I had had both my daughter and niece enrolled here for about 6 months only reason we stayed that long is because i had already paid for their recital fees and costumes, so i waited till end of the Year Recital.The reason for my 1 star review is The Owners, are very Rude, unprofessional and unorganized, i should have known from the first day when my daughter came to class with her hair in a braid and they tried to fine me $$ (when i was never told it was mandatory to have their hair in a bun when they signed me up) . I would take my 6 month old with me while we waited in wait area (separate from students) The owner mother would tell me i was not allowed to play videos on my phone for my baby to preoccupy him? it seems like there was always some extra fee for something or the other, and knowo that they charge you extra to pay with credit card and if your payment due date falls on a day that they are closed due to bad weather or Holiday pay it the week before or they will charge you a late fee. or try to anyways, I am all for showing discipline, its part of the reason i wanted my kids to take dance but not allowing them to use the restroom during class..is extreme..or requiring 3/4 year old to stay for 4 HOUR Mandatory dress rehearsals and expect them to stay still not have drinks or snacks in that time, these are just a few of things we experienced , Final straw was The Day of the Recital when My sister and i had signed up to help out in the dressing rooms for our girls class, because they didnt have it together they couldnt find my sister Name Tag, but they allowed her to go on back with me because we were the only mothers from our girls class that signed up, I had to run to the car because i left my daughter shoes in the car i returned to find my pregnant sister crying at the entrance, Jenna the owner had saw my sister didnt have a Name Tag on went into a fit forced her to leave not allowing her to explain the situation talking over her threatening to have her removed?.... when i go to check on our girls ages 3-7, they were UNATTENDED!, yes there were other mothers in the dressing rooms but on their side of the rooms who were occupied and concerned with their girls/class, the other mothers confirmed what my sisters told, Jenna flew in like a bat out of hell just looking to attack on any person that would take it, for no reason just I guess to release stress from the chaotic disaster of her dance recital she organized

The new owner, Jenna Shields, is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I grew up dancing with her, and she and her mother (who apparently is now the office manager) seemed to always have it out for me. I received multiple comments over the years from other dancers and dance moms that they were bad mouthing me. I was a dancer and teacher here for several years, and it was a great place under Yvonne. However, the new ownership has sadly deteriorated the business. Ive received several reports from former dancers that she has been rude and unprofessional towards them and others. I wouldnt recommend bringing your children here. Her dancing is not that great; she is incredibly stiff when she moves, and you just may end up seeing her ugly side.

The recitals are wonderful and even the smallest kids KNOW the dances...its amazing how much they learn here! All the recitals are so creative and the children do such great job, so the teaching is spot on. (I have been to three recitals) The owner Jenna is professional and very friendly and is great at teaching all ages, she taught at our churchs VBS (the children LOVED her class). I also have attended Stage Door Dance classes as an adult on and off for two years now. As a student it has been a great experience and wonderful teachers that encourage and push you to do your best. Wonderful way to get exercise and learn something new.

My Granddaughter attends the studio, and I am absolutely enamored with it as well as the owner Jenna. The recitals are well put together, and you can tell the teaching is top notch based on the children performing. There is a genuine love of dance in this studio, and you can feel it the moment you walk through the doors. I would absolutely recommend anyone who wants an excellent experience, to attend classes here.

Ive had a great experience at Stage Door. The owner has a lot of patience and can work with all students all ages!! My girls love her and I love her commitment. Weve been at the studio for many years and have no regrets. Nothing short of the professionalism that Jenna shows and requires of her workers and students. I have recommended this studio to many people!!

I have grown immensely since I came to Stage Door Dance 10 months ago. My turns are better and Im an overall better dancer. Dance is freedom and relief to me and Im glad I landed here. Jenna is very educated in her craft and she has led me in a better position as a dancer.
