This place is wonderful. Its clean. The environment is friendly. The schedule is relevant. The curriculum is exceptional. First of all, the staff is amazing. They are honest and so helpful. More than anything, I feel like we work really well together as a team. And, as a busy working mom, it helps to feel confident in my childcare. Irma, the director, really loves the children. Also, Irma is excellent at getting back to me if I have a question. One day I forgot the beloved blanket and she was able to get my toddler to sleep without his blanket. This is a big deal. She has a special gift with children and a gift with easing the hearts of worried moms too. Irma goes the extra mile. She plans neat field trips, fun parties and really engages the children. The place is clean, the kids are busy having fun and the teachers are just right for my toddler. It never feels crowded. The kids get to be kids. Its almost like a daycare in a home setting. For picky moms like me.. With my oldest child, 8 years ago, I looked at 12 daycare centers and then settled on a nanny. Then, I just stayed home. No place seemed perfect. But, this time, with my toddler, I took one visit at this daycare, and I knew I didnt have to look anywhere else. I knew this was the right place for my son. And, as I went back to work full time for the first time in 6 years, I was leaving my "baby" with someone I immediately trusted. It was just that easy. Bottom line. Its a great school. Great care. I am grateful to have found it.

My child has been fortunate to be cared for and extremely loved at A New Day Child Development Center for over a year now. Words cannot express the joy of seeing him light up when he knows we are on our way not only to see his friends but the pure delight he shows at the mentioning of Ms. Irma, Mrs. Gayle, Mrs. Kit & Ms. Norma. This is exactly what I need to be reassured that my child is not only learning beyond my expectations but that he is also being loved all in the same day. It speaks volumes that the purpose and mission of the owner and teaching staff all strive to higher standards than what is required by licensing requirements. They truly care about the quality of education and childcare they provide and they take pride in what they do. It’s important to me to know that my child is progressing developmentally, socially and academically; with a staff that shows each and every child love, compassion and guidance. This is truly a school that is definitely making a difference in our children’s lives and in our community. J

Highly recommend this wonderful daycare - A New Day CDC is a wonderful place for our son (4). Initially, we shopped around for day care and couldn’t be more happy with our choice. Its been a great year and a half! A New Day is an inviting, stimulating, safe, and fun place that he loves to go to. As working parents we worried about finding a place where he would feel at home and still get all the stimulation he needs. He is engaged and excited, and comes home sharing new stories, songs, words, concepts and things he has learned. Apart from this, they also learn good manners, sharing and caring. He loves all the ladies who work there and I always get the feeling that they would do everything in their power to make sure he’s ok. Mrs. Irma and her team are experts, have a great place and they are exceptionally capable, loving and nurturing. I think he has a little crush on Mrs. Kit! He loves it at New Day – our experience has been very positive and I recommend it to everyone I meet who are looking for a place for their kid.

We have been so happy with our 2 year old sons development since he has begun at a New Day. We started our son at a New Day when he was 18 months as we wanted a place where he would continue to receive lots of love, care and nurturing while learning and developing new skills like language, art and music. A New Day offers this balance to children as they get a good mix of structure, activities, play, music, language, the outdoors and TLC all in one day! Ms. Irma is a very creative teacher and always keeps it new and interesting for the kids; our son comes home with a new project every day! What has amazed us is how our sons language has expanded each week too! We feel our son is in a safe, caring and fun enironment where he has the opportunity to learn, grow and make new friends. We are so grateful Ms. Irma moved to Spicewood and is part of our community as she makes such a difference in so many childrens lives. My husband and I highly recommend A New Day!

My daughter is a new student at A New Day Child Development Center and it already is the best move I made for her. She had attended a different school and I was not seeing her growing or learning the way I was wanting for her to. In the first week my daughter is already coming home from school ecstatic to tell me, "Mommie! Today I learned Spanish!" (Which was also a huge plus here at this school.) I see her doing more, learning more and growing more in this week than what I was getting the last two years at her prior school. Irma, the ownder/director of the school has been amazing and I truly feel blessed that I was connected with this school. It is an incredible feeling being able to watch your daughter grow and learn. I believe, having the right school plays a huge part in that. So Thank you, A New Day CDC, for being apart of this adventure in teaching my daughter and watching her grow!

Ms. Irma we love her! Benjamin my Grandson, who Im raising, is at 3 yrs old, a very strong willed child. Weve been with A New Day since November 2009. Infact A New Day has been an answer to my prayers for Ben. He counts, sings his A B Cs, Days of the Week, Months of the Year, Pledge of Alligence, The Lords Prayer, songs, crafts and much more. He even knows some spanish words now. And this from a child who doesnt sit still 2 minutes at a time. He runs, plays, and has all his little friends. He loves to go each day! He even goes to the door by himself said "Bye Nana, see you later". Ben had a rough start but Ms. Irma is loving him through it! I highly recommend A New Day! YNC R. I feel lucky that I found A New Day. Irma and her staff are genuinely loving and have provided a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for my son for almost a year. I enrolled my son when he was 20 months, and almost immediately his vocabulary expanded. The school is small, allowing my child to have a lot of attention and really get to know his classmates. One of the reasons I love A New Day so much is that Ms. Irmas protocols and professionalism always have the best interest of your child. I would recommend A New Day to any parent with the utmost confidence. Leaving your child in someone elses care is a big deal. The sincerity and genuine love the teachers have for their students will make you feel at ease to know they are in a great place.
