I love love love this place! Its located in the Pearl Brewery which is an up and coming cutting edge place....you can find the studio under the giant Pearl beer can (which I find kinda funny) :) So many different kind of classes from yoga to African Dance, I recommend trying them all! Whats so cool is the the studio offers a free week to San Antonio residents, so you get an opportunity to try the classes-as many as you like in your free week!! Nia is so fantastic I just feel amazing after!! And the yoga classes, I can find a challenge in the Yoga For Athletes, or restore myself in Restorative Yoga (on Tuesdays, of which Im a HUGE fan) or Yoga Peace Thru Presence on Thursdays (again, equally yummy class). Im inspired by Esthers classes (mondays/Fridays)...the Pilates classes are awesome and the styles are so different between instructors, which I like too...gives me and my body a different experience. This place is soothing and I like the lavender towels that they offer. I know, no showers, but hey, at least theyve got something to make you smell a teensy bit better :) plus, the towels are heated when its chilly outside...which is yummy also! Talk about fun clothes that they sell too...funky yoga (I have so many shirts!!) the Nia wear is funky and fun...I love my Violet Love headband and my Coobie!! (to name a few...hey, Ive been attending this studio for 5 years, so no wonder my clothing collection is so massive, lol)....yeah, Im a fan!! :) I hope you will be too!

Ive been practicing over a year and a half at Synergy. After visiting several studios across the country, I can say Synergy is one of the most clean and modern facilities Ive seen. I wish they had showers, but their spacious dressing rooms make up for the lack of showers. I have never found the classes to be over crowded which I greatly appreciate. I routinely practice Nia and Hot Yoga. Tricia and Alycia are fantastic Yoga instructors. They are very kind and attentive to the students. All the NIA and Yoga instructors strongly encourage students to listen to their body and respect its limitations. By listening to our body, we heal what needs healing. What I love most about all these classes is that as students we can either take it easy or work our butt off. It’s entirely up to us. There have been days when I walk out extremely exhausted because I pushed my body to its limit, yet other days I walk out feeling extremely relaxed because I took it slow and honored my needs for that day. I love this studio and I am grateful for how the instructors and classes have changed my life. OH! I love that you can buy a membership based on number of classes and they dont expire! Awesome!

Adelle Brewer, owner of The Synergy Studio offers extraordinary experiences. In addition to her very qualified instructors who teach weekly, she brings in some of the top teachers in the world to share with the San Antonio community - yoga, all kinds of dance, transformational breath, drumming, and much much more. Her studio is a welcoming place for everybody... clean, inviting, interesting, and spacious. It even has a gift shop of beautiful clothing, essential oils, yoga supplies, art, and more. There is nothing like it in San Antonio. If you have an adventurous spirit and like opportunities to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally, The Synergy Studio offers all of that, and more! As our city becomes more awake and aware, I believe Adelle is one of a handful of people responsible for ushering in this higher awareness and transformation. And, she does this in a beautiful and accessible way. Open to everybody, it is truly a "come as you are party". Thanks, Adelle... I see you as a woman of great integrity, heart, talent, and humor... a wonderful contributor to our city and to our lives.

The Synergy Studio is one of my favorite places to hang out. I feel so welcome in all their classes, and the teachers are warm, personal, and top notch. They offer so many times in their schedule that it works great with my crazy life, and I dont feel like I lose money when I have to go out of town because the classes dont expire. A great dressing area and hot tea... love the special touches. They also have some great items in their retail area, including Yoga and Nia clothing that are unique. I bought a Yoga mat from the studio and its the best Ive ever used... 100% eco-friendly rubber and thicker. My joints feel good and I dont slip. I recommend taking Nia at the studio... its a blast. They also offer a free week to anyone who lives in San Antonio... very cool. Dont miss this place.

The Synergy Studio where you can find a multitude of wellness programs to meet your needs, connect with a community, feel comfortable, relax and get fit all at the same time. If you want a variety of movement forms...yoga, Nia, Journey Dance, Pilates, drumming circles, hooping, then, this is the place. And if you are looking for body work Reiki or massage you can get it here, too. All of the teachers I have participated with are welcoming and supportive whether it is your first time to step in or a repeat student. The facility is warmly inviting and natural with delicious sprung wooden floors, high ceilings, and in a prime location for post class eats, markets and shopping. I am a repeat happy students since 2009!

I am a regular yoga student here. With different schedules,we have had several instructors the past 2 years - all of them have challenged me as I am an older working woman trying to incorporate yoga into my life. Shannon has also protected me - and other type As- who might overdo . I have so appreciated her constant reminders aimed at helping me slowly and with intention move the poses a level higher . If one wishes to stay at a gentle or beginner level , she makes it absolutely OK . I believe yoga is for all ages - am so grateful to have a place like Synergy to help me practice and learn at my own pace and level with instructors like Shannon , Richard, Lisa , and others .

Started here about a year ago. I moved from midtown memphis and was having trouble finding "my kind" of people in san antonio. It seems as if there are quite a few trendy studios out here. Lots of short shorts and bras running around the gyms. :) Synergy is not that kind of place. I feel very welcome and happy to be there when I can make it. Everyone is super down to earth and glad to see you. All of the classes are fantastic. If you havent tried Nia..do it!! It is an experience like no other. I only wish my schedule wasnt quite so crazy and I could make it to more classes.

This place is amazing! It feels like a sacred home to me. The space itself offers this: high ceilings, beautiful floors, wonderful natural light; and the classes and instructors secure this: theres so many styles and varieties of classes that welcome you to find what suits you best. And they are in the heart of the city! My ideal Saturday morning: bike to the Synergy Studio for a yoga or dance sesh, hit the Pearl Brewery Farmers market after, then walk the Riverwalk admiring all the art installations along this section.
