We went here because they where supposedly the best for Disney cruises. The first time we went there no one answered the door during business hours on a Saturday. we called and couldnt get anyone to answer the phone so we left a message. They called us after about an hour and said the were in the back and didnt hear the door. We ended up booking our trip with them. The girl we worked with booked our hotel room far away from the air port and we had to pay $60.00 each way for a shuttle when we could have stayed at a hotel by the airport and saved $120.00 I would say if you are planning a Disney cruise to read about them on all the blogs and to book it yourself. We didnt save any money using Get Away Today so why use them? Good luck getting them to return your calls or emails after you have paid for your trip. We booked our trip with Stephanie, but she booked it with Expedia. FYI - This is the first review I have written and am sad that it had to be negative.

Ive used this company 3x now and have had wonderful experiences each time. I love that you can put most (or maybe all) vacation packages on a layaway plan. They have had great customer service each time I call or email. I usually work with Lex and she has been great about getting me price quotes and helping me book my packages. I did find a cheaper rate for Disney tickets one time through another site but they beat that price by $10. Now they seem to be cheaper than any site I have found and I researched a lot of sites. I do not recommend using the shuttle company advertised with getaway today for Disney though, its wayyy cheaper if you go through super shuttle (like half price). Everything else seems to be a good deal though and easy to book. The website is user friendly too. I am happy someone told me about this company and I often refer my friends and family.

My family and I took a trip to Disneyland that was booked through Get Away Today. We had to cut the trip short by 2 days because of a family emergency back home. The hotel clerk said that Get Away Today would have to approve and issue any refunds for the 2 nights that we didnt use. After talking to customer service at Get Away Today they said the hotel was in charge of issuing any refunds. After a brief time on hold they said that after talking to the hotel that no refund would be issued. I can understand that the hotel wouldnt be able to issue a refund because the money transaction was through Get Away. So now Im out $300+ for 2 nights that I did not use. For my future California/Disneyland trips I will not be using Get Away Today.

Just got a call from them, that was quick. Seemed good to work with this time and very professional. They sent me an email and it went to spam, so i looked back and none of my other experiences had gone to spam, but i guess thats common. Ill update my review if anything worth mentioning For every five contacts with them, they reply to maybe one. I often get the feeling that unless youre spending more than a couple grand on your vacation (i vacation fairly cheaply) they arent interested and youre not worth their time.

We had a fantastic experience with Get Away Today. They emailed us weeks in advanced to give us tips and make sure we were all set for our trip. We received a phone call 3 days before the trip asking if we had any questions or needed anything in regards to our travels. It is so nice to set up everything in one spot and just go and just enjoy vacation. We are excited to go back to Disneyland hopefully next year and will definitely be using GAT! Thanks!

I was disappointed that I had to stand in line (which was long as is) at Disneyland, an additional twenty minutes because Get Away Today didnt have my tickets in the system. I had to talk to three different Disneyland employees before they finally called Get Away Today and then we had to wait for them to fax our tickets over. I wish I could give them a higher rating. Their prices are good and I have always heard great things about Get Away Today.

Absolutely loved working with them to plan our trip. Amazing customer service, they even called whilst we were on vacation to make sure everything was going okay. Always there to help and give advice. The blog posts they do are also super helpful, I read a bunch before we left and the tips were very helpful. They really were the cheapest option but didnt act like a cheap company. Would recommend and Im planning to use again for our next vacation!

Absolutely horrendous company! Completely lied about what hotel I would be staying in, horrible experience. Now, two years later, they wont stop calling me. Ive asked to be put on the do not call list at least a dozen times and they still call. Ive been told to f**k off by a sales person when I asked not to be called again and hung up on three times. I would never let anyone I knew use this company and have now filed a complaint with the BBB.

I had Get Away Today help me plan my trip to Disney World and it was such an easy and fun experience! I worked with Tyler and he was always so quick to respond to my littlest demand. I had so many questions and asked for so many quotes and he was always so knowledgeable and willing to send different costs for all the scenarios I came up with. I will be using Tyler for all of my future vacation planning needs!

I had a terrible experience, felt like the hotel was a completely misrepresented. I used my entire tax return and saved for almost a year to go. If I knew that I was only getting a small discount on the tickets, and no other savings going through Get Away Today, I would have went through Costco or another travel agency. Do not use Get Away Today Vacations!!

Very disappointed by booking a shuttle through this site. Booked a shuttle to take us to Universal Studios. The park opened at 9am & closed at 10pm. This site did not inform us that Grayline Shuttles only worked from 10 -6pm. They robbed us out of 5 hrs of Universal Studios. I would recommend Uber next time! Never Again!
