We made our reservations 3 months ahead of time. We wanted a separate room for privacy since we were going with another couple. We were stuck in the very back of the Bayfront Cottages. We arrived to our room, and clearly it had not been touched by a cleaning person. The floor was full of sand, the cabinets were disgusting, and it smelled musty. The only thing it had was a separate room with two separate beds in it. Which would have been fine if the pull out couch bed would have been able to open all the way (the table was in the way) and would have had sheets on it. We were stuck sharing a room. (we made do) then we discovered that the shower didnt even work. We went to the front desk to tell them, and instead of moving us to a different room, we were given the keys to a room two doors down to be able to shower. The lights didnt even work in that room, and it took 15 minutes to get warm water. To top all this off, there were roaches everywhere, and not a single dish to cook with in the kitchen. It is a good thing we brought our own, although I have NEVER stayed in a suite that had a kitchen but not kitchenware. No discount was offered, no apologies for the inconvenience. Nothing. Might I also add that no fitted sheets were on any of the beds? The flat sheet was used to cover the mattress, and the only thing you had to cover with was that nasty itchy quilt crap. I will never go to this place again. I hope someone else had a better experience, it was a waste of our money and time. One more thing, the AC didnt even work in the bedroom. Very DISAPPOINTED IN BAYFRONT COTTAGES!!!!!

So, my husband and son stayed there this weekend. Reviews are all over the place, so we decided to give it a try. Big mistake! First off, no hot water and the stove had no burners. They stuck it out for two days but after days of fishing, who can do without a good shower to clean up? They decided to come home a day early as they were stinky and uncomfortable. I decided to call the establishment and to my surprise, the lady first argued with me, stating that there arent any stoves in the cottages (advertised in the pictures) when clearly a non-functional one was present and then admitted that they had a gas line out since last week but neglected to tell them upon check in. When I asked for a refund for the last night she beat around the bush and told me to hold on a minute. She then informed me that her boss had said "no" to the refund. I could clearly hear her conversing in a different language but when I asked to speak to that boss, she told me he was not available and that she had called him on the phone. I call BS on that one. To ad to the demise there were roaches in the room and shower. Sadly, the owners did not make any effort to correct the situation and even when confronted with a negative review, remained unfazed. On the bright side, the parking was good. Will spend our hard-earned money somewhere else.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! This place is infested with roaches and mold. We booked for 3 days the first night we noticed the roaches we let them know and they gave us roach spray. Second night we had no running water at all and asked for clean towels that we never received I never even seen the cleaning lady we ended up cleaning the floors ourself the firsr day we were there. 3rd night we had left for a little while and came back to the entire kitchen covered in 50-60 roaches again we let them know and was told we would receive a refund the next morning upon checking out I went the next morning to receive my refund and was told I was going to be given a $21 discount!! My dad also stayed the same time we did when he arrived his room had not even been cleaned from the guest before him (aside from the bed being made) there was a juice bottle still there and juice still splattered on the wall that was never cleaned even when mentioned to the manager. I will never return to the awful place I would rather pay top dollar and stay somewhere sanitary. I would NEVER recommend anyone staying here unless you are okay with roaches and mold.

Horrible, horrilble! Yes there was a kicthen, but the stove/oven didnt work, then found out there was no coffee pot in room, they need to let guest know there is no coffee pot, no nothing, i have never had to bring utensels, pots and pans when i stayed at a motel. We even had to beg for toilet paper, there was so much night traffic in and out of that place, and one of the people who live on site says there is a lot of selling illegal items. That will be my last trip to this motel. I will make sure i pass this info on.

Ive been coming here since i was a little kid and now i bring my own family. Things have just been getting BAD here. No water pressure. Mold on shower curtians. None of the outside lights work so its pitch black out here. BUGS in your room. Cleaning ladys dont make beds anymore. i had to ask for more towels and tp everyday and we stayed here 3 nights. Lets just say i will not return and will be looking for somewhere else to stay now. I only really came here for the fishing pier and now thats even getting messed up.

Pretty expensive, mediocre quality. Not-so-responsive staff. Door lock hardly worked. So did toilet. Window broken. Shower OK. Fridge too. Microwave put on stove (?!?). Beds OK & clean. EXPENSIVE. Just a 1-minute walk from a nice pier. Could be a nice place but they dont care. I moved on to Pelican Bay place close by: nicer & cheaper & friendlier. Quite clear that earlier feedback did not arrive at this places management. Strange.

I am currently staying here with my wife and kiddos, most reviews Ive read on this place werent that great we decided to take a chance on it anyway. Staff is extremely friendly rooms are clean and comfortable fully equipped small kitchen two beds and fold out you can not get a better deal for the price. Some minor issues with looks but its clean and comfortable and no there are not bugs

We stayed for 1 night and it was great! Yes rooms bit outdated but they were clean and your there to fish go to the beach etc.... Pool was nice and clean ! Great staff nice quite ! The pier oh my now well lit at night nice size and there is bait shop right next door! Will we be staying again? YES! Already have our cottage reserved! Give it a try! I did!!!!!!

The beds are really old. It smells strongly of mold and mildew. The paint is peeling off the walls at the base boards where it has been wet. Supposed to have a private pier, but it is not locked so everyone not staying at bayfront cottages is on it making it crowded. I would not recommend this place nor will I be back. Would have left if I could have.

Not what it used to be. Current owner doesnt maintain the property as well as he should. Beds are made of stone, some lights dont work, water pressure is terrible. Lights dont work on the "lighted" pier. Refused me a refund when I decided to move elsewhere, they had already charged my card for the full amount of the stay. Wont be back here again.
