This place only cares about money. We chose to have our mothers funeral at a different place but we had to use Mission South because our Mom pre-paid for a plot when our father died 32 yrs ago. The cost to open the grave and put a liner in was 1/2 of the total cost for the other funeral home that did everything else. To add the DOB and DOD and a picture to the existing tombstone was going to be another $1200. We found someone who would do it at a fraction of the cost and Mission refused saying they do not let outside vendors come in and do that. It is all about tjepney and notbing else. They tried to get us to purchase a new tombstone saying they had new larger mowers and were not responsible for damage. Again - all about the money. Horrible experience. DO NOT use the place if you can. There are better places that will save you thousands.

Came to visit my parents grave today, Fathers Day, and found their gravesite flood by the sprinkler system, water four inches deep all around their graves, water spraying on their headstones and their bench! Makes it hard to visit and place flowers when you cant even get near the site! You would think on a day when many families visit gravesites watering would be done the night before or not at all! This is just one of the many problems I have had with this cemetery, the other problems were much worse. And guess what, supervisors are never available to speak to!

Mission Park Funeral Home thier Cemetery have been so wonderful in overseeing the arrangements for my father. Thier staff expertise and understanding made a difficult time much easier for our family. Thier patience and willingness to hear all of our concerns was so appreciated. I am so happy that we trusted my Father to Mission Park and I have since done mine and my wifes advance planning with Mission Park for our funeral, cemetery and memorial needs.

Generations of my family is buried here. While the funeral services were nice, the grounds keeper is NOT! Grass is often high, water everywhere from a faucet being left on with NO hose, flowers scattered, items such as decoration missing and or broken. Hire new grounds keepers please. We have already paid plots, but believe me if things dont change here, we will sell our plots and take our business else where!

We duplicated the headstone of my father for my mother it was an old fashion type headstone that was rock hard. When my mother’s headstone arrived we were so pleased that her stone was an exact match. What more do I need to say. The employees made a very difficult time in our lives much easier. We enjoy visiting my mother on a regular bases and the cemetary is absolutely beautiful and peaceful.

Mr. Tips Fiesta commercial to reimburse me for my cab ride and I went into Mission Park Funeral Home today for the reimbursement. They were so nice and made it easy. While I was there I took care of my funeral arrangements. They gave me a great discount and very low payments. They are a great company and Im so glad they are in San Antonio.

Our dog Buster was in our family for 15 years and was just as much as a family member as any of us. We were so happy to know that mission park had so many options as to help us with celebrating Busters life. We buried him at mission south where the rest of our family is and future family will be so that our kids could visit him

Very disappointed about this place...my sister has been buried for 8 years now and there has not been any water since then. We keep complaining about it and still no response from anybody. I have planted grass 3 times already and it just keeps dying because of the lack of water. I DO NOT recommend this place.

Not very happy, mom is buried here and employees and cemetery workers do not respond to your needs. You can never speak directly to no one. They dont return phone calls. Cemetery workers run over headstones with their machines, trees fall on plots and they take weeks to pick up.

Having a very hard time trying to get paper work done. My family have been with this burial park since 1933. The women I have been dealing with was rude and disrespectful. I hope to have the paper work done soon. I would love to speak to someone else,but there has been no help.

I was at the cemetery this weekend and was very upset to see many of the grave sites/markers in the back had been gone over by tractors, leaving the markers out of place and crooked. I find that very disrespectful and lacking in "perpetual care."
