Beware of this Daycare! Oh, where do I start? I put my son on the waiting list at the end of November. I was told tuition would be $114 per week for 3 days. December 15th, I went in to do all the paper work and to tour the facility with my husband and we were told that there was no longer a 3 day program. I talked to Melissa and we worked out that through January we could do a 3 day program for my son and the rate would be $117 per week. She said she would talk to the owner ( Mrs. Jesse) and we would figure something out for February. The infant room - most babies are in their cribs most of the time. I breast feed my baby so I would bring bags of expressed milk and told the teacher Mrs. Debbie, the amount to feed my son and the frequency. About a week into my son going to daycare it comes to my attention that for some reason or another the teacher HAS NOT been listening to me and is feeding my son whatever, whenever. He was supposed to get 3 oz bottles. She gave him a 6 ounce bottle. Double what he is use to getting! When I say something about it, I was questioned if I was sending milk that had been frozen for too long. I can take care of my own milk, Thank you very much. My sons dirty clothes sometimes wouldnt come home until the next day, they would end up staining because they sat there for days. My son would come home in other childrens diapers, his Bib would be SOAKING wet from spit up all day and the worst part - he SMELLED like the daycare. It was awful. I had to bathe him as soon as we got home. I never knew who was going to be in the infant room, it was always someone different. This part, drives me crazy. Every week I would pay tuition and they wouldnt have change. After THREE weeks of not getting change back, I had a $14 credit on my account. On the last week of January I dropped him off one day and Mrs. Lauren told me Mrs. Melissa needed to talk to me at pick up. I said okay. My husband calls and asks about what we can do about the 3 day program and tuition. Mrs. Melissa called me a liar and would not work with us. I picked him up and she said there was nothing she could do. She said it was the minimum wage hike and she had to raise the rates and it would be mandatory 5 days a week for child care. It was an awful 4 week experience. I now have my son in a WONDERFUL daycare and it has been the best decision weve made! Please, dont send your children here. The administration is not friendly and it not worth the waste of time.

I wrote a review on Yelp a while ago, but wanted to make sure Google gives the wonderful staff at Discovery Time some love too. My son has been going to Discovery Time since he was three months old. No parent wants to leave their baby in someone elses care, but we also have to pay bills. I couldnt choose a better second family for my little guy! Every member of the staff I have met has been friendly and welcoming. My son LOVES his teachers. We drop him off early and Ms. Cori is always there first thing in the morning with open arms and a loving embrace. She and the other teachers showed genuine concern for him when he came down with a nasty chest cold, and they have always been willing to answer my thousand questions every day and fill me in on how his day went. As a first time mom I sometimes feel like I am feeling around in the dark, and Ms. Cori, Ms. Shay and Ms. Debbie have been happy to share advice and swap sleep training stories. Ms. Shay is his favorite teacher, she truly loves him like her own and he crawls to wherever she is. I always see art projects hanging up, and the older kids are never doing the same activity every day. Ive seen kids hurt or crying and the teachers are always right there to comfort them. Ms. Lauren is AMAZING with the kids and is always going from room to room checking on everyone and making sure the center is running smoothly. Plus, their prices are competitive and they offer pick ups and drop offs at some of the local schools. Many of the teachers have been with this daycare for a long time and you can tell they genuinely care about the kids and take pride in what they do. My son LOVES the infant room and 1s room teachers, especially Ms. Debbie, and his main squeeze, Ms. Shay. I feel so good dropping him off with Ms. Cori every morning because he smiles when he sees her and always seems happy when I pick him up. I cant describe how kind they have been to us how gentle and loving they are with our boy, and how grateful I am for their hard work. They treat my baby like their own child and I couldnt be more pleased. THANK YOU, Discovery Time!

So my 2 daughters were going here about a year and never had i had any problems, Until the end of this summer. Where the Teacher Mrs. Cory was throwing shoes across the room that just so happened to hit my daughter in the face ! when i confronted her about it she said she meant to throw it at her daughter ! My thing is why is she throwing shoes in a daycare center to begin with !? and why wold she want to throw a shoe at her daughter ? Second , there was this little girl who punched my daughter in the face for accidentally bumping into her . And the teachers apparently knew nothing about it. Third The bus driver doesnt make sure the kids are buckled up and she almost got into car accident and my daughter slid across the bus and got hurt. and the teacher didnt even bother to ask if she was okay... this is a horrible daycare. The teachers are always yelling at the kids, threatening them and throwing things across the room.. nothing but abuse at this child care ....

THIS IS WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO YOUR CHILD AT THIS DAYCARE. THEY HAD THE NERVE TO SAY THIS HAPPENED TO MY DAUGHTER FALLING FACE FOWARD ON THE PLAYGROUND BUT AS YOU CLEARLY SEE THE GASH IS ON THE TOP OF HER HEAD AND THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES AROUND THE GASH FROM FALLING FACE FIRST ON THE CONCRETE????? NO CAMERAS SO IF YOUR KIDS DONT KNOW HOW TO TALK THEY JUST PROVIDE YOU WITH A (BRIEF) DESCRIPTION OF WHAT HAPPENED, AND THE MORE QUESTIONS I ASK THEM ABOUT THE SITUATION THE MORE THE STORY SWITCHES UP. WHAT WOULD YOU THINK? WHAT WOULD YOU DO??
