and always keeps us informed with what is going on. The school also tries to keep the parents involved on parent nights and other events. There truly is no better second home for your child. I want to thank TLE Staff for being so wonderful to my daughter. Overall, we had a very satisfactory experience and would highly recommend this school and Ms. Toiya.

My grandson goes to this school and loves it.He has been going there since the school opened and loves his teacher. He loves going down the slide at the Make Believe Blvd and would not want to come out of that room. We all danced together during there grandparents day celebration. They invited all of us for the thanksgiving luncheon and served an elaborate meal. Beautiful turkey feathers with his picture and hand prints to say thank you to us. It was an emotional moment. They are so caring. I was impressed at how even the infants were ringing the bells at the jingle bell song, but the best moment was when my grandsons class went up on stage to sing there song. The room was packed. All the parents and grandparents showed up to that holiday nite party. This last saturday they had their grand opening party. A teacher was in each classroom representing a culture and they all looked so happy. Amazing balloon animals - never seen spiders, monkeys and lady bugs like that. The entire school was so festive. I love their events. Wish I was in such a school when I little.I am so happy my children chose this school for my grandson.

We were only enrolled two months before teachers were quitting left and right. Me and my husband and I loved one of the teachers that eventually quit and she told us personally the school didnt have it together and it was complete chaos. Aside from all of that, the school is beautiful and its deceiving because the program sounds great and the set up sounds outstanding but the problem is they do not implement ANY of the education! My son learned NOTHING that they promised. They didnt even have a class room for his age! Instead of getting another teacher they combined my almost 5 year old with the 3 year old classroom for 3 months. Finally when they found a teacher she got fired a month later becasue she left one of her students in a classroom and a parent found the kid alone and crying. I had many discussions with the owners and teachers, We had to pull out my child, every day we met a new teacher, we just could not do it anymore. Also...take note of the positive reviews on here..1 is the owner, and the other 2 are her family members. What a Joke.
