We travel an hour and a half each way just to be at this gym. It is well worth the effort for my 3 daughters to receive this level of training at such a fine facility. We have a little beginner, one that is in level 5 after 1/2 year in the sport, and one that recently qualified for regionals in level 8 after 2 1/2 years in the sport. We have been stunned by how quickly they have progressed under the spectacular coaching at this gym. There are many things to rave about Arete, but the thing that I love most is how team oriented they are. The same energy and interest is given to help every gymnast on the team do their very best rather than all the focus going to just a few individual super stars! The coaches are able to bring out the best in their gymnasts at all levels and they do it by inspiring them rather than bullying them into it. The entire coaching staff is fabulous! They understand kids and really care about every one of their gymnasts. If everyone knew what was going on at Arete, it would be the only gym in the state!

I am not big on writing reviews, but after the terrible experience I had, I felt it was necessary and hope to save someone else from a similar nightmare. If I could give 0 stars I would. This facility is unprofessional and greedy. They just keep adding and adding an overwhelming amount of kids and not enough coaches. They have a couple of good coaches, but recently have had a high turnover which greatly affected the gymnasts. If you have a concern, dont expect much to be done about it. If you have questions, be prepared to not have them answered. You will be treated poorly here. Save yourself and your child the drama and pick a different gym. They also charge all this money for every little thing (if you are on team) and then they expect all this volunteer time and donations or they charge you more if you dont volunteer. We wasted just about a year of our time and money at this facility. We are on to bigger and better things at a facility that actually has respect and cares for their gymnasts.

I am so glad I found Arete gymnastics!!! I came across them by chance and I am so grateful I did. We have been with them for nearly 6 years now and have loved every minute - no regrets!! There is a good feeling when you walk through the doors; a family friendly atmosphere with great coaching and staff. All 5 of my kids have taken classes at one time or another and all have learned and progressed quickly including my daughter earning 5 consecutive individual state championships and on her way to qualifying Elite. Not only have my children learned gymnastics, but also life lessons such as hard work, dedication, determination, persistence, communication and friendship. The coaches motivate and inspire and bring out the best in each individual gymnast regardless of skill level. We wouldnt go anywhere else!!

My daughter Trista is an 11 year old HOPES gymnast that will be testing Junior Elite this coming January (2016). Her coaches Dan and Jana, have been amazing and supportive in this difficult, but rewarding journey my Trista has chosen to take. It is amazing how they have been able to motivate her and build her confidence to a level that makes her look forward to practice everyday. She was ready to give up on her journey until we found Arete. With Dan and Jana, as well as, her amazing and supportive team mates, I am seeing Tristas talent develop to be the gymnast she is capable of being. If you want your daughter to be all that she can be in this sport, especially if her aspirations are to be an Elite gymnast, then Arete Gymnastics is the only gym in Utah for you.

We started looking at gymnastic club options a few years ago when the gym my daughter attended changed owners. After searching for several months we found Arete. We thought we were dreaming. Their coaching staff is awesome, the facility is clean, and the equipment is top notch. We traveled 124 miles RT, 5 days a week for a year before deciding to move closer. My daughter went from a weak level 8 to a strong level 10 in 1 1/2 years. This summer she will test for Elite which has been her goal since she was little. It is the best ran gym I have been to and their coaching style is amazing. Everything they do is for the kids whether they are in the recreation program, tumbling, or on team. They love kids and the kids thrive because of them.

I have been to many different gymnastics facilities and have finally found a home. I havent seen any gym that cares more about the needs of the kids and the families. It wasnt untill I started to talk to all the other families that I realized how many families are getting help from this gym through scholarships, trade and opportunities to work for tuition. I find it refreshing that a campany is so willing to work with every deserving family on an individual basis so that every child has an opportunity regardless of personal circumstances. I have two children, both at Arete Gymnastics. They both absolutely love their time there. My oldest is on a competitive team and my youngest is a Level 1. The prices are much less than other gyms around and the coaches are friendly and knowledgeable. The environment is peaceful and family oriented. My Daughter is also always looking forward to competition season. The office ladies are very helpful in answering questions, and Sandy even welcomes my children each week with a huge :) My children are always wanting to stay longer... I love it here!!!

Arete Gymnastics is philosophically and fundamentally sound! They create an atmosphere where the gymnast grows physically, mentally and emotionally. The coaches are well -trained and extremely positive! Basics are coached well and perfected, allowing for a positive and safe environment as the gymnast builds upon their skills. Each gymnast is constantly engaged throughout the entire class, while loving every second of it! They truly create such a fun, positive and rewarding atmosphere! We couldn’t imagine going anywhere else!

My little brother here has tumbled here for years and he loves every bit of it! Gymnastics and tumbling have taught him not only how to love having an active lifestyle, but a special kind a discipline as well. The staff has always been great and well qualified, with focus on the kids being the number one priority. I know the memories made with his coaches here are ones he will cherish for a lifetime! I have gone here for 5 years and I think it is amazing!!!!! They offer classes that keep you hard-working while youre having a fun and enjoying it at the same time!! I definetly recommend it for anyone especially if they have alot of energy. They add a whole lot more to the gymnastics exparience than just practicing tricks. I love it there!

AMAZING COACHES! These coaches know what they are doing and can get the girls to do anything without ever raising their voices. Very family friendly atmosphere. My girls have progressed faster here than in any other facility that we have been in. Coaches love to spot the kids to help them feel confident! The prices here are great too!
