I wish I could give 0 stars. We hired Merlin to fix a valve in our condo. He caused over $20,000 of water damage because he forgot to tighten something. It took over 3 months to repair all of the water damage. During this time, we had to reimburse our tenants for rent, which Merlin refused to reimburse us for. He always showed up late, never called when he was late, rarely responded in a timely manner, doesnt know who his insurance company is, didnt respond to our requests repeatedly, caused months and months of delays due to lack of following up, etc. I would NEVER recommend Merlin to anyone. He is a terrible plumber, extremely lazy and doesnt care about getting back to people.

I called Mr. Jacobson to see if he could make it to my townhome with tennants waiting for him to arrive to fix a bathtub that wouldnt drain. He said that they would be able to fix it that same day at 4:30pm. With the tenants having people company it was impairitive to get it fixed the same day. At 6:00pm when they still werent there, I called him and he said they were "stuck in traffic." He then said he could be there in 45 minutes. At 9:30pm my tenants made me aware that he never showed up. Dont trust this company, all they do is break promises, not once, not twice, but three times in one day.

SUper nice guy. Pleasant to work with and eventually took care of me. More then happy with the outcome, but it literally took 2 months for the project to get completed. We had called from our Home warranty and they contracted Merlin. He was supposed to replace several faucets, shower heads, and fix some leaks. He eventually did all of this and more, but started the process in July and didnt finish until the end of August. I would use him again, but knowing that time was not of the essence. Lots of folks in Park City LOVE his work and use him.

When we called they said they would be here the same day. We were super excited to have our job taken on so quickly. He was supposed to be here at 6pm and didnt arrive until 7:52pm and didnt call to let us know he would be late. He was here for about 20 minutes then told me he didnt have the parts to complete the project. He said he would come back the next day so we scheduled it for 4:30pm and he currently is a half hour late. Who knows when he will get here but I am going to tell him that I will find someone else to complete the job.

I just bought an older place and I knew I needed a new water heater. Merlin came by and did a fast, efficient removal and replacement, as well as tested the attached heating system. I found a couple of additional items to fix, and Merlin got everything working. I’m now very comfortable leaving the place empty during the off season, knowing that everything has been fixed by a professional. The price was really fair, and his quality of work, and attention to detail was excellent. I really recommend the company.

Used Merlin to put in a tankless water heater. It didnt seem like he wanted the work because he wouldnt call back and he took forever to get it done. Since then I had another plumber come in and fix all of the gas fittings because they all leaked. I would not recommend using him.

Very poor service they was called a month ago to fix my heater they showed up and needed parts and here it is a month later and my heater is still not fixed and they are horrible about responding to phone calls

Do NOT work with Merlin! He will show up hours late and leave early without getting all the work done but promises to come back... horrible person to work with.
