Worst 24 Ever! First off, I have never felt a gym as HOT as this one. Im having trouble running all the way through due to the heat! Ive never sweat so bad in my life, I turn red and feel like Im going to pass out. I literally get hot and sometimes sweat before I have started my work out due to the temp! I took a picture of the AC adjuster and wish I could upload it to this review cuz it says 82 degrees! People Its upper 90s outside and in the 80s inside while people are being active? I have been at this location for 7 weeks due to it being the only one close and its been like this the whole time. I was told their ac unit was broke and cant figure out why on earth they wont fix it!! 2nd, everyday it takes me about 3-4 different cardio machines to find one that works ...they are ALWAYS BROKEN! Fix your equipment! They dont even have sign on all the broken cardio machines! Everyday I have to rotate and try multiple ones just to find one that works and watch everyone else do the same. This has also been like this the entire time Ive been there. I even took the time to count and make a note on which of them were broke so maybe they would get them fixed or atleast put a sign but everytime I have tried to tell the person @ the front there has been no one there. They have very limited machines ....every other location Ive been too ( and thats a lot in difference cities and states ) they have a wide selection and there are 3 specific machine I use that have sculpted my back to my satisfaction and they dont have them so I cant get my back done. A lot of the other machines they have are rusted or get jammed. Not to mention I have no been able to keep my work out schedule up and do the required amount of days because they arent 24 hrs!!! Its called 24 hr fitness! This the the WHOLE reason I chose 24 hr over LA Fitness or Lifetime so that I could work out cuz doing work and school sometimes I dont get to go til late and I have to get it in when I can ...I should be there right now getting my last day of the week in but its a Saturday and they close @8....That is freakin early! So now I dont know how Im going to get last day in since I just re arranged my schedule to get it and they close early. I also cant do on the days I go to school due to the fact on weekdays they close @11 and Im at school late so basically I have screwed off my work out routine for the past 7 weeks trying every single week to get it done but w the times its impossible. Worst freakin gym I have ever seen! Working out is supposed to be a stress release but its more of a pain everytime I have to go to this gym. Considering canceling my membership now and Ive been with them for 4 yrs ...but since they arent what they stand for and have so many problems w a curfew I might as well sign up to another gym thats not 24 hrs ...atleast they will have AC and not have their clients suffering in heat and Ill have machines that work. Wow I just read the reviews from everyone else and they all have the same complaints and a few of them are even a yr ago ...I cant believe this. They need to just get shut down.

I used to work out at this long time ago and its really going down the drain (I now go to the Murphy one). The place isnt trashy, but its grimy, the locker rooms and bathrooms are filthy, the trainers are kind of rude, the music they now play is annoying (they used to play a lot of Modest Mouse and Foo Fighters, now they just play too much EDM and Justin Bieber although I just listen to my own music on my phone), equipment is really old, its still hasnt been converted to a super sport unlike other sport gyms converting to super sport, I hardly see that many youngsters as most of them are 60 year old Asians (not trying to be racist), and its really stupid how they close at night on Fridays and weekends (Its called 24 Hour Fitness for a reason) and I usually work out at nights than during the daytime. However, I usually just work out for about 1-2 hours just doing basic weight lifting workouts so I am able to overlook some of these cons which is why I am little more generous to give it 3 stars than 2 stars which I believe would deserve. But they really got to do a lot of improving with the place and they should never close unless if its a certain holiday, its 24 Hour Fitness! Although working out there for years brings back memories, I would never come back her again unless they actually try to renovate the place, let alone making it a super-sport.

This gym has good days and bad days, where sometimes the staff is diligent, everything is clean, they pick up towels and clean the floors. Other days, the floors are dirty and there are no towels, but the bins are full of wet ones. I blame a lot of the messy problems on the people who come and drop things on the floor and expect someone else to clean up after them. They walk through wet areas by the pool with street shoes since there are no rules about going through to the locker rooms via the hallway. Some people think spitting is permitted when they exit the steam room because there are gutters around the pool, and no one tells them how disgusting this is and no signs prohibit it. As for working equipment, there always seems to be equipment available and since I see people working out, I can only assume that the equipment works. The classes that Ive attended have had pretty good instructors. Several of the aqua classes are full because they are so popular, although sometimes the pool chemicals are "off" or the water is chilly. I cant compare it to any other club because I havent gone to them. All I can say is that the club personnel have always been very friendly but the club cleanliness conditions would be better if they were more consistent in their monitoring efforts and if club members would be more considerate of others.

There is so much that I would like to say. Cons 1.) Head the warnings the locker room especially the womens. If you look in the shower you will find that it smells strongly of bleach. Second that some of the showers are under construction. Lastly that there is mold. 2.) The pool. I actually got sick because on the one day that I went it was raining, and it was dripping into the pool. 3.) THEY ARE NOT 24 HOURS. You think I am kidding we werent told that they closed early when we signed up. On the first Monday we went they said that they were closing. I thought I miss heard so I went down to ask and they said that they were closing at 8. When I went to another location ( the one on royal ) and asked what time they closed they looked at me like I was the most stupidest person. I dont blame them because THERE SIGN SAYS 24 HOURS FITNESS. Once I told them they thought I was joking and even taking bets amongst others. Alot lost. 4.) It is very old, in this day in age they need to take those hours that they are close and focus on rebranding that location. Positive 1.) The playroom for the kids. Its so awesome. My child can run around and have so much fun there. He loves it and it has a playground inside. There is so much for them to do. 3.) The staff. They are really nice and almost always have towels.
