When we first started the staff and directors were AMAZING!!! When Michelle became the director things went down hill so quick and didnt improve over the next 3-4 months until we left. If you value your childs or kids safety, DONT COME HERE! Michelle feels uncomfortable making executive decisions during stressful/intense times. TWICE during the flooding she decided to wait until water was flooding the building and the road almost impassable in front of the daycare before alerting parents - then she was the first to leave!!! Her assistant director Kirsten doesnt care about the kids, which is evident in her attitude - she was overheard saying she wasnt there for the kids, she was only there for the higher position so she didnt have to deal with the kids. Every time I approached Michelle about concerns or issues she immediately started off by saying, "I have no idea what youre talking. I dont know who wouldve said that. I never said that." EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. She always blamed the previous teachers for anything that happened and even called them all liars to my face! These were the teachers who took care of my son up until she came on board and they were great - kids acted with manners and respect and they all loved the babies... All these teachers were Harassed to the point that they finally left because they were so miserable. I understand a transition takes a little time to set in and get everyone settled down but after 3 months the older kids should not still be running around like crazy and doing whatever they want or using foul language to the teachers with no director to be seen to assist the teacher as there was always only 1 teacher to more than 15 kids at a time. Michelle was never there in the morning until late and was never there at the end of the day. You could not rely on her as she is not fit to be a director. I was not the only parent to wait it out, many people left due to the change and it only getting worse the longer Michelle was there.... Oh and dont speak up with your concerns to Michelle. She will save some of your checks and deposit them at least a month late after youve already left to spite you and screw you over financially. Very petty thing to do, Michelle. But, corporate refunded my money so for that Im thankful but then screwed up my address on the refund so Im back to square one with them. The whole point of this long-winded rant is DONT GO HERE!!! FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! We stayed as long as we did because my son was still an infant and knew and trusted his infant teacher whom we all loved as well. Save your money and find a different daycare. You will be so happy, and your child/children will be safer in that decision.

So my son has been going here now for 8 months and we love it the Teachers and Directors are absolutely amazing. Being a single mom I dont like leaving my son with people and at first when he started he would cry for a few hrs but now he walks in and doesnt even tell me bye its a relief to know that your child is completely safe and they can him up before he comes home I love the wood river kindercare location , they are helpful and easy to talk to and turn from dropping your child off to strangers to dropping your child to family members I plan on keeping him here as long as possible!

My child has been going to this school for a while and BOTH DIRECTORS are amazing!! The teachers are so sweet to my little one and she has learned so much. I am amazed at what my child rambles about when i pick her up. I can obviously see the teachers really pay attention to her and talk with her. Miss Michelle and her assistant director are so sweet and makes my child and family feel welcomed.
