Where do I start.... My son started at La Petite Nov 19, 2012 on his 6month birthday. I had tried another daycare with him previously when he was 4 months which lasted 4 days ending with him catching some sort of skin bacteria. When I began my search for a new daycare I stumbled on La Petite. With it being a franchise I hoped my luck would be better and boy has it been!!!! When I called to check the availability and set up to come visit a lady by the name of DD answered with the most welcoming voice. She encouraged me to come in and to bring baby Josiah so that he could get a good feel as well. I went to visit when I got off of work and immediately fell in love. The cleanliness, organization and home feel was exactly what I was looking for. Although Ms. DD was gone for the day Ms. Lisa was there to assist with the same welcoming attitude. She took my ID and walked me to the baby room. This is where I then met Kayla!! She is the baby room teacher and I adore her! She gives the babies so much attention and love. She gets down on the floor and plays with them and even cuddles! With my son being an only child, one of my fears was my son being left in a swing all day not getting enough attention but Kayla makes sure each baby gets all the love she has to give along with daily activities that helo their motor and cognitive development. I never have to worry about his items not making it home. Kayla repacks his bag right on the spot and makes sure everything is just as i brought it! They also have daily logs that tell you exactly what your child did the entire day. How many diaper changes, bottles, snacks and what activities they did. She also is very knowledgable when it comes to advice. My son had diaper rash she recommended a particulary cream, I being a first time mommy, ran out and bought it that night. Within two days the rash was gone. My son is now teething, he was very restless, she recommended teething tablets he slept the whole night! She always has an uplifting spirit and attitude every single day. The day we went to "visit" we ended up staying an hr talking to kayla as she played and interacted with Josiah and the other babies as we observed! When I saw the way she handled the babies and Josiah I knew I had found the right place. Shanequa also works in the baby room, she is there in the mornings when I drop him off. She also is awesome! Josiah was placed on a nebulizer (breathing treatment) a month after starting at La Petite. I was so worried about them being able to handle him because he would scream and fight to not have it on his face. lol When I dropped Josiah off I was explaining to her he needed it every four hours, her response was, "Great! I am on the breathing treatment as well...we can do them together!!" When I picked him up that day I asked how it went she informed me Great! She said instead of strapping the mask on hold it in front of his face and let him play with the strap. I tried it when i got home and he sat there like an angel the entire treatment! I thought I had found a little piece of heaven! Ms DD is the mother goose to La Patite, everyday I go to pick up Siah, she is hugging, playing or laughing with a child and their parent. The connection she has with each parent and child is amazing! The atmosphere is beautiful! As you can see my short journey here with La petite has been wonderful! I can not think of one complaint. Im so glad I gave it a chance and didnt let my first experience ruin my thoughts on daycare. DD, Lisa, Kayla, and Shanequa. THANK YOU :)

When we moved from Southeast Houston to Spring one of my concerns was where was I going to take my baby that he could get the same nurturing care that he received from his last daycare. I did not like corporate day care because I felt like we would not get the same care as an individually daycare but my thought for that changed the moment we walked in the door. I felt like I walked in to one of my family members home. I am normally a good judge of character and as always, I was not wrong.I love the fact that at 1 year old, my son has a curriculum and he is doing age appropriate activities. His teacher is awesome and very compassionate .It is rare that a 1st choice is the best choice and in this case,it was!

I recently toured this location and I was very impressed with the classroom environment and all the class activities that were posted. It showed me that the teachers were interacting with the children, I was also impressed with all the knowledge that the gentleman offered me throughout my tour. His welcoming attitude helped my decision in enrolling my 4 year old son, for the new school year. I do have to say that I was a little over whelmed with the great amount of kids in classrooms that were opened but didnt understand why there were closed rooms. Even though it was a little to much, Im hoping this matter can be fixed before I make my final decision to enroll my son.

My two daughters have attended La Petite Academy since October 2010 and LOVE,LOVE LOVE coming to school everyday!! My 3 yr.old loves her teachers and always comes home bragging on what fun things she did!! And my 2 yr. old has expanded her vocabulary sooo much in just the last few months!! We have since moved 35 minutes away from the Academy and I still cannot find myself to take my babies away from the wonderful staff at La Petite Academy!! There like family!--Rachel--

Its very unprofessional hiding the amount of tuition on website and troubling parents to call for knowing the rate. I came across this childcare through google and i was getting interested, and I just stoped looking at their page by facing the hidden tuition . This is sneaky. In the overal look there should be information about how much their rate is.

During the last six months my daughters have been attending to La Petite Academy and have always enjoyed it. Especially my two year old daughter who has improved her social, speech, and basic math knowledge. Thanks to the caregivers personel and La Petite Academy learning program. Stay always improving.

My son has gone to La Petite for 8 years. Yes, I said 8 years. Since he was a baby. He had severe separation issues as a baby and toddler and the staff was great in helping us through it. They have an awesome curriculum and always help with homework. They treat you like family.

My daughter and I love this school. At the age of 2 1/2 -3 she was already learning spanish, counting to 13 and knows her ABCs. Yes the teacher turn over rate is a little high. (We have been there for 8 months and she has had 2 different teachers) The staff is wonderful.

Im currently looking for a daycare and I came across La Petite Academy. I did a walk through today and spoke with the owner. She is very nice and helpful. I really like this place and I would be very comfortable with my son going here.
