My wife and I thought we would check out Risen Savior here in Chandler. It looks and sounds great from the outside, but once in, it was a whole different look... very unfriendly atmosphere, and a money hungry church. We had gone to the 10am service and couldnt wait till it was over. We thought to give it another shot thinking it may have been a misunderstanding, maybe the wrong service, or maybe we came on an off day. We went back and attended a different service and time...same thing. This church is NOT meant for new members. Throughout the service we noticed how most of the readings were directed towards money...we found this to be odd. Basically the Pastor incorporated in his preaching for everyone to give as much money as possible and that even poor people who have no money should give it if they want their prayers answered. Trust me...this is a money driven groupy "so to speak" church. All in all we found a wonderful church that is in Gilbert and is very open and friendly... not once have they mentioned money above the norm!!! (We been attending for 6 weeks now) Risen Savior is a pathetic place to worship OUR Good Lord. Mr. and Mrs. Journey

We visited many churches in the Chandler area and found a home at Risen Savior. They have done everything to make us feel welcome and to involve us in any area of interest we choose. Most importantly, they love the Lord and live this out in ministry to each other and the community. In the 6 months of our attendance, we have never once heard any emphasis on money. I do expect them - and any church - to speak to this issue at least once during a year. This is a topic even Christ addressed. In our own church search, we attended many churches that did not suit us for one reason or another. But never did we assume that we gained a full understanding of any church in only a few services. Neither would I consider publicly scourging any of them on such a minimal sampling of their full ministry. We are grateful to have found Risen Savior. There are three pastors and four services, and a new members series of classes will give anyone interested a chance to truly get to know the church. We encourage you to come and join us.

I had been going to this church on Christian holidays for years before I finally joined in October of 2013. I have found a home here! The preaching is powerful, the atmosphere is friendly, and there are many offerings in the way of classes, Bible Study, etc. Our Risen Savior is truly present here! For anybody looking for a "church home", this is the place!

My wife and I absolutely love going to Risen Savior. I have been going over 11 years now. Great people of faith and your are always welcomed with a smile. They have traditional and contemporary worship service. Pastor Ron and Mark are able to give excellent sermons and have the congregation energized to come back every week for more.
