My kids attended ABC Great beginnings on 3600 South. Ive had issues on and off with a couple teachers here and always went to lisa. some of these problems were from Ms. Whitney when she force fed my daughter spaghetti and told her if she didnt eat it ms. Whitney would put a diaper on her and make her stay in the baby class, that alone is degrading to my child. Another time I went to pick up my kids my son had stated someone hit him in the mouth and he pointed out the teacher and I spoke with lisa and tatiana about it and lisa Stated "dont worry today is her last day she will be going to school and leaving us", problem solved she thought. Now most recently they had got a new teacher Ms.McKenzie i walked through the door hearing this teacher screaming at the kids, another day I walked into my sons class to see this teacher charging at a little girl on the floor saying YOU HAVENT GOT YOUR DAMN SHOES ON YET!!!!! I said hey stop thats not ok ( even tho this was not my child) YES I ABSOLUTELY WAS UPSET I had mentioned the teacher was a fat b**** BUT NOT TO THE TEACHER OR IN FRONT OF THE KIDS. After talking to 2 of the teachers (that always complain about the daycare and lisa) I also spoke with tatiana about this teacher tatiana stated well take care of it and still sat down at the desk instead of getting up and addressing the problem immediately. Now I went to get my kids yesterday 9/30/2016 and go to find my kids waiting for me with Ms. Jen at the front of the building.... Ms jen stated lisa said I was no longer allowed in the building but yet lisa failed to inform me of that information. My kids thought they where in trouble for having to be pulled out of class and wait for me including the fact my daughter said ms. Whitney slapped her in the face that day and my daughter told me she was sick her head and legs hurt but no one would listen to her. I took her temperature in the parking lot of the daycare and it was 101.3. now I get Lisa is upset at me but dont involve my kids and be sure to inform parents if they are not allowed at the daycare especially if the kids are still present there. Yesterday was their last day and im so thankful for it! I called lisa today to talk about what my daughter said and also ask why she didnt inform me i wasnt allowed in the building and she got very upset and stated WHY WOULD I HAVE TO TELL YOU.... teachers complain about working here but cant find another job at the moment. Another teacher had informed me that this Ms Mckenzie force fed a child after he ate and said I cant eat no more my tummy is full she stated I DONT CARE HOW FULL YOUR TUMMY IS EAT WHATS ON YOUR PLATE!!!!! btw not all teachers are bad here... my kids have always loved Ms. Jenn, Ms. Ashley, Justin, Mr. Curtis (No longer with them) Ms. Alexis Ms. Kelsey, Ms Carrie, Ms sienna and Ms Irene.... BTW i didnt get kicked out of the daycare I was already moving my kids before I had this issue with Ms. mcKenzie..... And im so glad I made that decision.

On February. ABC great beginnings was in charged of picking up my son from School from the Elementary school. After they pick him up they take him back to the daycare and then I get off work at 6 and pick him up from daycare. In February I got off work, head to pick him up from the daycare. As I was walking in the day care. The receptionist in the front told me that my son was not at the daycare with them. I thought they were kidding... She said no really, he didnt come today. I said I didnt get a phone call from the school saying that he was left behind and missed the bus? or from you guys (the daycare) that he didnt make it to the bus? The lady in the front called her manager to see where my son was at. She didnt pick up. She checked the school bus roll and saw that he was checked into the bus but not checked out. While this was happening I checked with my boyfriend to see if he picked him up. I told the receptionist that NO ONE would pick up my son from school or daycare without me not knowing. After she checked the roll and saw that he was on the bus but never got off. This teacher at the daycare name Justin was there and he ran out to the daycare bus parked outside to see if he was in there. Justin Came back into the daycare with my son. He was left in the School bus all evening by ABC great Beginnings (West Valley Location) my son was with tears in his eyes so scared that he was left all alone for hours. That day was cold and I feel that my son was neglected, Terrified and this is serious that a daycare doesnt take the responsibility to check that no child is left behind in their bus. My son was in the bus from 3:30 PM until 7pm. Im concerned for my son and other children at this day care. I have removed my son from this day care and is attending another daycare as this is not acceptable.

Today I had the worst experience with this location. The moment I got there the lady up front did not seem to want to help me. She was having a conversation with another employee. I took a tour of the place and went back to deal with the same lady up front with paperwork. I was going through an agency that required additional paperwork from the facility. The lady told me to take a picture with my phone of the business license and a take a picture of the rate sheet that was taped to her desk. She said shes not taking down the license, but it was only stapled. And refused to fill out a W9. Once she refused I knew this is not the place for my child. I went to 3 other other daycare facilities today and each one of them were willing to help me out except this one. I do not understand how this lady is still working here if she is too lazy to do her job. She is the first person anyone sees when coming into this daycare and yet gives an awful experience to potential parents who want their child to come there. If I could give a zero rating I would. This is the only rating Ive ever done because I felt the need for parents to know what kind of place their child is going and what kind of employees work there.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Lisa, the director, and all the teachers. Everyone is very loving and attentive. My granddaughter has been enrolled at ABC since July 2016 and has gone thru some rough stuff in her young life. I have seen her excel and become more confident in this last year and I know a big part of it is the staff at ABC since she is there most of her waking moments. My granddaughter has become very attached to Ms Ashley and Ms Irene and Ms Lisa. My granddaughter thinks so much of Ms Lisa that when she saw Ms Lisa at her dance recital that she gave one of her flowers to Ms Lisa. That says a lot to me and the great care that is given to my granddaughter. Thank you Ms Lisa and all the staff at ABC for all that you do. Tammy Anderson
