I really dislike leaving bad reviews but my haircut was awful. I am new to S.A and read a lot of reviews before scheduling an appt. I had originally scheduled a haircut for my daughter since I wanted to get a sitter for when I got my haircut because I have another little one who I did not want to take to the salon with us. Anyways, my older daughter ended up getting a haircut at the mall so instead of cancelling her appt, I found a sitter and took her appt. When I walked in Scott told me he still wasnt finished with his previous client and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I asked how long it would be and he said around 20 min, so since it is hard finding a sitter I told him Id wait. I should have just gone home at that point. He asked what I wanted to do with my hair and I showed him a couple of pics and asked if he could do it. My hair was long so I wanted it cut around shoulder length with layers. He said he could do it. From that point on, you could tell he was really annoyed that I hadnt rescheduled, but if he was running late someone could have called and let me know prior to me showing up to the salon. About 15 min later he calls me to his chair and again asks exactly what I wanted. In all honesty, I wasnt EXACTLY sure what I wanted, but I had told him around where I wanted it cut and he was just so rude. Since he is labeled on their website as artistic director I thought he could maybe give me a little insight or recommendations. But no, he was like, " Well I dont know you so you need to tell me where to cut." I proceeded to show him with my hand but after that I just felt so uncomfortable. More rude comments were made but this post is already super long so Ill just leave those out. After he was done, not even like 15 min later he asked if I liked the length and I told him that I wanted it a little shorter. He then told me rudely, " Well thats not what we talked about." He did cut it a bit shorter but was annoyed about it. He then quickly curled it and showed me to the front and went to the back to proceed with his other clients color. I didnt even know he was done, to be honest, since this whole thing took about 20-25 min, if that. One of the best things I love about getting a haircut is getting my hair washed but he didnt even offer. He told me he only does dry cuts. My haircut was still $55 (and I even left a tip). I dont mind paying money for a good haircut and will gladly pay a good amount, but this was just one of the worse experiences I ever had. Not to mention, when I got home a had a chunk of hair that was so long on my right side, I just had to cut it off myself because I did NOT want to go back and because he told me he does NOT do re-dos. Anyways I hope he isnt like this with all of his clients and maybe I just caught him on a bad day, but I have since then scheduled another appt to get my haircut again elsewhere. I will definitely not be recommending this place to any of my friends or family.

The name of this restaurant is so fitting. What I felt after the softest bread and butteriest butter, the perfect quail, delectable scallops, southern grits, soul-filled sliders, and heavenly cake... was pure Bliss. I treated my boyfriend to a birthday dinner here, and bliss was kind enough to allow me to drop off balloons earlier and set them up for our reservation. My boyfriend always treats me to the nicest places, so I was lucky to find this rare classy gem in San Antonio. I definitely knocked it out of the park by choosing Bliss. He is gonna wife me up! The service was outstanding. When we asked, the waiter informed us of the history of this antique building, which used to be a gas station store of sorts?? and even gave us a small tour of the place after we finished eating. I saw some reviews that the portion size was small, but we left full up! We both snacked on bread and butter (which I have no idea how they made such a simple starter so freaking amazing), and ordered: one appetizer, an entrée for each of us, and dessert because it was his birthday!! That was if anything more than enough food for us. I also really enjoyed the ambiance. It was warm with the brick wall interior, and perfectly lit to see your date and all lovey-dovey. We drooled over each plate and overall it was a lovely date. I paid just under $100 for the both of us. I honestly thought is was going to be more than that, so I thought it was reasonable for a fine dining place. Go, and you wont be disappoint, you will thankful, and your tummy will orgasm, and your date will love you forever.

I have been debating leaving a review or not, i decided i will because i wouod hate for this to happen again to someonelse. I am down to a pixie cut of hair because roslyn took my light strawberry blonde/brown hair and covered it in bleach and put me under the dryer for 30+min. My hair was brittle, breaking off and gummie/stringy when wet. I love the owner and other stylists, however, it is very pricey. Make sure if you do decide to go you ask for step by step instructions while you get your hair done. Roslyn told me "let me go get the COLOR for you", I had no idea she covered me in bleach. Im disappointed because I expect a professional experience. I could have easily ruined my own hair and covered my hair in bleach. Roslyn gave me one moisturizing treatment, then told me she didnt have a phone, and then on top of everything, said it could be worse, it could be cancer! Very unprofessional. Yes hair grows back but I went from shoulder length hair to almost bald because of her! I will never get my hair done again, I am in the process of growing it out, wearing extensions and wigs! Maybe roslyn is used to darker hair? I really dont know, every stylist i have talked to since have told me she could have just done high lights, and that she shouldnt have put me under the dryer! Anyway, I do appreciate Sylvia for speaking to me and refunding me. Be aware and ask questions! I went weeks of being told, it takes time etc etc, well i did try and i ended up spending hundreds of dollars, until I just now had to go down to a very, VERY short pixie.

I use to always go to my neighborhood barbershop, that was before I tried PURE Beauty Bliss. I had first heard of this beauty salon from some of my female friends, then my guy friends! I felt very comfortable coming here, they also offer complementary adult beverages, this was the perfect way to spend my payday. I thought it would be a very expensive, it was only one the most affordable choices I have ever made.
