Edit: I have written a new review (5 star) on their Google POTRANCO location page (go check it out!) After hearing about my experience at the Marbach location, customer service went beyond my wildest expectations to make things right & Im beyond satisfied. I would like to thank complaint specialist Michael Mireles & Potranco manager Adrian Martinez for restoring my faith in the Wash Tub. Ill definitely be returning for the kind of service I received on Wednesday! (Original review) I was very hesitant on returning to a Wash Tub. I have purchased the $50 interior cleaning before & left extremely unsatisfied (at more than one of their locations). I remember thinking to myself, fifty dollars and they couldnt even vacuum properly? So I just never went back. Fast forward four years later to today when I finally decided to give in and give them another chance (after weeks of doubts & comparing prices to other places). I was in desperate need of a full interior detail cleaning because Im two weeks shy of having a baby and I wanted a clean car before life became hectic. The supervisor at the Marbach location was extremely helpful and polite right off the bat and immediately eased my worries and concerns. I told him about my past experiences and pointed out what I expected from them (which wasnt much to be honest) and gave in and purchased the $139.99 Complete Interior Detail. I told him I had reservations because of how pricey it was but he reassured me they will continue cleaning it if they didnt do it right the first time around. So two hours later (waiting time wasnt bad at all) my car is done and I realized why the waiting time wasnt bad at all, they once again did a half ass job but instead of $50 down the drain, I was out of $140. I didnt just drive off the lot this time though! I pointed out to the teenage boy who walked me to my car that they didnt vacuum the sides of the seats, the light switch on the roof was still filthy, none of the places they promised "spot treatments" looked clean let alone damp or touched at all. I pointed to the flakes of dirt and dust residue on the door panels and asked if they couldnt remove it and he responded with, "not without damaging it". He actually used that excuse at least three times when I was inspecting the car. Now I feel awful that I had to be THAT customer and make them redo things but seriously, these were easy clean ups that I could do myself if I wasnt pregnant so surely for the price I pay they should have done it thoroughly the first time around. 15 minutes later Im brought back to my car and Im just as disappointed. Yes my car is cleaner than before, yes my car smells good but this was NOT a $140 job. They half ass, once again, "corrected" what they missed. At this point Im exhausted, nine months pregnant and chalked this trip to the Wash Tub as a complete loss. I figured I just wont ever give them my business again and will continue to tell my friends and family not to go to them. So I leave the location and take the car to my fiancés work to get his opinion and thats when I noticed my change from my car is missing (but not the pen or gum or thumb tack that they missed because they DID NOT vacuum under the seats!) one of my cds is cracked and stuffed on the side of my passenger seat, the ash tray was never even opened or touched because trash and dirt was still inside of it, AND there was so much grime left on the door handles and frames that I could easily removed with my sleeve so I know they could have done it themselves. I knew I should have listened to my gut and not gone to them in the first place. Next time Im going to try out Concours Auto Salon off of Fredericksburg. Apparently they are a bit pricier but Ive heard nothing but amazing things. Well, now I know and knowing is half the battle.

To start, I had a coupon to get a full-service package (wash, vacuum, etc) for free for my Mazda 3. I kind of expected a half-baked wash because of the coupon. So how did it go? The wash itself got done relatively quickly. I looked through both their sales pamphlets and then they called on me to say all was ready. I walked out and was pleasantly surprised. It looked NICE. The tires that had some stuck on gunk was completely clean, my interior was spotless, outside squeeky clean. I was impressed. There was a little smudge stuff on my back driver side mini-window (there is the main window that goes up and down, then that bit of class that doesnt move at all but is "part" of the same window) and one section of my seat was very mildly damp. Nothing too bad at all and certainly nothing I cared to get upset about since I got the wash for free. I did ask them to clean the smudge though and they did. This next part will be a good or bad thing for some people. Customer service experience: Now this is a weird thing to guage. There are 3 (actually more, but for the sake of this comparison...) kinds of people. 1. Some people give great customer service, and it comes naturally like they are just always jolly people. 2. Then you have some that are rude and do not care whatsoever. 3. The third kind is what I feel the people at this location fall into. I do not feel super jolly happy-go-lucky is the kind of people they are normally and that is fine, I am not either. I felt like I could easily tell that they were trying to give good service. It is weird to describe, but similar to when someone acts in a show, and when someone tries too hard to act, or over acts. Now while some may find this to be a bad thing, I actually find it to be good. Why is that? Because of the very fact that I could tell that they were trying. In other words, I could see and feel them putting in the effort to give good customer service. I appreciate that. Effort vs effortless. While effortless may be more pleasant an experience, I do enjoy actually seeing the effort being made. I know that might make me sound weird but yeah.... ....I totally liked my experience there. To those who worked on my ride or interacted with me in any ways, I just want to say thank you. I will likely be returning at some point, this time with money and not just a coupon. Keep up the good work and give it your all and you will have a continued customer in me! ^_^

STAY AWAY. Apparently I paid for a membership when I bought my car so I come here every so often. Its always a really long wait but I came today when it wasnt busy. I asked the manager how long it would be for a mini-detail and they told me there was NOBODY else in detail so I would be in and out. An hour and 20 mins later I went around to check on my car after seeing people who came WAY after me leave... For the FIRST time since I bought it NEW 1 year ago, my car suddenly wouldnt start, or so I want told by a rude, portly, dark older woman with ashy knees and elbows named Lisa, who is also a manager... I guess? I dont know. So they asked for my permission to jump it, even though some genius that worked in detail leaned up against the wall was telling me it wasnt the battery, it was most likely the starter, and Hondas have bad relays and blah blah blah. So they jump it for 2.5 seconds and it starts. At this point I just wanted to leave. Then LISA asked very rudely if I paid and wanted to see my receipt, I told her I didnt have it so she called it in to make sure, asking repeatedly why I didnt have it. Then they had me pull my own car around instead of offering an apology for making me wait forever and killing the battery and acting like it was nothing and talking badly about my car. Do not trust these people with your car. They would obviously not admit they were liable if something should happen to your car. I am not a violent person, but in any other circumstance, Lisa would have earned a black-eye.
