I have been to Costa Vida 3 times including yesterdays experience (once to the one in Orem and twice to the AF one) and I have gotten different things each time. Every time there has always been 1 or more things wrong with my order. Yesterday I was in a rush for lunch and I really wanted a Cafe Rio salad but didnt have time to wait in their line. I decided to give Costa Vida one more shot and I went through the drive thru in American Fork. I ordered a chicken salad with the tortilla on the side (I like to shred it up and toss it in) and a torilla soup- NOT A COMPLICATED ORDER. When I got back to work I had A) No tortilla and B) no dressing. So I couldnt even eat my salad. Waste of money. I went to eat the tortilla soup and it was bland and cold- and it only takes about 5 minutes to get from the drive thru to my work so there is no reason it should have been cold. So that went in the trash also. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Costa Vida. Your service and food has always been awful and I am sorry to see it still is after 2 years of not eating there.

I used to LOVE this place!! We used to eat here once a week. I have Celiac Disease and love their gluten friendly options. However, things have gone down hill lately. Im not sure if they have new management or what but they are ALWAYS out of corn tortillas. I would say at least 75% of the time we go, they rudely say they are out for the day. So I am left with one option, eating a salad with no tortilla but still paying the same price. I asked to speak to the manager about it yesterday and he refused to speak with me. The young girl he sent to "take care" of me was very nice and understanding but all she could do is offer me a free meal card. We will be finding somewhere else to eat.

We sat in the drive through for over 15 minutes. They took the orders in front of us but wouldnt take ours. They said they were closed even though we were in line long before closing and the car in front of us ordered after ten oclock. Where do you draw the line? Either stop taking orders at ten on the dot or at least send someone out to tell all the poor cars waiting close to a half hour they are going to be turned away when they finally get to the window. Bad bad bad business to turn business away like that. Be fair and conscientious of those who got in line at 9:30

They consistently get out orders wrong here. Food is good, but the last time they gave us queso instead of beans, they didnt give us our drinks or salad dressing. I tried knocking on the window to get their attention but they just stared at us from inside and didnt open the window. Eventually someone else came and we told them they forgot our drinks (we didnt notice the other issues till later) which they did correct to their credit.

The only reson you got one because the staff was great. The food how ever was disgusting I had a steak burrito the steak was soggy I know I didnt think it could either my boyfriend got the chicken burrito that was dry and to much seasoning.the beans taisted old and the rice was nasty the wrap was soggy as well. I will never come back. Not because of the service because they were great but the food sucked

Went to costa vida and got a pork salad with black beans along with my sister we both ended up with food poisoning. I ended up in the hospital. I just found out that a friend a few months ago was here and got the same thing and she ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks! The health dept contacted costa and obviously nothing was done! Do not eat the black beans no matter what you do!!!!

Good food, pretty good service. The lines at lunch can get pretty long, but that is most places these days. Staff is sometimes a little too busy to be superb, but for the most part they do a pretty good job. Chips and Queso are pretty dang good here. If you get a burrito, you wont have room cause they are huge. But if you order something light, give em a try...

I think theyve gotten my order wrong every time. Ive kept going back for the convenience of a drive through, but I wont be anymore. I waited in line for a while today, ordered a small grilled chicken salad, no tortillas, no pico, black beans. I got home, and they gave me a sweet pork salad, with tortillas, with pico, and pinto beans.

First time I went to this location I waited in the drive threw for over 30 mins, I got home realized they didnt give me dressing for my salad. I called them and they gave me a free meal to make up for it. Went back a week or so later and got home was eating and found 2 huge long hairs in my food! It was disgusting.. will not go back!

Oh my gosh, the staff were so nice to us, and my kids loved the food! My kids tend to be picky, and they ate their food very fast. The Watermelon Aqua Fresca was so good, and I love that it was a healthier option to soda. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. All in all, a great experience!

I love this Costa! I work across the street from here, so I tend to eat at this location often! They are always so friendly to me and make sure that I have a great experience when I walk in! Thank you guys for being so friendly! I would recommend the American Fork Costa to everyone!

Service was fast and friendly, food tasted good and the restaurant (including the bathroom) was clean. Someone working there came up to us and asked us how our food tasted, which was nice. Business was slow, so I cant say too much about whether experience quality suffers when busy.

Very attentive staff. Went there today to order 3 burritos for the family. No wait time at all. Everyone there said hello to me and made me feel very welcome. Food was excellent! Their sweet pork is the best around! My family and I will definitely be coming back!

The food was good. It was busy when we went and they mixed up our order. They gave us someone elses dish. They found out the error before we started eating and we got a free dish because of the mix up, but I would rather have the order right the first time.

I have been a big fan of Cafe Rio for years and never bothered to try Cafe Rio. But I did today and was very pleasantly surprised. The steak Burrito was very good. The grilled Steak was very flavourful and was great. I may have been converted to Costa Vida.

small wait time --- terrific service. Fresh and delicious. Great for larger groups and families. Add the "fajita grilled veggies" to any meal! You can also make the salads Whole 30 friendly -- omit rice, double beans, double pico, no dressing. Yum!!
