My son loves going to school at Smallville! He has been going off and on now for about a year and it has been great. His first teacher Crystal was amazing and now has moved up to management which makes me feel even more comfortable about him going their because she does such a great job and truly cares about the kids. He had a teacher after that who was also wonderful, and has now moved to a different class and I enjoy the teachers in this one as well. Becky the head manager is wonderful! I know I ask a million questions and she is always wonderful to answer all my questions and explain everything. Any changes that are made in my sons classroom Becky makes sure I know about them immediately and I am very greatful for that! I know that my son is well taken care of and has lots of fun at smallville. My son also has some health issues that affect his every day life and the staff at smallville does a great job of following the instructions on how to take care of him. I am probably an over bearing parent that asks too many questions and wants things done a certain way but I know at smallvillle they are extremely accomidating to all my questions and requests. I really appreciate the way things are handled at this center. I will also say Becky takes her time choosing her staff and always has the best interest of the kids in mind when choosing them she doesnt just look for a warm body to fill the room. We love smallville! :)

Im new to the area and this area and this was the first daycare I toured. Im in no way uppity or need the best of the best just good enough for my son to be. The outside was nice. Inside is a different story. They are replacing their carpet and I did take that into consideration. When they took me to the class my son would be in I was honestly appalled. The bathroom had stuff thrown everywhere. The cubbies were messy. The tables where the kids would eat was filthy. The beds they put he babies in looked like they hadnt been cleaned in years. It smelled like urine everywhere not just by the diaper pail. Then during our tour a teacher had a kid run from her from inside to outside, and instead of running after him hastily she rolled her eyes and walked to get him. The outside looked like a salvage yard. There were toys everywhere. Inside the gate and out. My husband has no filter so he asked if there were ever homeless people hanging around soooo you can only imagine...I know Ill probably be judged for this post but oh wel. It was a big HELL NO for me on this place. I wouldnt advise anyone taking their child here.

I do not suggest this daycare to any prospective parents. My son went here for just over a month before we moved him to the other daycare in town (which I highly recommend) we moved him for numerous reasons including but not limited to how dirty and underkept the building is, how impersonal the staff is and how inconsiderate they are. My sons class had a graduation ceremony in which the only notifications that were put out consisted of a piece of paper taped to a door... nobody had told us AT ALL and since we did not know about it we missed it. My wife was devastated when our son came home to tell us about it... He also told us that he saw some kids playing with "tiny white worms that came out of the kitchen area"... Ok look he knows what earth worms are but had never seen maggots before and for him to perfectly describe maggots is disturbing. The price of this place is literally only like $10-$20wk less then the great daycare down the road. Do yourself a favor and peace of mind by not going here.

My child came home with blisters on his face because sunscreen was not applied properly, bug bites beyond belief because they dont spray and they didnt apply bugspray that i payed for and had taken up there, he also came home singing songs from K104 (a station my husband and I do NOT listen to) wanting to listen to some suggestive inappropriate songs, my youngest came home after getting Milk(he is lactose intolerant) with runny poops and a scaulded diaper rashed rear end, HOWEVER the icing on the cake was when my 6 year old son started singing lyrics to a song that says "everybody likes to lick my sausage..." if you dont know this song(which i didnt) it is VERY suggestive sexually. I had talked to the director and the owner and neither of them EVER actually did anything about it! It was all "Im so sorry" and "we will take care of that" when nothing was ever done about it! I DO NOT recommend this childcare facility it has gone WAY down hill in less than 6 months!!!

I strongly disagree with this review! My children have been going to this daycare for two years now and we love it! I have always thought the office staff have been super nice and very professional! Smallville is a great daycare and is a very family friendly enviorment. My children enjoy going to school and are very happy there. I have never had a problem that the director did not handle immidiately. The director is actually very nice and would bend over backwards to help out anyone! I think sometimes people are very immature and maybe not ready to handle being an adult. obviously this person that posted this last review is not a mature person and has a problem with diarrhea of the mouth!

Smallville Learning Center exceeded my expectations. My son attended Smallville when he was 3 month old and stayed there until he turned 18 months. The only reason we pulled him out was the fact that I had a job change and the distance to my new job was too much. Teachers in his infant to toddler classes were just amazing and TRULY loving and caring young ladies. Management, including the director and the front desk is very professional and patient to parents needs. If my work situation changes, I will definitely return to Smallville.

All 3 of my boys have attended Smallville at some point in their lives and weve formed a close bond with many of the teachers and the director. They truly make you feel like youre part of their family and they love the kids so much. Im already sad over the fact that my youngest will start school in the fall and I wont be able to see and talk to the ladies at Smallville on a daily basis. We love Smallville!

My daughter has been going to Smallville for a year now and I am incredibly happy here. The teachers are amazing and the entire administration are so welcoming and wonderful. They treat my daughter as if they have known her sense she was born. I 100% trust them with my childs care and education. My daughter is excited every morning to come here and learn. I highly recommend bringing your children here. ❤️

They have very few teachers in each class and my daughter would always get hurt by other kids and the teachers wouldnt do anything about it. They provide very little learning chances for your kid. They can never keep a teacher there and the teachers that are there cant even control the kids in class. I recommend just paying a little extra and going to the new school owned by the benedettos
