If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I am not even sure where to start... So upon moving in to our rental house we go into the garage to see a pile of complete junk. It even had a sign from the previous tenant that said "great for garage sale" and it took Posey a week to get the pile of junk out of our garage. Then we call and ask them to fix the falling apart fence. They come out, rig it up and leave. We had to have them come out twice more for the gate to be functional, and after months they finally came back out and rigged it again. Also took them three months to install a broken garage door opener. i had to call the owner of the house to get it taken care of. Raquel, the accountant should be fired ASAP. She lost not only my original lease, but then our second lease and called me and asked me to email it to her. Has she ever heard of a scanner and or file cabinet. She is also extremely rude. We had plumbing issues, we called Posey and asked them have someone come out, we had the same issue prior. I said the nature of my job had me traveling a lot, that I would not be able to be there. They come anyway, forget to bring a key, and charge me 75$ for not being there. When you turn in your move out notice they constantly bother you 24/7, I mean I am at dinner with my wife at 7PM and have rude real estate agents calling to schedule showings. Be prepared to be ripped off completely on your deposit. Google them...look at all the bad reviews they have. I had time stamped and dated pictures of the lawn. They charged us 58$ for lawn fees. they claimed the bushes were not trimmed. Sorry, no where in the lease did it say that we have to win yard of the month. The charged us 75$ for changing three light bulbs and an air filter. They then charged us $45 for trash removal, even though we have heavy trash days that pick up the trash. Then the kicker, they charge $75 for the plumbing fee which was paid in full and a copy of the check emailed to that airhead Raquel three times. I threatened legal action and got that $75 back, Overall this company is trash. Century 21 should be ashamed to have any relation to Tom Posey. I plan to write the BBB, upon researching them they have a "F" rating. Go figure. Also even though it states in my lease they have to provide receipts for work done, the didnt. They sent some BS letterhead that said 75$ charge. Not one receipt after asking for it numerous times was sent to me. I really wanted to see the light bulb receipt. Horrible company, horrible customer service, complete rip off. The worse part is that they hire independent real estate agents so you dont know that they are the property management company until you sign the lease. I would sue for the rest of the money they ripped me off on but its not with the time or effort. I do plan to spread the word everywhere and write Century 21, the BBB, and the Texas Real Estate Association. STAY AWAY, or be prepared to be screwed, Just Google Posey property management plano reviews and you will see I am not the only one. The fact that you associate your name with Posey makes you just as guilty. I would in no way shape or form do business with him.

We should have walked away before ever signing a lease on with these people. There was graffiti in the garage that when I asked if they would cover, the agent acted as if I was asking for something remarkably unreasonable. The house was not well maintained and its a shame. It could be a very cute house, but it needs a lot of work. We lived there for 2 years and asked for maintenance maybe 3 times. The first was for a broken dish washer. It took over 4 months for them to respond and replace. Then right after we renewed our lease, we lost power. While they managed to fix it faster, we still spent two days outside of our home, sleeping at friends house (they did not compensate us in any way for this, even though the fridge wasnt working and we lost all of the food). We counted down the days for when we could leave. Two weeks after our move out date, they sent us a text asking if we were still living there; we had turned in our keys and been given a written receipt two weeks prior! And last but not least was getting our deposit back. We waited the thirty days for them to mail it and then called them to ask where it was... they hadnt mailed it. We waited one more week and called again. My roommate drove to their office and picked up the check in person. At least we got the full amount back! I cant imagine what this review would have looked like without that. Just overall, very disappointing. We loved this little house and treated it as well as we could. My roommate fixed holes that were there before we moved in, we touched up the running boards, I mean, we adored that little place. I have to leave a review that makes people STAY AWAY from these people. And if you do rent this house, talk down the price for sure.

I am a landlord with Century 21. I never able to talk to my assign property manager before signing the contract. It turn out my property manager is a troll. There are so many bad things I can say about her. But just let me say, I have to remind my manager my lease with tenant is about to end please find out whether my tenant want to renew or not. One week later she reply, there is still time, we can wait. OK, fine, I wait. As the result of waiting, the earliest my tenant can move out is two months after lease ended because I got my notice in so late. There are many other little (er) issue. The average email respond time is two weeks or even never. Poor tenant screening process. Poor monthly statement, not following accounting rule at all. Will ask to change a assign a different property manager. Hope the next one will not be as ignorant as the one I have now. Or I will have to find a different company.

As a property owner I cannot say enough good things about Posey Properties. They take care of their business, and their customers. The 1 time that I have emailed a question, Tom responded back within 3 minutes. My rent house has been maintained and rented quickly. I have never bothered with trivial problems, which is important to me. All their financial reports are easy to ready, include receipts, and are on time each month. After managing my property myself, using another management company and now Tom. I can say that they have by far exceeded all expectations of service.

Terrible property management. They lie to you about cleaning the house before move-in. Maintenance requests take forever. Currently in the second week of waiting for them to replace a window that was broken during a hail storm. They dont even contact us when its time to renew our yearly lease. We end up doing their job for them. Stay away from these people. They dont care about their tenants. Its arguable that they will actively try to sabotage your living situation. STAY AWAY!
