I am so glad that this place introduced me to Avant Salon & Spa. I now go to the one in downtown Austin, but I was so happy with the service, the cut, the styling, and the prices at Avant. The value of a cut and blow dry (+ styling) is great for how talented these hair stylists are. Plus, Aveda products smell sooo good. The stylists even give you a mini temple/scalp massage! I used to get my hair cut by Jenn Pena, who was awesome and is now a manager (see below). My sister continues to see Lisa (Leeza?) because she is an exceptional colorist and really listens to what you want. Really, all of the stylists are very well-trained and personable. I have also been treated by the Avant Esthetician, Sylvia McHugh. She shaped and painted my nails with extreme precision. I prefer a short, classy nail, and Sylvia gave me just that. She also perfectly waxed my eyebrows and gave me the most relaxing, rejuvenating massage. She really knows how to do it all, and has a great perspective on beauty in general!

I spent 6 hours which included 2 I had to beg Daniel to stay for after closing because he wouldnt finish my hair. I tipped an extra $200 on top of the hundreds spent for the appointment itself and $50 for the receptionist to stay and was treated unfairly and unprofessionally only to leave with spots and almost invisible yet brassy orange streaks of hair. I will never ever go back and I would not recommend this salon to anyone. Our hair is important. The way it makes us feel or not feel and the health of it as well. This was not what I would call a salon experience. Not to mention the money I had to spend elsewhere to have my hair corrected. I suggest INTRIGUE salon on bandera and 1604. Absolutely worth the drive and the most kind professional staff.

My first visit to the Avant Salon and Spa at the Quarry was great and each one after that has been wonderful as well. Ive had my hair cut by Sylvie and Irene and I always get the results I want. Consistency between stylists is hard to come by and so appreciated!!! Everyone is always very friendly and easy to chat with. If you prefer to be on the quieter side when getting your salon/spa on then theyre happy to keep it super zen and relaxing too. :) Ive noticed I always really enjoy their playlist in the background as well, never too loud.

Avant Salon RUINED my hair! Instead of touching up my brown hair, they poured a chemical on my head which turned my hair red and fried my curls into frizz. Five years of pampering to grow out beautiful hair and it was all destroyed in an hour. This cost nearly a hundred dollars and then another hundred dollars for one bottle of conditioner. This salon used to have fantastic colorists. They all left; I wonder why.

I was so impressed with the professional, courteous staff as soon as I walked in. I had a great experience from start to finish and would recommend Avant to anyone. My stylist, Sylvia, was great at listening to what I wanted and accomplishing that. She explains what she is doing and asks enough questions to make sure you are completely happy with your results. I will be going back to her, for sure!

Ive been getting my highlights done by Dani for about a year now and hes great. Whether its highlights, lowlights, or cut hes done great work. The one time I had a concern that one section looked streaky, he made time for me the next day and broke it up (no charge). Additionally, he does an amazing (and quick) blow-out!

Found this little gem and made an appt with Jose. He did a phenominal job! He gave me exactly what I asked for (angled bob) which other hair stylists have done awful on me in the past! Lol but he was awesome and I couldnt recommend him more!

I had the pleasure to get my hair cut but Courtney. My hair has never looked so good!!! She was super sweet and fun to talk to and when I was done I was shocked my hair could look so good! Defiantly going back!

I never thought Id love a stylist as much as Jenn Pena who is now in management. However, Dani is super! Dani is really talented and Im totally satisfied with the change in stylists.

Went to get a haircut. Asked for something specific with a certain length and got way shorter than what I wanted. Nothing like the picture I showed them. A disappointment.
