Place is clean and everything is perfect except the man there. I initially gave a 5 star rating, now changing it due to something happened there. Usually a women used to be there when I went for the first four times. She is so nice and good. And one evening there was the man in charge. He didnt smile or anything which we were fine with. I used washing for around 10 dollars. I had my blanket with me which I didnt bring for washing and wanted to just heat/warm it for two mins to use it for the night. So I directly put it in the dryer. I used one of the free dryer as I didnt have any change and am not going to use for more than 2 mins. This man came straight to me and rudely said u didnt wash it so u cant dry it. There is a way to tell that and I am using his washer for almost 10$(6.5 I guess and 3.75$ if I remember right) I told him am going to just use for two mins and am done with all the quarters. He said u didnt wash and u cant dry. Am a regular customer and I expected some kind of comfort in his conveying that. It is not about that the 25 or 50 cents. Next, we are almost done and its close to 10:00 and he became restless and started asking us are we done and kept looking at us with displeasure. What d heck! One or two mins extra nothing is gonna happen right.we r folding the last clothes. Am changing my 5 star to 2. I didnt expect this from MJ who has very good reviews. Met him for d first time - and am all done with this laundromat. May be will visit when the sweet lady is there! May be he is good to Americans alone! He might not even care about this review, cos he has got majority good review. He didnt acknowledge my review when it was 5 also and I dont expect him to reply even now.

Very clean facility and free drying. I come often. Only negative experienece: I asked an attendant for advice on getting a better wash, and she assumed I was trying to tell her "Amigo Laundry" did something wrong. (I gather that assumption because of the way she responded to me.) I told her sometimes I cant get my clothes completely clean for some reason. I told her about previous times coming and still having smells or residue outside of stains on my clothes. I told her that I never over fill machines and I use the correct amount of detergent, if not more. We walked over to the current issue which was a smell and she took it and simply said, "Smells clean, aint nothin we can do about that". Obviously I wouldnt have asked for advice if it smelled clean, but I think she just assumed I was complaining about the services. I just wish she would have handled the conversation with me differently. I believe she handled it how any uninterested person would. (My own assumption) Outside of that one instance I believe it is a great facility. The owner was my first experience with Amigo Laundry and he was very pleasant. I will probably be back, just want to try another laundromat next time.

My spouse and I came here for the first time (because of the great review we saw online). But sadly, what we received is a BAD experience and were certain NOT to come back again. First, our washer didnt start spinning so my husband put in extra quarter (still didnt work). We got the worker to come and take a look, she tempered with it and the machine started working. She acknowledge that we put in extra money but chose to not do anything. We just let it go since it just 1 quarter. Second, when we put our clothes in the dryers, we used the ones next to the office, not knowing there are free dryers for customers who wash clothes. Later on, when we ask for for refund since it is our first time here, she pretend to not understand (and she pretend that she didnt know we used the machines, even though she came and helped us earlier with the washer and exchange bills) Again, she can keep the little amount of money but she for sure wont be getting any more visit from us. We rather go somewhere else to wash our clothes.

Clean, easily accessed facility, and brightly lit in our a.m. visit today. We used a 3-load front loading machine in the front row, and a more typical (smaller) machine in the 2nd row. Both worked great. The control panel showed minutes to completion, a convenience we had not seen before. The spin dry speed on each was amazing, providing excellent drying times. Though we took our drying home, the facility has free drying (when you washed in his washing machines). My spouse and I met the owner on-site. He provided polite guidance on the machines. He also gave us a phone number to someone he trusted to fix his laundry machines after we shared that our 20 yr old home clothes washer leaked. We have decided that next time we have a large item (queen size bedding or comforter), we will try out one of the larger machines on a gentle cycle. (Local dry cleaners ruined our last attempt.)

This is the nicest laundromat Ive ever been to. All the machines are new, its spotless, and the staff here are great. Its also a bargain because dryers are free.(Edit: as of 1/1/2017, Amigo started charging for dryers, but its still the nicest laundry Ive found.) Theyll help you figure out which size of washer youll need (from 1 laundry basket - 6 laundry baskets full), show you how they work, and sell you detergent and fabric softener if you dont have your own. Alamo Laundry is really a bargain, too: dryers are free. They have Tide and Ariel in 250G (about 2 cups) packages, more than enough for two small washes. One-load Tide Pods, bottles of fabric softener and dryer sheets are also available.

Had the occasion to visit Amigo today and was very impressed with the facility, the machines, and the owner. New, high quality machines come in three sizes--standard, large, and extra-large. The large machines effectively are the size of three standard loads, which saves time and money. The dryers are very effective as well. Clean and neat, many machines available, high definition television and plenty of seating and folding areas. Conveniently located near the DART rail station and Central Expressway in a shopping center with ample parking. Attendant is always on duty. Highly recommend!

I came because it was highly recommended, and I agree with the recommendation! The folding can be done right there with folding area, great racks for hangers you bring to put shirts and hanging items, with a basket on the bottom for the laundry basket. The place is so very clean, and I have always had a great experience here. I can get change when I need it, and I get my laundry done quickly with the large dryers. The folding service is amazing--I get inspired each time I see the ladies work with such professionalism.

I have been coming here for over a year now. The machines are usually clean and the owner takes pride in his establishment, so if theyre not clean for any reason, they will make it right before your clothes go in the wash. We originally started coming here when our washer broke, but the clean facility, friendly employees and the ease of getting our laundry done all in a couple of hours kept us coming back even after we got a new washer/dryer set. Dont go anywhere else in Plano, it will not compare.
