I knew when we went to look at the place where my father wanted his resting place to be, this was not the place! But, nonetheless this was his last wish to be buried where his brother was. I have been there about 3 times in the last couple of months and notice that the grass never seems to be cut? If I wanted to cut the grass around his stone then I would have buried him at the city cemetery. We all pay alot of money to lay our loved ones to rest and then so that can treat them just like that. Like if no one is going to ever complain. Well guess what?!?! Im giving you guys a bad review and I will be taking this up higher than this. Then I noticed that they are not leaving any room in between their space it is like all of them are on top of each other. I thought that maybe because the stones are to big but nope. They want to pile as many bodies on each other to gain that extra 10 grand. I HATE THIS PLACE. I will be leaving notes on all the stones of the people where my father is laid at so that we can a petition you will treat them with respect and clean their spaces up!! We are still here, so at least my father will still have a voice!!!!

Very pleased with the whole process. We were very tired from mom being on hospice and seeing her slip away, my sister in law called the funeral home and they offered to come out to our home to go over the information on the funeral that was already paid for. Mom had been so sick for so long, the funeral director was understanding and offerd us a different option, where we could have a "private family time" with moms casket opened prior to the public visitation, because we knew mom would not have wanted her friends to see her look so wasted away. Then later that afternoon we could have the casket closed for the public visitation and the rosary. When we came in to see mom, we were in tears that she looked peaceful and beautiful that we decided to leave her casket open for the entire evening. They actually cut& styled her hair exactly like how the photo we took in looked. Going above and beyond our expectations was a blessing, they delivered the flowers & plants to my house the day after the service, the death certificates came in that following week.

Very disappointed with this place and would not recommend anyones beloved one being buried here. We have our son in baby land and all families have to constantly maintenance our own plots because laurel oaks wont. Talking to the director ( the third one since we buried our son in October 2015 ) she doesnt care about anything but bringing in the next decieced person to make money or meet the number of plots she needs to sale. Her own staff seems to disagree with her sense of judgement and would rather reason with the families but she will over rule them. If you do decied to lay your loved one to rest here make sure she doesnt pull the old car sales man pitch to you and sale you a dream because its more like a nightmare. Also be ready to plant your own grass and maintenance the area you will have your lived one at because they wont. The only reason I put one star is because it will not let you post it if you dont at least put one. They should have a negative rating so we could rate them that way as well.

I buried my son April, the person that helped me is no longer working there so... It was extremely confusing with no suggested help from the coordinator, she basically didnt co-ordinate much. I was not much help and basically said what ever, and yes to everything just to be left alone with my grief. So, I admit some of the confusion could have been my fault, but with the amount of money put out you think that the Staff would endeavor to make this process go more smoothly. The Staff should know the procedure and share their knowledge instead of laying it all on the grieving parent.

The staff here seemed to lack compassion for our family who lost a loved one. The day of the service it felt like we were being rushed as if we were on a "time clock" of some sort. The minute someone was away from the casket a worker quickly rushed over to remove the cross in the attempt to get the casket closed and done with. Then while we were all still in the chapel greiving our hour was up and the casket was quickly closed and our loved one wheeled off to the back. I know of others who have had a great experience here in the past, but in my circumstance it was not.

My family has plots and cremations, as well as headstones already paid for and the clueless woman who says she is in charge says she can find no record...We have the receipts and she refuses to assist us even after we have spoke with her numerous times in person and on the phone. Looks like this is headed for litigation and/or an investigation by a team from one of the local media outlets. Im wondering if the IRS might be interested in the goings on of this rip off joint.

The staff were very helpful, considerate, and compassionate of our family needs at the time of my mother;s death. Ordered 15 death certificates and received 15. My mother had a closed casket service; therefore she was not embalmed. They dressed her in what I wanted her to wear and returned to me, cleaned, the pajamas she was wearing. My husband and I have pre-paid for our services there and are very confident that our wishes will be carried out as we have requested.

Hasnt been the easiest experience. Very disappointed with the upkeep of the graves. They dont keep up with the mowing at all. I ordered 11 death certificates and only received 1. They were going to go downtown and pick them up for the next day. That was Monday. Now they are saying maybe by Friday. Anyone who has dealt with the death of a loved one knows that you need much more than 1.

As you enter everything looks nice lawn mowed and everything but as you go further back it gets worse. Baby land is hardly ever mowed and this has been an ongoing issue. If you call and complain they suggest putting in a work order I shouldnt have to put in a work order for the lawn to be mowed. Weeds everywhere I do not recommend burying ones loved one here.

Not very well put together if you ask me. We had email problems and we werent contacted about it until the night of the viewing (it was sent the day and night before). Like a lot of people on here say, anything to get money, and they lack compassion. I dont recommend burying your loved ones here.
