The atmosphere is clearly the selling point here. It is a cliche urban style barber shop, complete with hop hop music booming and cliche movies starring ice cube, Friday movies etc... Except it was filthy as hell. The floor clearly hadnt been swept in hrs (not good for the steady stream of customers coming through. I was afraid to touch anything. The baseboards where caked with the scum and dander of haircuts past. My son insisted on getting his haircut there, so we continued to await his appointment, which was an hr late. The guy calls for my son who gets his hair cut there regularly. He did not recognize my son. I looked in horror as he led my son to his chair through the unswept area. As he took another 45 minutes to complete the haircut we waited anxiously in the filth for him to complete the job... Which was unremarkable. The atmosphere must be what hooked his impressionable little mind. As my girlfriend went to pay, he (the owner and barber) had the audacity to charge a five dollar appointment fee (I mentioned earlier he was an hr late) and additional two dollar fee for who knows what. We just paid and left as we were just happy to get out without disease. Terrible experience to put it lightly. 2 and a half hrs of my life I will not get back. I see the potential and why people go there. But from what I saw today, they really dont give a rats ass.

Man, does this deserve ZERO STARS! Went in for a cut, and wouldnt you know it, I was a walk in. Second on the list from when they opened at 8:30 it was now 9:15 and still yet to see some clippers. 1 barber took a breakfast break. 1 barber left and 2 more barbers came in from home, low and behold, they sat theyre "homeboys" down in the chair. The barber that assured me at 9 oclock that someone was going to take care of me, sat a freshly walked in guy in his chair and told me "Sorry one of my homeboys walked in" enough was enough and I walked out. UNLESS YOUR GREAT FRIENDS WITH THE BARBERS HERE, DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! THEY DONT HAVE YOUR INTEREST IN MIND, AND DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR BUSY SCHEDULE

Pretty awful overall. Atmosphere felt like it was a strip club. Which is not a good thing at all. Then I told my barber specifically what I wanted. He basically told me he doesnt do that and cut it the way he wanted. Now Im left getting hair cut 2 weeks earlier than I normally do because its so long again. Hes lucky I even paid him. I just wanted to get out of the place so I wasnt going to waste time arguing.

A shop full of barbers and they all go on break so they dont have to cut my boys hair. Ridiculously awful. I came in the middle of a weekday specifically to avoid waiting hours! I walk in and every station is manned. Now all but three have stopped cutting hair. We are the ONLY ONES here and we are PAYING customers! Insane!!

watch barber if you are taking a child in, you might get what ever they feel looks good to them. and it could be crooked as phuck also.Took two nephews in and one was ok and the other was phucked up. messed up razor hairline . I can see why this place is categorized as Beauty Salon and not Barber Shop

My son has had his haircut at razor sharp about eight times,they take their time to get it right.Hes always liked his cut,so wouldnt go anywhere else.It does cost a little more than some hair places,but most barber shops run about the same.#satisfied client#

Was tired of inconsistent cuts on base from AAFES. Just kind of walked in. These guys take pride in their work. Comfortable atmosphere, really low key and basic shop but friendly service. Id suggest these guys to any military working on Lackland.
