I have mixed feelings about this studio. On one hand, their service is amazing (they remembered me after only one class) and their studio is beautiful and super clean and welcoming. This is probably one of my all time favorite studios I have seen. That said, their classes, particularly their Hot 90 classes, are very strict about their postures. They dont really leave room for modifications to allow you to personalize your yoga experience. I even had one instructor say that a modification would be "cheating" in a pose. If you dont do the pose the exact way they want you to, they will call you out by name in front of the class, which is annoying and kind of embarrassing. Its also a fairly expensive studio all things considered, but thats hard to compare since there are no other heated yoga studios in the area. But classes in the downtown/midtown/heights area will run you $70-100 for an unlimited month of classes and $30-40 for a one-month trial. This studio charges almost $200 for an unlimited month and $90 for a one-month trial. (Note: There is a $120 option for recurring clients, but that requires a long term commitment. There was also a $31 for 31 days promo that recently passed.) This studio also doesnt offer as many classes or classes as often as studios across town. Again, it is hard to compare since there are no other heated studios in the area, but it is something to keep in mind. I have about another week in my trial period and Im still on the fence about whether or not I will continue my practice here. Im sure I will return at some point in time (especially since there are no other heated studios in the area), but I doubt I will get another unlimited pass.

My first experience with hot yoga was at big power yoga, which is a flow class, (amazing classes and studio) in Houston. I was hooked. However, it was just such a far drive. I found express hot yoga and spa and gave it a go. I went to the woodlands mall and searched and searched only to finally figure out they moved. Finally got the right place and the facility is very nice however it isnt like most yoga studios. Theres this kind of ambience that most yoga studios have that relax you and feel welcoming. This studio just didnt feel that way. I also didnt like the fact that the instructor in the class told me I could only take a drink of water when she says and to make sure I stay in every position. Yoga to me is for me and not anyone else and it just felt too strict. It is a nice facility and a good work out, but not quite what I was looking for in particular. I go to pod yoga now and they have exactly what I was looking for! Also Ive tried twice to unsubscribe from express hot yoga spa email list and it tells me Ive saved my preference changes after Ive clicked all the unsubscribe boxes but I keep getting emails from them.

Express Hot Yoga at the Woodlands Mall is outstanding. Everyone is so kind and patient and the instructors are absolutely wonderful. Im (soon to be) 65, way out of shape (stuck behind a desk working on a computer 70+ hours a week for 40+ years) so this is not easy for me, but Im determined. Its nice the way the folks linger after class and like to share: their "first time" experiences, how it takes 5-6 classes to get used to the heat, take your time and listen carefully to the instructions, dont wipe the sweat away, pay attention to your body, take time to do the postures correctly, make sure you hydrate well before and after class, slowly but surely youll see improvement every day. Its all true and Im stuck on Express Hot Yoga!!! Just completed my 8th class and have signed up for one year. The instructors are experts, compassionate and ready to take you through each of the 26 postures correctly, the same way each class. Its AWESOME!!!

This is one of the best Bikram yoga studios I have visited in the world! As a yoga junkie, I always try to find a Bikram yoga studio no matter where I go. Ive practiced Bikram yoga in Japan, Thailand, Italy, France, Hong Kong, Canada and many US cities. - Awesome staff and teacher. I bumped into a yoga teacher Bill who is so passionate about yoga - Excellent website: so much useful information! Online registration, class schedule, reservation, directions, tuition - The express yoga is an efficient way to exercise the body. None of the Bikram yoga studios in San Francisco where I live offers express classes. I get a great workout without too much time commitment - Fantastic facilities. I cant believe how spacious and clean this yoga studio is. Two thumbs up!

The classes are great. Instructors are top notch for sure. I would give it 5 starts but website was confusing. When I signed up it showed that there was a location at The Woodlands Mall that offered daycare. The Woodlands Mall location doesnt exist anymore. They do offer daycare at the new location on Sawdust but only for the 9:30 am class. Dont do like I did and sign up assuming daycare is offered for multiple classes. To the website owners- make it more clear that the new location replaces the old mall location and list the specific time daycare is offered.

I felt really lucky when a friend introduced me to hot yoga in The Woodlands. I thought I wouldnt support the heat, but after a couple of minutes I had no problem with the warm room. It was actually easier to do yoga in a warm room because the muscles were loving it! The ambiance at both studios in The Woodlands were over the top! Very welcoming and friendly. The instructors remember your name and carefully look at you and advice you in the beginning. I absolutely love it!

Best way to change your body and calm the mind. Going for more than a year, and I love it. Caring and attentive teachers who can work with students at all stages. They provide very "do-able" modifications for those getting back into shape, really is a work-out that caters to all ability levels, sizes and shapes.
