Disappointed, I dont normally write reviews but I cant help but write this one. I was excited to try this place because it looked better quality. The environment was outstanding. The marketing of the food was great too! The employees were super friendly and helpful. We Got our sandwiches to go and eat in the car with our very active toddler. We each tried half of the others sandwich and both hoped the other one was better. (My poor husband got the worst one) I took a bite of it and literally gagged. The pickles on it made the bread overly soggy and the flavor of the sandwich was not good. My sandwich was dry and I choked it down. The flavors were not good. I think there was bacon on my sandwich but you could not tell at all because the dry fatty chicken overpowered the whole sandwich. We did not have enough water to wash down the sandwich. We did not finish the sandwiches. I remember enjoying a chicken sandwich from the school cafeteria more. We tried a bite of the brownie and were disappointed again. It seemed grainy and not cooked all the way. My husband literally started throwing up when we got home and several hours later I began throwing up. The worst place I have ever eaten, extremely disappointed in the money that We spent there.

Super fresh, exciting menu. For a large salad, the Crazy Ivan, I paid $10.15 and I got about 2 oz of chicken breast. I would expect at least double that, especially because the menu claims there are 44 grams of protein in a large salad. As someone who routinely weighs food and counts macros, I can confidently say this number is grossly inaccurate. The flavors were a little underwhelming in both my chicken and my dressing. And my goat cheese was served in a lemon-sized clump. I am excited to find a place locally I can get fresh raw juice, too. Sadly, even in New York City, I can get a cup of fresh green juice for about half the price. I want to love you, Mad Greens! I desperately want places without preservatives so I can eat without getting sick. I hope theres a way you can stay in business. Give us a little more protein and I think itll be a more realistic value. I can get a delicious salad at Chipotle or Wild Zuchinni within 2 miles from here and they put quadruple the amount of meat on and its absolutely packed with flavor and delectably juicy. My hopes are still high. Your dressings seem amazing and the ability to get raw fresh juice is a big pull.

MAD Greens is struggling to find a welcome home in conservative meat and potatoes country. Keep in mind this is not a place to go swig down your favorite soft drink while eating a heaping pile of chicken on top of green stuff. They dont even serve your favorite soft drink here. Go to Cafe Rio or Costa Vida for such experiences. Those are the "Lettuce is good for you! Its made of water." people (direct quote from Cafe Rios website). It is important to have the right expectation before walking in to this place. It is a "healthy" portions place. And by healthy, I dont mean American super-sized piles of lettuce and dressing. Hummus is on the menu, okay? With the focus on quality, and the associated cost at the register, customers want those expectations to be matched. The ingredients matter. Give MAD Greens a try to see if they measure up for you. The staff is very friendly. Everything is "fine." I openly question if it is a stand-out enough package to appeal to the typical Happy Valley denizen. Time will tell. Bonus thought: Sadly, a southwestern themed salad is missing from the menu. Adding one could be a big hit!

Customer service was ok (cashier made me repeat myself several times) and the food wasnt great. First of all it was $13.00 for my salad. I had double chicken though to be fair. The chicken tasted burnt and almost every bite was fatty and I had to spit it out. I think they should take the time to cut the fat and burned pieces off the chicken. My bacon bits were hard and chewy and couldve also been the culprit of the burnt taste. The ranch had absolutely no flavor and the medium amount as they call it is very little. The place is very small and when busy its so loud you cant talk without almost yelling and you cant enjoy your food because of it. I got there at opening time and the chicken I wanted had not been filled yet so I had to wait. Not long, but still. Salt and pepper on the table would be nice as well. My friend had the "Annie Oakley" sandwich and it was so dry. They didnt give her the dipping sauce that it was supposed to come with. It was like $9.00. It was also very small and thin. It wasnt appealing to the eyes.

Not impressed. Ive gone here 3 times, and 3 strikes. 1st time I got a fresh juice but I expected it to be Organic. With the name of the business you would think their philosophy would be pure food. I got a brownie desert as well and it was way to sugary. 2nd time I got a breakfast sandwich and the same fresh juice. The sandwich was bland and tasteless. 3rd time I got a lunch sandwich which came with Ranch on the side. The sandwich was more bland than the breakfast sandwich. When I tried the ranch I wanted to gag. It was gross. It had this weird taste. I also got the bagged healthy chips and a square cookie. The cookie was to sugary as well. Thats my three strikes. I dont write negative reviews but when you have the name Mad Greens and you cant produce fresh, tasty, pure Organic food then you have a marketing disaster... Live up to your name or change it!

Ive been so excited to come here and finally convinced my hubby tonight to go for dinner! The two salads we got were awesome portions, but insanely overpriced. Most of the salad is just greens, so for the price youd expect more meat/toppings. Also, Im sick so my husband convinced me to buy the "detox" (their green kale juice). Im a juicer and have a juicer at home, and this was the WORST juice Ive ever had in my life--a huge part due to the insane amount of cayenne they add to it. Literally all you can taste is cayenne, I tried to force myself to finish it (because its "good" for me), but I just wanted to gag. My husband hated it too. Also, his sandwich was way dry. The customer service is great, but the food and the price tag is not worth it.

Cons. The pricing is higher then other competitors. The chicken on my James Bridger Salad was dry. My half sandwich didnt have butter or oil put on it before it was grilled so it tasted like it was burnt toast. I was not given a fork in my to go order. Pros. The Salad was a good size and it wasnt an iceberg lettuce salad. I like the variety that was available and there wasnt a line going out of the store. Over all I think this would be great place to eat, even with higher prices then there competitors, if a few changes where made. I will keep trying back but for now my favorite salad place will still be Cafe Zupas.

My husband and I ordered the Caesar salad and we both were not impressed. All of the lettuce was wilted and like another reviewer mentioned, I too had to spit out my chicken because it had fat on it. The amount of salad you get in the regular is so small, I was still hungry after eating it and for $9? Wow, very disappointing. The dressing had no flavor and as soon as I took a bite I had to grab salt to give it some flavor. We are a huge fan of Paradise Bakery and Cafes Caesar salad in American Fork. We will still be ordering their salads. They are so delicious, full of flavor and are twice the amount of salad for $7.
