Got my car detailed here today. About a month ago purchased their groupon deal for their "Ultimate Paint Sealant (WAX) with Mini Interior Detail" First Ill start off with Im not 100% sure they did a mediocre job because this was a groupon or if this is typical of their service. I was ready and hopeful that they would do a good job after reading all the positive reviews on google, yelp, and yahoo. I have extensive experience with detailing and was hoping they would be good so I could become a regular....Unfortunately they didnt meet my expectations. I preped the car before hand by taking it through a $20 wash to remove the easy dirt. It took them about 2 hours of detailing at the Hand Car Wash. First problem, quality control....Typically everytime Ive gotten a detail done, one of the supervisors check over the car and have a couple of tips for the washers and small touchups here and there. I didnt see this happen until I started pointing out problem areas. First problem was the wheel wells....Completely dirty still...Swipe of my finger brushed off black residue....Next problem was very obvious...Rear diffuser...My car is white so this was very obvious....Still a brownish blackish color....Took a 1 minute wipe down with some solvent to remove the discoloration. Next, mudflaps....still had a thick layer of tar...which again once i pointed out, took a 1 minute wipe down with some solvent. Next is the front bumper....Typically clay bar removes bugs or just some simple bug/tar remover works....They didnt really get the job done...still plenty of bugs on the front of the car and tar on the side of the car....Next problem spot was just general swirl marks everywhere....The supervisor "explained" to me that this is an aftermath of a typical clay treatment...Ive had cars clayed at least 100 times in my lifetime and this was new to me...After the supervisor pointed this out to the washer/detailer, he basically told the supervisor nope, its fine and walked off...So the supervisor started wiping it down...After this, I finally got tired of telling him what else was wrong with the detail after realizing Ill probably have to end up doing some touchup work myself after taking the car home. Its a G37 with dual exhausts and chrome tips....Chrome was still extremely black/dirty....door handles still had grime....inside of the windshield was still dirty...rear license plate, still dirty. Took me 5 minutes of chrome polish to get the tips back to a nice shine and 1 minute of Windex to get the window clean...Plate took a 2 minute scrub down with some tar remover to clean it. I had a $30 tip ready to go, but couldnt find myself to tip the detailer after watching him just walk off when the supervisor was talking to him. I was ready to take my truck in next week for the Big Kahuna but unfortunately cant after this experience. I definitely would not spend $200 on this package and dont even feel that is was worth $89.99 Looks like Ill have to make the 3 hr drive to Houston to have my old detailer keep it clean.

I was considering trading my car in and wanted it detailed just in case. I took my car in for the first time after doing some research online (I wanted the engine cleaned as well, which is one of the add on services). I pulled up and was greeted by a very nice young lady. She asked what services I wanted. As I had not memorized their website, I couldnt quite remember what the name of the package was, so I explained what I wanted cleaned. I told her that I also needed the engine cleaned, and that there was glass in the trunk as well (so the employees wouldnt be alarmed, and that they could take extra precaution if needed). She quoted me $99 which I agreed to. I thought that the package I was looking at online was around $40, and the engine cleaning was an additional $45 so I assumed that the package she had helped me choose was more thorough. I could not have been more wrong. While the wait time wasnt horrid (they were fairly busy so it took about an hour and a half) the end result was NOT worth a hundred dollars. They pulled my car up when it was done and called me over to pay. When I walked up the girl who I had spoken with was wiping the front of my car down as some fluid was leaking out from under the hood (I assume from the engine cleaning). It leaked out again, and again she wiped it. After I paid I popped the trunk to put my bag back in it, and realized they hadnt vacuumed it out at all. While they were doing this, I walked back to the front of my car to see that the fluid was still leaking. I took it upon myself to pop the hood, grab napkins from my glove box, and wipe the engine down where the liquid was coming from. As I walked back to the rear of my car, I noticed that they had not washed it thoroughly as there was still writing on my side window (a friend had used paint markers to write me a message at one time). When I looked on the inside of the car, it appeared that the interior had been quickly vacuumed and just as quickly wiped down without much care. The dash was oily and streaky, the cup holder still had dirt in it, there was still dirt on the seat that was very obvious, and Im pretty sure the windows werent even touched. Now, I know I didnt pay for one of the top of the line washes, but I really feel as though the amount of cleaning that was done was far too minimal for the amount I paid and the wait time. I could have done a better job in my own driveway. I had it washed professionally to ensure it was done correctly. I will most likely not be returning with my new car when its time for her first wash. I almost got the feeling they really didnt care much about how well they did with my car as there were other cars/trucks there that were obviously there for more expensive and higher profit detailing. The only good thing about my experience was the young lady who I spoke with from the beginning (even though Im pretty sure she jacked the price up on me)

The establishment had the appearance of a closed car wash with cars just sitting around the area (not sure if they were employee vehicles or customer vehicles) but the place didnt look inviting. I figured I would continue to drive up because the various reviews made it seem acceptable. I was shocked at how well the website and reviews advertise like this is the best hand car wash place in San Antonio, I strongly disagree. I did decide to give this place a chance. The bad experience started with the drive up and proceeded with a greeting by someone who wasnt very friendly nor inviting and looked at me as if I was lost. When I asked for a basic car wash, the guy looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language. When watching them wash my car, they didnt put much effort into it. 2 minutes later after spraying it with the water hose and throwing a little soap on my car, they called me over and told me it was finished. I clearly pointed out that there were parts on my car not clean and even showed the "guy in charge" how my fingers were black after they claimed they washed my car and he looked at me as if I was making it up and he watched me run my fingers and have them turn black. When I asked them to wash again, all they did was run water on my car and dry it off and then pointed to my door and said they couldnt get that clean. I wasnt concerned about that, but that they didnt clean the car fully and proceeded to insist they did, despite my "tire black" fingers. To anyone considering this place, DONT GO, DONT SPEND YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Research other places or wash it yourself.
