My husband and I just got back from a pretty spectacular weekend in Park City, Utah and, although I am usually not someone who takes the time to review, I am moved to do so since it was such a special trip! We used to live in Park City and have not been back for a visit for quite a few years. We didn’t want to blow the bank on lodging so we would have extra money to splurge on dining out, spa services and shopping. While searching for places to stay, I came across a little boutique hotel called Lespri. It’s nicely tucked away just a little ways from Main Street and is small enough to be quiet, but still offer an exceptional level of service! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a super friendly front desk person who graciously spent time talking to us about where to go and what to do while we were in town. As it turns out, a lot has changed since we lived here and there are so many more options! We began our stay with a relaxing cocktail in the hotel’s comfortable lounge. I had a summer special cocktail – a mango jalapeño margarita, and my husband enjoyed a local beer. We snacked on a few of their happy hour appetizers and then headed up to the room to relax and get ready for a night out! We were pleasantly surprised at how large the room was – really more of a suite! Huge king sized bed, fireplace, soaking tub, and a cool little kitchenette which was perfect for storing a few snacks and drinks during our stay. After a long soak in the tub, we decided to head down to the hotel restaurant for dinner. Amazing! The dining room was super cozy, there was a funky little sushi bar, and of course the lounge we enjoyed earlier, but we decided to eat out on their patio since it was a nice, cool evening. What a relaxing night we had! The patio is divided in to two spots; a lower grotto type area and an upper patio that has a cool little lounge seating area and a fire pit. We opted for the lower patio area and decided we would hang out by the fire after dinner for a drink. We started off with a bottle of wine suggested to us by our awesome server and ordered up a couple of sushi rolls, as we had heard from some local friends that Lespri had the best sushi in town. They weren’t lying! Seriously fresh, unique rolls with the best sauces I have ever had. We then decided to split a couple of entrees and ordered up one of their steaks (the NY Strip), and the fresh fish of the day, which happened to be Salmon. We also ordered a couple of fun side dishes since the steak came a la carte. I’m not kidding when I say it was the best steak ever – melt in your mouth amazing! The fish was fresh and prepared perfectly too. At the end of dinner, we were convinced to order their house made beignets, which we enjoyed by the fire pit. What a perfect first night in Park City! We loved staying in this hip little hotel, and loved the fact that there was a bar, restaurant and even a spa right on site! The spa, was awesome too – we both had massages that rivaled massages we have had at 5-star hotels. This place is a total gem – go there now before everyone finds out and you can’t get in!

We arrived at 6:00 p.m. as they are closing. We left home right after work, so my husband wanted to take a shower when we got there. Instead of waiting for me to unpack the shampoo and body wash we brought he used the bottles they had in the bathroom. There is no notice on the bottles or around them that said to not use them or to leave them after use and were displayed like all the other hotels typically display the bottles they have you take with you. It would be unsanitary to have other people shower with the same bottles of shampoo and such. They are larger bottles than the usual 2-3 oz that typical hotels leave. But they charge $30.00 a bottle, I dont know if they charge you if you use them and leave them. I am sorry but that is gross to me, for everyone sharing a bottle of shampoo and body wash. They do not have tamper evident seals on them as far as I know they could have refilled old Green Park bottles with cheap Walmart generic product, and charge $30.00 for each bottle. There was shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. And a extra shampoo. I was charge $150.00 plus tax for 5 bottles of crappy body products. They need to just put small bottles in the room or non at all. It was so not worth staying at this hotel. The room overall is nice the bed is like sleeping on clouds. I walked into use the restroom and had to wash the toilet seat because there was a yellow stain on it. The tile grout in front of the vanity is a charcoal grey and under the vanity, around the toilet as well as in the shower is white grout, I suspect the grout is very dirty in the area in front of the vanity. There is cobwebs hanging in the entrance in the room. The purple velvet sofa has a crusty stain on it. The internet wasnt working the second day I was there. And I paid a $25.00 resort fee to cover the internet. They are closed at 6:00 and make you go out a side door. They have a booklet in the room that says they are open until 10:00 p.m. on the off season. There was a weird noise all day and night, it sounded like a blender. I though they were making smoothies next door in the gym or something but nobody was there. I was unable to sleep. I took a vacation to get away but this place was not relaxing, and so not worth the trip. I would never recommend the Lespri Park City to anyone I know. They rip you off with the crappy bottles of shampoo.

If you like dirty dishes, broken fire alarm safety equipment, an empty grill, non-draining sink, while being treated like an inconvenience, then Lespri is for you! There was terrible maintenance on a wide range of issues, totally unacceptable on a $1900 night property, and even worse customer service. When contacted them for service, acted like we were inconveniencing them, as if it was our fault the dishes were not clean, or the dishwasher was broken, the grill didnt work, and the sink didnt drain. Their only response, when repeatedly pressed for some compensation for our troubles, was to offer us a discount in the future. We would never use this company again.

My family and I stayed in a condo near Main Street this summer and had an amazing time! The location couldnt have been better and the place was beautiful. The staff at Lespri was very helpful and knowledgeable, they gave us great recommendations for activities and dining in the area including their restaurant which was amazing, hands down some of the best sushi and steaks we have ever had! Overall we had a wonderful experience and are already planning our trip back to Park City next year!

I felt very relaxed and pampered at the Rain Spa. The massage left me well balanced and I felt rejuvenated after the facial. I also had a lovely evening at the Prime restaurant - I highly recommend the Oh Mai and White Knight sushi rolls -- both have a nice kick! My experience was complete sitting outside on their elegant back patio with their specialty drink, mango jalapeño margarita, listening to live music (every Friday in the summer).
