I like the staff a lot! They seem to care for the babies. The owner (Jo Ann) is not friendly. If she was the one to deal with my kids, Id pull them out immediately but my kids like the staff. When I first signed up, I was told that Id get 10% off both kids and another 10% off if I paid for the entire month in advance. I signed up and placed my kids in the program only to find out that the manager would not honor the promotion that was written. I had already started my job and had a new baby there so I kept them in but I do not know how long. It still bothers me that she was so rude and doesnt seem to like kids. She is all about the money and not the kids. I do not interact with her as her interpersonal skills are deplorable. I see her seeing this as a good business model but the staff all dislike her but are scared of her. I hope she sees this and fixes the employee and customer perception. Advice to Jo Anna: Honor what is promoted as it only keeps the referrals coming!!! They also feed the kids Frosted Flakes and high sugar content foods. I asked if they were part of the food program by the state and was told that breakfast is a "free for all"! I bring healthy cereal for my son. Paying the price we pay for childcare, youd think the food would be better. Everything is processed food (hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pizza) and nothing is cooked but rather microwaved. We are praying as to whether to move them or keep them there at this point. The childcare providers keep us coming back each week. The staff and childcare providers are great but the manager does not reflect the christian ideals of upholding the promotions offered by the staff. I pray she reads this and understands the weight of her business decision. I will not recommend anyone here and will post this on every review page possible.

We trusted this daycare like family for two years. In August of 2014 my daughter came home with a chemical burn. The daycare denied that it happened there stating that they do not use any chemicals. They were cited in 2012 by the state for having hazardous chemical within reach of children and had to correct the problem to keep from being fined. Now two years later they obviously are doing the same things. When we confronted management about what happened, again they denied everything. I had to take my 20 month old daughter to the ER for 2nd degree burns to her private area. CPS was notified due to the nature of the accident. Upon investigation on the daycare by the state and CPS, beginnings and beyond staff lied to them and told them that my husband has an alcohol problem and that he probably burned her by accident and was blaming it on them. Instead of just sticking with their story that the incident didnt happen there, they decide to tell lies about my husband and my family. We are a good christian family and Im a nurse who works with CPS children all the time. They caused my husband to almost be removed our home and caused us to be put on a safety plan like we were criminals. I have never been so hurt in my life. Its one thing to deny an incident to try and save your business from scrutiny but to lie on a good family and cause hurt and destruction to save yourself... I never would have thought that this daycare who I trusted to care for my kids for almost two years would ruin our lives. If you are smart your will not go to this daycare.

My experience at Beginnings & Beyond has been fantastic. As a mother, it is so important to know that your child is well cared for while you are away, and I have never felt a moments concern. My daughters LOVE going to Beginnings and Beyond during the summer time. What is most appreciated is how much effort the teachers go to in order to care for your child the way that you would at home -- Ive not seen such conscientious personal care. I know that they are not only well cared for, but that they also experiencing critical social interaction with there peers and intellectual stimulation through the learning activities the excellent teachers have plan for the children. But on a personal level, my family has been through many changes throughout the past year and the support and flexibility that Beginnings and Beyond has shown us has made all the difference in the world. We are so grateful to you and your wonderful staff for the personal and professional care you have provided for our girls!

We have had such a pleasurable experience with Beginnings and Beyond! My daughter absolutely adores her teachers and is always excited to tell me about her day when I pick her up! Ms. Joann has literally treated us as good as family and I am truly grateful that my daughter is taken care of by such loving people!! I love the fact that its been the same teachers Ive seen since the beginning so they know us and its great stability for the children. I recommend Beginnings and Beyond 100%!!!!!

Carol is RUDE! Management should have never changed the front desk personnel. She is rude to the children and staff. My kids moved on to another facility down the street and we are much happier! Some of the teachers at Beginnings and Beyond are great and loving but Carol makes everyone miserable.
