It was May, 2000, when I hurt my back so severely I could not stand up. I was a practicing orthodontist at the time. Unable to get into see a neurosurgeon, a massage therapist gave me Dr. Monte Laytons number. I was very skeptical about seeing a chiropractor, but later that night, my wife, Susan, insisted that she call Dr. Layton. He agreed to see me first thing in the morning. I shuffled into his office on crutches, barley able to stand the pain. After looking at an x-ray, Dr. Layton said he was confident he could get me out of pain. He looked like he might be at least 16 years old at the time. I shuffled into a treatment room, and Dr. Layton came in to treat me for the first time. I would have walked out if I could, but the pain was so intense I could not move any further. Before Dr. Layton made the first adjustment to my back, I looked up into his eyes and said, "You have to understand, I dont believe in a thing you do." He smiled and said he understood. That was on Tuesday. He saw me twice a day through Friday of that week. I was shocked to find that the adjustments were not painful, and in fact, it seemed like the pain decreased about 15% each time he treated me. I told Susan after two days, that I wanted her to meet Dr. Layton, and that if it wasnt actually happening to me I would say it was a hoax. On Monday of the next week, I saw Dr. Layton in the morning, and then played 18 holes of golf that afternoon. The pain was completely gone. Since then I have seen Dr. Layton whenever I have any muscle spasms or discomfort in my back. The relief is often times immediate, sometimes it takes a followup adjustment or two, but I have avoided the debilitating episodes of acute and chronic back pain, and have avoided surgical treatment. One of the greatest blessings in my life has been making the acquaintance of Dr. Layton. He quickly became a good friend, and has given to me a quality of life I never would have enjoyed. Ive been able to maintain a physically active lifestyle and was able to practice orthodontics until my retirement in 2012. Now at 70 years of age, I can hit a golf ball longer than I ever could, hike and fish extensively in rough terrain, and travel frequently. Yes, I still have moments when I tweak my back and have to have Monte get me out of pain, but the relief is predictable and quick. These comments wouldnt be complete without commending the staff at Dr. Laytons office. Some of them have been there since my first office visit. Most of them have been there for some time. They are the best, none finer anywhere, and I appreciate them. They make everyone who comes into the office feel like family. Ive referred many, many people to Dr Layton since that episode in 2000, maybe as many as anyone, because I have such respect and confidence in Dr. Laytons abilities. He is an outstanding diagnostician, and has superb clinical technique and judgement. It is a distinct privilege to speak to his abilities. Dr. Michael L. Stevens

I recently discovered the MIRACLE of a chiropractor! Ive spent the last 6 years suffering from debilitating headaches and dizziness that took me from a very active lifestyle to a very sedintary one. I spent lots of money, time and energy seeing specialists and undergoing test after test, only to be told that everything looked normal. But the pain in my head told me otherwise. After taking my daughter and husband to see Dr. Layton for back problems, I decided to give it a try myself. I walked out of his office that day 100% headache free for the first time in 6 years! I had forgotten what it felt like not to have pain in my head and felt lighter than air. It took 2 or 3 adjustments for the dizziness to completely go away, but with each visit it got better and better. I havent looked back since. I feel so liberated!! I continue my weekly visits and actually look forward to the relief that my adjustments give me. Dr. Laytons technique is very gentle and has never hurt. I also have to say that his office staff are just as "elite" as he is! Whether its the girls at the front desk or the girls in the therapy room, I am greeted with a handful of smiles, and by name (VERY impressive!), every time I walk into that office! They are so friendly and accomodating. They even inquire about my daughter, again, by name, and ask how shes doing. I think the demenaor of the office staff really reflects the kind of business that Dr. Layton runs. You can see that theyre happy to work there and for me, thats huge. I have given so many referrals to this office and will continue to do so. I just cant say enough good about it!

As a professional athlete it is extremely important to have experienced, licensed professionals to lean on in order to perform at a high level. Elite Chiropractic and Performance Center with Dr. Layton and Dr. Harbrecht are everything you could ask for and more. I have not missed a game in two seasons due to injury and Elite Chiropractic and Performance Center are a huge part of that. Customer service is exceptional and they have always exceeded my expectations with consistent scheduling, friendly staff, and taking care of all my aches and pains. They even have an area for children to play so do not look elsewhere and bring the entire family to Elite Chiropractic and Performance Center for all of your sports and family chiropractic services!

Its silly but I look forward to my Chiropractic visits. The staff is amazing, friendly & personable. My entire family visits Dr. Layton & have for many years. Any physical injury or issue - I go to Layton first. I completely trust him. On occassion I have also been treated by Dr. Harbrecht & Dr. Wimmer, who are pretty awesome as well. As if I didnt have enough good to say... I also visit Megan for massage therapy on a regular basis. Her expertise in athletes & their muscles has been especially beneficial to me. And I have been able learn a lot from her. I am a "lifer"! They are all stuck with me.

I was severely disappointed with one of their massage therapists, Megan. I was referred to her because I was told she handles the massage aspect with the salt lake city Olympic speed skaters but 10 minutes into the massage, she was as gifted at massage as is somebody who just began at a massage school; in other words, shes horrible. She talked more during my appointment than she actually worked on my body which can only be another reason she ISNT good at what she does! Hopefully this helps you people out who dont want to waste their money on somebody whos been doing this for almost a decade.

Dr Wimmer is amazing. The support staff incredible! I hurt my neck so bad I couldnt sleep for two days. Cortisone injections, MRIs, and all the pain pills I could eat. However, it was Dr. Wimmer and his staff that actually healed me. Everything else was to minimize the pain. I have gone from a lvl 9 on the pain scale to no pain at all. First class facilities, easy billing, helpful staff, amazing rehab treatment room. If you are serious about getting well, moving better, and waking up less sore than ever before. This is the place to go. I am a patient for life and it keeps getting better.
