UNPROFESSIONAL: No one is manning the front desk, employees are clearly "out of shape" by their personal appearance (coming in eating burritos at an athletic facility-large people "teaching" kids by their lovely example), yelling at kids in a disrespectful way when they needed to be reprimanded, kids are running around all over the place with no full time supervision from gymnastic center staff (I understand this was "open gym", but there was clearly many kids there that were supposed to be under the supervision of the gym staff, and the gym staff was only visible a few times. I had to implement a rule system to a large group of kids who were stealing the joy of my four because they were taking over by yelling obscenities, blocking the flow of things, or just plain cutting right through like bullies because they were "regular class takers" and thought it was owed to them. The majority of the many kids that were there were plain rude. Whos teaching these kids, anyways? How about expecting rule following, taking turns, being considerate and respectful and kind? :/ DIRTY: Yuck. The mirrors all over the walls here were disgusting- looked liked they havent been cleaned in a year, very gross-I didnt want to touch anything after seeing how gross they looked, and I dont expect perfection in the cleanliness department! There were broken/cracked mirrors (big ones) all over the place. Some were covered with pieces of cardboard, some were covered up with pieces of tape, some were just plain exposed in perfect reach of children. We took one class about a year ago here, and vowed to never come back. It was a totally different turn off then. The instructor that was teaching the class my kids were in was not very good at her teaching position (in my opinion). She snapped at the kids (and my kids are good listeners, generally very attentive kids, at least when someone else is talking!), she made them feel like they werent performing optimally (and this was their first class), she was real "hard" voiced person, but not in a "solid teacher, I respect you" kind of way, more like inexperience in how to deal with children in a respectful/mentoring-teaching kind of way. I dont remember exactly the other details, I just remember the kids did not want to come back to her class, and I never wanted to return to this place. Unfortunately, we did. When we left, we went, "what the heck just happened there?" They seem to lack class here, for sure. We will be moving on to a different gymnastic center for other fun outings (or classes) like this in the future. When I parent my kids (or interact with any others), I treat them with respect, genuinely listen to them, try to pass on the best wisdom I can in whatever we are doing at the time, and most of all, I teach them to NOT be rude to others, to be kind, respectful and thoughtful of other peoples feelings (....and not to take any crap :) And dont teach by yelling at them in a demeaning way. But in this place- that concept was LOST. This place seems like a "clicky" place thats kinda stuck on themselves.......I should not judge or assume, but this is an opinionated review, and you wanted to know, right? Enough of my rambling, if you do choose to patronize this place, dont get caught up in the clicks, be ready to parent other peoples children, caution your children about possible bad teaching and rude kids, and for goodness sakes, wash your hands when you get home, because its kinda dirty in there :) Blessings :)

I absolutely LOVE WGC! They have been incredibly welcoming to me and my family. My children cant wait to get here and beg not to leave. The staff continue to impress me and the owner does a great job offering training opportunities to continue to improve the program. I have worked in gyms in 3 different states and am a highly trained competitive and preschool coach myself. I can say without a doubt in my mind that WGC rocks! Kids learn new skills everyday and the whole gym cheers them on. This is a kid center, positive place to bring your kids. The team girls all take advanced classes in school even though they work out over 15 hours a week! They are teaching these kids about dedication, hard work and sacrafice. Plus, the rates are incredibly competitive! You wont find a better gym in south DFW!

This is not the first gym weve been in with our children. We left another local gym because they seemed to only be concerned about their competive cheer and competive gymnastic students. We do rec gymnastics for now. As soon as we walked in the door we were treated like we were just as important as the competive students. There are a lot of class options for rec gymnastics and the instructors we have had have all been very friendly and kind. They are great about evaluating and moving the students forward when they are exceeding the current class abilities. I have had great communication with the staff through phone calls and emails and have never been left hanging like at our previous gym. Great experience all around!

If you dont pay on time, they drop your kids from the class regardless if your own job has you busy. Then I was told you can pay on-line which nobody stated to us when we first enrolled our kids but yet, they say, "well we give you a pamhlet and its on their." What pamhlet? I never got one!!! Then they place your kids in with other children who are well advanced. Oh, and if you miss two classes your only allowed one make-up regardless of what the situation maybe and as far as return emails or phone calls, forget. Dont waste your time or money on this place!!!

My kids are constantly moved teacher to teacher. Seems they cant keep coaches. Also they constantly have their teams practicing while other non team classes are going on and they take all the equipment while other just get to play on the mats in the corner. Manager is rude and unhelpful......dont waste your time or your kids time

My daughter actually lost skills instead of gaining skills while we were with this gym. We were never happy with the instruction, and the owner was very rude on several occasions.

I sent my daughter here for a camp and it was one of the best decisions of the summer. They are so nice and always greet with a smile.
