When I had to take my daughter to a corporate run daycare, I cried all the way home. I searched high and low for a great in-home daycare and I found Applepine Country Day Care. My oldest daughter attended there from 18 months until 5 years old and now my youngest has been there since she was 6 weeks old and she is 3.5 years old. Ive taken my kids there five plus years! They are awesome! The kids are on a schedule year round with circle time (preschool) in the fall, winter and spring and outside games and fun in the summer. My daughters come home so excited to tell me what they learned, sang or did that day. When we moved from Midvale to Draper, I have kept my youngest daughter at this daycare. Now would I drive there everyday if I didnt think it benefited my child? They are wonderful and we (including my youngest daughter) will be so sad when she has to go to school. She will miss Deborah and Aubrey!

3099+Ran by a mother/daughter team. If your kid is bigger and can take care of himself, you are ok. If you want to take a child under 2 yrs of age beware. The house is older, with a living room and a small bedroom for kids to play in. Babies sleep in her bedroom. Not sure how she is licensed for 15 kids. She sits in her rocker all day due to health problems. Apparently her husband works swing shifts and sleeps when the children are there (not sure how that functions with a daycare). The mother (woman in charge) told me she has numerous health problems and is not going to hold children all day. The daughter never talks, seems a bit slow, if you asked her a question, she would call the mother. Like I said, if your kid is older probably ok, younger kids, keep looking.

Pleas pleas dont put your kids with this day care they are mother and daughter on home child care!! My daughter had accident not make it to the bathroom and she yell at her and told her you YOU ARE DISGUSTING!!! Daughter came home with not talking for 2 hours she put my daughter on a chair and she fell a sleep on that chair she didnt bother herself to put her somewhere else so she can sleep peasfully!! After this happened I report a compliment to the Utah licences just to save the other kids that their parents dont have any idea how bad she is!! Shes mad angry all the time! I hope they shut off her daycare and save many abused kids!!

Pay attention to her during the interview. That is the first sign of trouble. She does not sugar coat it. Told me she was not a morning person and not to talk to her during the morning, just to drop my child off. It should have been my first warning. I came to pick my kid up during nap, and the kids were spread around the house like cats. As i opened the door, one child was sleeping on a blanket right at the entrance. I dont understand how she is licensed?! She would constantly sit in her rocker. No updates on the child what so ever, like eating, sleeping. The house is old, no room for children to explore. I would say keep looking.

You get the best of both worlds... quality home care with a structured learning environment. State licensed daycare in a smaller, more personal environment. Plus 30 years of experience caring for children. So many fun activities the kids look forward to... carnival day, water day, drive-in day. Pirate week included a lost treasure map and treasure hunt! The kids loved it! Theres something fun to look forward to every day. Couldnt have found a better place!

Most amazing daycare!! Applepine is a safe, clean and all around outstanding preschool/daycare! After searching for the perfect daycare over a period of 5 months, from the North end of the valley to the South end, I finally found Applepine. The staff is bright, attentive and so good with the children. I am truly blessed to know my little one is so well cared for on a day to day basis. I wouldnt take my daughter anywhere else!!

The best place around for daycare! Both my children have gone to this daycare, both were ready for kindergarten after attending their preschool. They were well cared for, and we appreciated Deborah and Aubrey for everything they did for us!!!
