Austin Dominguez

Super big on acceptance and preaching about "Lunks," who are apparently people who are dedicated and look good, but according to planet fitness, make noise, show off, and make a general annoyance of themselves. No squat racks or places for bench press (replaced with Smith machines, which are notoriously awful), so definitely would not recommend if you want to start a dedicated routine and really get in peak physical shape. Plenty of treadmills though. Good pricing though, if you sign up for a year, you can pay half of what you do at other gyms per month. The staff, however, is fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and the only reason I give three stars rather than two.

Rude. The guy at the front desk was rude, he snatched my keys from me to scan me in. (Apparently I cant scan myself in like I can at my home gym) inconvenient when there is no one at the desk. I only wanted to tan tonight and he kept demanding to know how long I wanted to tan but I kept asking what kind of bed is it (I burn in stand up beds if Im in there more than 5 minutes) he kept saying bed three. I finally had to say Ive never been here i dont know what bed three is. There was no cleaner in the room so I had to go find some. By the time i got the bed clean it had started didnt even have time to get undressed

Express Workout is always being interrupted by people that dont know how that area works. Staff Excuse, "lot of new people." Sign for Express Workout is not visible, one employee never even knew about the sign showing what the area is for. Always see bags laying around which are trip hazards, also people on the phones talking loudly over the gym noise. Rules are posted but not followed staff doesnt pay attention. Other member just have to deal with it. Very annoying. I quit for a while but went back, turns out same problems.

I called to get information for canceling my membership. The staff member who answered the phone had no idea what he was talking about and just babbled the entire time. He finally put me on the phone with the manager. She was rude and completely unwilling to help. She wouldnt even give me the number to a different location. After calling another location, I found that she could have helped with what I needed. Which was simply transferring my "home club" so I could walk in and cancel my membership.

I come at all hours of the day and its literally always clean. Wish there was a legit squat rack but squatting on the smith machine has given me great results! I always feel welcomed and havent had a bad experience since I started almost a year ago. And love how I can workout as I travel as well! Thanks planet fitness ❤

I have been to every location in Austin and I am visiting this area for a couple days. This one surpasses every location in Austin by far. Honestly not even in the same league. Loved this location and I am not even a fan of Planet Fitnesses, but this one is closest to a Golds feel you can get. Great job

Great atmosphere and spacious. The staff is always helpful. Only thing negative I have to say is my wife thinks its too cold sometimes and takes longer to get a sweat going so we wear a long sleeve t shirts which I dont mind! I told her its better than no air at all... LOL...

Its like any gym when it comes to certain times. Morning crowd much more quiet more machines available. Night crowd more alive a lot more packed but can still get a great workout in. Very clean place staff is always friendly. Love coming here.

good value, cold A/C, clean, although they need more weight training space. Its always overcrowded & you look around & there is tons of room not being used.
