Very disappointing. There is so much that can be improved. The academic level is very low. I would say its more of a daycare than a preschool. The kids have a snack at 9 and the "academic" program starts around 9:30. If the kids arrive earlier than 9, they have a "free play" but its not organized in any way. Most teachers are catching up on their paper work during that time and the kids just sit there bored -dont know what they should be doing. They are not encouraged to play with anything or no crafts are prepared for them. Kids are bored. My daughter didnt like this school and Ive never had any problems with her before. Also, 50% at a time there is no one at the front desk to ask about anything or pay when its convinient for the parent. The food portions are small. My daughter was always starving after I picked her up. They send out emails with updates and activities they kids do. 50% at a time when we asked my daughter about what we got in the emails she wouldnt know anything and acted surprised we told her she learned about it. We know her well and if she in fact learned about ducklings, she would know that. Also, the school has an unpleasant smell, makes it look and smell dirty. I do not like it at all. I dont think they are very professional and I would call it a daycare and not a preschool. They should take a tour at a real one like challenger and step it up a bit.

When you make a crucial decision such as where your child will spend their time away from you, the decision is not an easy one. After much research and trying several other places, I enrolled my child at La Petite where he receives top of the line care with a nourishing and loving environment. He is now in the 3 year classroom, and my 1 year old has been in the infant room since birth. They have a wonderful, structured environment where they develop positive social interactions, structured sleeping habits, nourishing snacks and kind caregivers who are attentive and express genuine concern for the needs and well-being of their children and classrooms. They work extremely well with habits you are attempting to instill at home and keep open, constant communication with the parents to ensure the children are receiving the best care possible. I would highly recommend La Petite to anyone.

Hi So ive been with La Petite of Layton for so many years actually my daughter is 16 years old and this was her first day care since she was 5 month and now my boy that is 6 years old is again on this awesome daycare since he was 10 month i cant express my gratitude to this fantastic employee here teachers starting with the manager here name Tracy, her assistant Christy, Sharlene, Liza and all of them but this especially that know me since i use to take my oldest daughter here are the most fantastic and loving teachers and manager. This daycare is the only one in Layton that is clean, you can take your kids there and they will come clean, they are super lovely my boy loves it here and my daughter have good memories. So i do recommend this awesome day care because it is really good you can go and teachers will treat your kids with love and respect.

Excellent childcare facility. We have been part of the La Petite family for over two years. From experience and trial/error at other facilities in the area, La Petite is head and shoulders above the rest in terms of activities, education and truly caring for and about your child and family. The only downfall is the limited school transportation options. :( Otherwise, A+ for this daycare!

This day care is absolutely awful. They allow my child to be bullied and mistreated while the "teacher" sits and does nothing. Awful place, never again will I subject my child to this place. With the high cost, you would think theyd be more attentive to school age children.

This is a great childcare facility. The teachers/staff are very friendly and qualified. The facility is clean and organized. The teachers are engaged with the children consistantly.
