So... We used to go to Texas Dreams for more than 3 years. We moved to Allen a couple of months ago and I traded a very client friendly professional facility for Metroplex. Im am not impressed. Some of the coaches are great, however the facility in general is not very well run, front desk staff is unprofessional and not customer service oriented at all. There is hardly a floor manager present to supervise and resolve any issues there maybe. Their attitude is not one that wants or appreciates your/my business, and even though they have preschool classes, there isnt much flexibility. Here are a few examples and comparisons: my 3 year old can be shy going into a class. At Texas Dreams (TD) the floor supervisor - who btw is very friendly - would step in every time my son wouldnt go in or cry, talk to him, motivate him etc. Though not the norm, they would allow him to have his lovey at the begging of class and eventually he was used to and would run to class with a smile on his face (hat off to TD staff). At Meteoplex (M): same scenario. Coach walked away, rightfully tending to other kids. No one stepped in to help and motivate the 3 year old. We lost a session. He hated the place. Upon my request, they agreed to let him do a make up. So, on the day of make up, having no other options, my 5 year old (who has been doing gymnastics for 3.5 years) had to be tagging along. So I asked if she could participate in a class rather sitting there for an hour. I was more than willing for an extra session. Front desk flat out refused. I asked to talk to a supervisor: not one present. So, a very disappointed 5 year old in gymnastic gear had to sit and watch. They made no effort to accommodate is or to retain our business. So, though its a drag, I am seriously considering driving the 30 miles and give my business to a place that appreciates it, and a place that encourages and motivates my children.

Shame on me to not have read the reviews before booking a party at the metroplex gymnastics, it was the worst experience ever!!! It was very disorganized, we had to waste party time looking for gifts that were placed on the wrong cart, it took much convincing to get them to even try to look. To top it off, the electricity went out during a sudden heavy rain, lightning and thunderstorm, the place was pitch-black there was no back up light and we were using the flashlight on our phones. So, we left without using the 24 packs of bluebell ice cream cups I had given (Mason) to put in the freezer when we arrived (dont forget they advertise "the freezer for your ice cream"). When I returned that evening to pickup my ice cream, they were no where to be found! The girl at the desk was like "there is none left", despite me trying to explain we didnt use any at all, luckily our party host was still there who confirmed that we didnt use any during the party. So, Mason was called, who said "he gave them to a party host", an unknown host I may add because it wasnt my party host!! Fast forward, I was told the manager will call me the next day. The unprofessional Tre called and told me that Brian the owner said they can not compensate or replace the ice cream as their policy states they are not responsible for "lost or stolen" items. They unfortunately dont know the difference between misappropriation vs lost! Their employee gave my clearly marked items to someone else which I dont believe, I dont think anyone would have accepted items they didnt buy for their childs party, I think Brians employee (s) ate or took them home but he doesnt care about costumer satisfaction enough to investigate what actually happened! Save your money and sanity, do not do business with these people! It is a boring place anyways, the kids had to be creative for an hour with the boring place!!! What a rip off!

My son recently had a party there in the red room. Having never been there before, we were a little surprised not to be met at the door with help and instructions. The room was not ready when we arrived, and there was only one teen assigned to our party. She was out of breath and seemed a little disoriented as to how to get the party started. No parent liability forms were asked to be signed which I found surprising. We were only the second party of the day. We arranged to eat first and then play (red room party option), however with the place being understaffed, kids were wandering into the play area to an existing party. When the teen helped to serve pizza to kids she put her hands all over it which I thought was unsanitary. Long story short, we could not wait to get to playtime where they finally had more than one staff person. Kids and parents had a good time once we got out of the room. It was a little stressful and rushed for us behind the scenes, but in the end ok. I would recommend this place, but would choose the playtime option first (blue room) in case they are understaffed and parents have to do everything else. It is also easier to direct the children to the play area rather than to an upstairs party room when they arrive. Since no manager is on duty the day of your party to trouble shoot, and there is no answering machine at the facility, I would call ahead to get the cell number of the manager or some other person in charge. Infinite Bounds in Plano is also run by teens, but well staffed, VERY professional, and they call to confirm everything with you a few days before the party (also cheaper overall).

I had my 4 year old daughters birthday here on May 21st. Worst experience ever!! They have terrible customer service, unorganized, and lack of communication between employees! They have the guests place their gifts on a designated cart with the birthday childs name on it, but they dont monitor. Received a call yesterday (almost 2 weeks after the party) they found one of my daughters gift. I went up there today to claim it and "someone must have moved it or took it". I requested that they called everyone with parties today to see if maybe one of the workers possibly put it on their cart and they ended up accidentally taking it home. The "swim director" told me that he would watch security tapes. I got a call an hour later and they told me that a gentleman came in and knew my daughters name and claimed the gift. My phone number was the only one on the registration and my husband was with me all day... they told me I cant directly contact the manager and he doesnt have set hours for when he is there. I guess I will be blowing up their phone until I speak with Bryan! UPDATE: just talked to Bryan and he told me there was nothing he could do to make it right and it was my fault the gift was lost. Thats fine, I wouldnt have expected your customer service to be any better. I will be replacing my daughters gift that yall gave to the wrong person and spreading the word about how terrible my experience was and try to save others from this frustration.
