I recently moved to the area and was sent coupons to Dixie Cleaners so I figured Id try them out. Dropped off my cleaning on Saturday morning and the cashier separated my laundry, while quoting me the prices. To ensure that I understood the pricing breakdown (since apparently my coupon only applied to mens clothing and not womens clothing), I had her go over the total amount and how the coupons applied. When I went to pick up my cleaning, there was another cashier and my final price was quite a bit more than I was expecting! Even though the previous cashier had quoted me a price based on my coupon, some of my husbands shirts were not included b/c they were french cuff. The cashier pointed out the "exceptions apply" on the coupon... but shouldnt I be told what the "exceptions" are when I initially drop off my laundry?? Be weary of Dixie Cleaners coupons because the exceptions are not clearly stated on the coupon nor are you told when you initially drop off your cleaning what are exceptions. Also, for women, the coupons dont apply to womens clothing so its $4 to dry clean one shirt! Though my clothes were cleaned well, I did not appreciate the unclear prices and misleading coupons... or the fact that cashier told me I was "confused", which I definitely was not. Ill be going to another dry cleaner in the future.

My very first time there they ruined a silk top with what looked like bleach stains all over. When i went to pick it up the lady said I had to come back the next day to talk to the owner. When i did there was another guy in there arguing with him about the exact same thing - a nice shirt with bleach stains. He said they dont use bleach but something put white spots on both our shirts! He said it was my perfume that did it. and when i told him i didnt wear perfume he insisted my roommate borrowed the top. I argued with the owner for 15 minutes (while lots of customers were waiting in line... sorry!) and he refused to take any responsibility saying he would send it in and have the material tested! He finally gave me a $100 credit for dry cleaning. I didnt even use it - I gave it to my roommate. Way to expensive and horrible job!

Beware!!!!!! Took a very nice BCBG shirt here with an accordian pleat collar. When I came back to pick it up all of the pleats had fallen out. It seems to me that if you cannot return an item to a customer looking like it did when they brought it to you; you should return it without doing the work. If they had just returned it to me and admitted to themselves specilized high quality clothing is not their strong suit I would have had the option to take it to a more capable dry cleaner. My top is now ruined and cannot be fixed. Owner is not easy to work with and I will never take anything else there!
