St James Catholic School is a PreK2 to 8th Grade Private school. My daughter has been going here since PreK4 and is now in 4th Grade. The class rooms have small numbers and the curriculum overall is well rounded. There could be improvement in there Maths curriculum with more hands on learning. The school is a friendly family environment which offers a good rounded education. It also has a close connection with the Catholic Church community which supports and helps the school in its fund raising and supporting the children in all aspects of the school.. The children are taught Spanish Language in Kindergarten and up to 8th Grade. Due to the size of our school our P.E department is limited to our sporting opportunity but Coach Deal teaches the children all aspect of sports including basketball, volley ball and athletics.My only concern I do have is with the English curriculum which I feel needs to be more written practice then copied thus to encourage writing and sentence construction from early on in the school. The school has a good science and technology program.We have a good teaching faculty thats helps to support and encourage all our children from Prek school to the Elementary School and up to the Middle School. As a parent i would recommend St James Catholic School.

St. James Catholic School has provided my children with not only a Catholic education but the best education. The small class sizes provide one on one attention for ensured success. It truely feels like a family at every school function, every mass and every interaction. I cannot say enough how this school has helped with my sons confidence and love of learning. I would recommend anyone who is considering sending their children to this school to attend just one Friday morning mass and watch the children of all ages join hands and hearts in worship. This is not only an inspiring moment but a proud moment for this mom.

My daughter has enjoyed learning from the amazing teachers in her 7th and 8th grade years. She loves learning from her specialty teachers, and librarians, too. This school is a very special place. The business office is filled with incredible people. We wish our daughter was able to complete her high school years at St. James Catholic School! We are going to miss all the great people at SJCS! It is a joy to attend Mass, to listen to Mrs. Allens angelic voice, and all the children singing their hearts out.

We enjoy the family like atmosphere at St. James. The academic level is high and we believe our son will be well prepared for high school. There are many activities for those students that need or want that extra "push" to become better students and better individuals.

This is the first school our 3 year old daughter has ever attended and we love how the entire staff has made her feel right at home, safe and fun. She gets mad when we tell her theres no school today. Great job St. James

Love that both of my children have been able to experience school at St. James. My oldest child started in 5th grade and graduated from the 8th grade. My youngest started in kinder and is still on her journey.
