WORST EXPERIENCE EATING OUT I HAVE EVER HAD! I TOOK MY GRANDKIDS THERE FOR DINNER TONIGHT! WITH ONE PERSON AHEAD OF ME I SPENT 25 MINUTES THEIR BEFORE I COULD ORDER MY MEAL. THE CASHIER WENT LOOKING FOR SOMETHING AND NEVER CAME BACK. ABOUT 25 MINUTES AFTER i ORDERED THEY CALLED US UP TO GET OUR FOOD BUT WE GOT THE FOOD LESS THE CHICKEN. THIRTY MINUTES LATTER WE GOT A FEW PIECES OF BURNT BLACK DRIED OUT CHICKEN BUT THEY STILL OWED US 2 CHICKEN BREASTS AND AT THIS POINT WE WERE DETERMINED TO SEE IF WE COULD GET OUR FOOD. AFTER ANOTHER 25 MINUTES WE ASKED THE CASHIER HOW LONG IT WAS GOING TO TAKE AND SHE TOLD US THERE WERE A LOT OF PEOPLE AHEAD OF US AND WE WOULD GET IT WHEN THEY COULD. AFTER 5 MINUTES I ASKED TO TALK WITH THE MANAGER AND SHE HEARD ME AND SAID SHE COULD NOT LEAVE THE GRILL AND STATED SHE CAN ONLY COOK CHICKEN SO FAST. I THEN ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK FOR THE 2 PIECES OF CHICKEN AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME I WOULD GET MY CHICKEN AND COULD NOT GET MY MONEY BACK. FINALLY AFTER 10 MINUTES THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK ON THE 2 PIECES OF CHICKEN I NEVER RECEIVED. AFTER 10 MINUTES OF THE CASHIER PLAYING WITH THE CASH REGISTER SAYING SHOULD COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW AND THE MANAGER STILL NOT BEING ABLE TO LEAVE THE GRILL I LEFT WITHOUT MY MONEY OR CHICKEN. I SPENT OVER 2 HOURS TRYING TO GET MY ORDER BUT NEVER GOT A COMPLETE MEAL. IT IS FUNNY THAT ALL THE PEOPLE THAT CAME IN AFTER US MANAGED TO GET THEIR MEALS BEFORE US. I DO NOT THINK THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE WAS A COINCIDENCE SINCE EVERY PERSON THAT CAME IN AFTER US WAS SPANISH PLUS THE ENTIRE STAFF AND MANAGER WAS SPANISH. I THINK IT IS EL POLLO LOCOS WAY OF SAYING ONLY SPANISH PEOPLE ARE WELCOME!

This location in Lehi does sooo many things right. The chicken is perfect, everytime. Hot, flavorful, moist... The beans are perfect, the broccoli is never rubbery or overcooked, and comes out STEAMING hot. The tortillas are warm but not dried, and the Salsa bar is always fully stocked, routinely stocked and routinely cleaned. Best part is the service, the manager Grant (funny how you remember someones name when they treat you right) makes you feel like you are welcome anytime, and "if you have a problem with anything, you let me know," he knows what he is doing. I came in late at night once, they clean EVERYTHING, the break the entire kitchen down, friendliest service, best tasting food, GREAT value, good green salsa, horchata, the whole nine yards. Excellent service, thanks! I have come in probably 6-8 times into this Lehi location during my lifetime, consistent and perfect, the same every time.

I just may have an addiction to this restaurant...ha ha, just kidding, but seriously. I come here about every week. The food is fresh and healthy. Im on a low carb diet, which means goodbye fast food, hello El Pollo Loco, which incidentally does have a drive thru window. Their chicken is amazing. Sometimes it will be dry, but just let them know and theyll switch it out for better pieces. Love their salads, they have a large selection of sides that includes a yummy salad and even broccoli. They have a bar for salsa, lemon, chili peppers, onion, and cilantro. My kids love coming here, too. I get them the childrens quesadilla and my son loves to get their mac and cheese. I also love their zero lemonade. Like I said, great restaurant for dieters and diabetics! My fiancé likes getting to order we quesadillas while I order healthier foods. Something for everyone.

Very un-impressed with the food. It was just the deal of the day that we got for our only time ever going here, but it was just very greasy not particularly flavorful chicken. Did I mention that the chicken was very greasy? Oh yeah. Nothing spectacular about this place. About what you could expect from fast food, but a little more greasy, and less flavor. No big issues with customer service -- that was standard for fast food. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but unfortunately, their first impression on me will also be their last.

Honestly i had forgotten about this place and went in with a coupon today. The food was VERY tasty and the service was EXCELLENT!!! They have Vitamin water on tap so I had a non-carbonated drink i love! I will defiantly not forget about this place again and plan on going back regularly for lunch coupon or not. Its so hard to find a place you can go in for lunch that is quick, Healthier than most fast food places, tastes great and has great employees/Customer service. Thanks El Pollo Loco!! I will be back!

Ive been going to this great chicken place for 25 years in California and Los Vegas. I cant understand why different chains start in Utah county? Salt lake county is a bigger mkt. We drove 30 miles mouths drooling. We found it to be clean,food fresh and cooked just right. Problem was it didnt taste like the other locations, Very bland like not marinated well and no seasoning on anything. Is it all tamed down for the Utah ?. Its not to spicy or hot anyway whats the deal, Ill wait until I go to vegas

Visits to El Pollo Loco has been a highlight of my visits to Vegas and SoCal for many years. They make the best chicken ever! The marinade soaks it with deliciousness and the flame grilling seals it all in. The sides of rice, pinto beans and corn tortillas are my favorites. There are few things better than rolling up some chicken, rice and beans in a tortilla and chowing down. MMMMmmmmmmm!!!! I seriously LOVE this place!

Food is good. All their chicken is cooked over flames on a grill. The black beans are very good. Service there was fast and friendly. I came across the street from another chicken place with almost no service, a line almost out the door where after waiting in line at least 10 minutes, I was going to need to wait about another 15 minutes for chicken. El Pollo Loco is a great place! I am so glad I stopped there.

Pretty good in flavor. But one HUGE thing is missing: Horchata water! They do not have it. FYI all locations in CA, even the one in Saint George has Horchata water. Customer service is terrible, workers are always yelling each other and slaming furniture. Managers a clown he believes because he speaks spanish hes way too cool, but unable to resolve any issue.

This place is so good! I absolutely love the BBQ black beans as my all time favorite. The service was quick and they were so friendly. El Pollo Loco is a great place to go if you are feeling Mexican food and they have a great selection to make a picnic from it. Yumm! Try the black beans and youll fall in love too. :o)

Worst food Ive ever had. I seriously thought I might get food poisoning. If you dont mind about eating in quite literally the dirtiest restaurant Ive ever been in, then you might actually like their bland food. Its sad really, because when they first opened, they werent bad. But its just gone down hill from there.
