It is a pleasure to write this review in favor of Sharpstown KinderCare. Having a fare share of shopping around for our baby’s day care, here’s why we think that Sharpstown KinderCare is a good place for affordable and quality child care: Pros: (1) A very good ratio of teacher to children. Never seen any of them handling more than three or four children at a time. (2) Absolutely no hindrance on sudden visits. We wanted to spend some time with our baby during the day, so visited the place often at different times. Absolutely no surprises! (3) It’s a relatively small place, which may have helped in the efficient management and keep the focus on child care rather than managing a big area. (4) The director(s) are very well connected with the teachers and the parents. We always feel like being part of an extended family there. Undoubtedly, this efficient communication and relationship translates to quality child care and helps in their development. (5) All the teachers, the director(s) and the management stuff work together as a team. We have noticed multiple times how they extend hands of help towards each other while soothing a child (including ours) when the hands of teachers are full! (6) Unlike some other institutions, we never felt this place is enforcing a business model over child care. Our baby was out for a week without prior notice and they seldom refunded half of the tuition fee. Cons: The lighting in the infant room should be controllable and should be down at nap times. To team KinderCare: You guys are doing a good job there. We are grateful to you all for taking good care of our precious! Wish you all the best!

La guarderia Sharpstown kindercare es un lugar agradable, lleve a mi bebe a los seis meses y lo trataron muy bien, el primer dia fue dificil dejarlo pero las profesoras fueron muy pacientes con el, despues, el llegaba siempre contento y aprendio a socializar con los demas ninos, el staff de maestras (Ana, Lorena, Angela, Maripili) son personas muy amables y pacientes, se cumple el ratio de 4:1, la directora Martha se encarga que todo funcione correctamente. El mejor referente es ver que los ninos juegan y estan contentos.

This facility is great to the naked eye. My children were enrolled in the facility for 6 months and I have had endless incident reports of my child being assaulted by another child. This other child (Johnathan) has bitten my daughter 6 times and they refuse to remove him from the daycare. The staff is negligent and do not own up to any of their faults. The same employee who stated of how great the facility maybe has done a couple of questionable things. She aggressively snatched toys out of my toddler sons hand while he was playing. When asked why she did it? She lied even though I seen her with my own eyes. I finally realized this daycare is a complete nightmare and my child shouldnt be victimized on a daily basis so I removed all 3 of my children.

I have been employed at this KinderCare for a couple of months. This center is on the rise, under the direction of the new center director. Positivity is spread throughout the each classroom, each employee, each parent, and each student. The curriculums are being used in every class room including the infants. Students will be well equipped to succeed in school after leaving the preschool program. We also have a great after school program.

The staff there now is cool, but they switch staff so often that sometimes there isnt enough teachers, and kids go without learning. Tuition is too expensive for the kids not to be learning most of the time. Very diverse thought.
