I requested Five Stars assistance with a complex biological clean room painting project. I did not know what paint I needed, but I knew the end result I wanted. Brandon did a great deal of research and found the right combination of materials to give me this result. Even better, the price was half that of others quoted, but with superior materials. The project was started on time and completed in a professional manner. The proposed timeline was kept and the project stayed within budget. This project is extremely sensitive due to the cellular products processed in this facility. As such, I was quite particular with preparation to protect sensitive infrastructure, and picky about things being perfect in the end. Five Star was responsive to even the smallest issue regarding post painting clean up and detailed touch ups I wanted. I was extremely pleased by the end result, a paint job which was above and beyond not only the original construction, but my expectations as well. Brandon’s research, attention to detail and outstanding customer service culminated in an excellent result, even though this was the company’s first clean room project. Well done!! We had our interior of our house completely repainted a few years ago by Five Star Painting and I finally decided to write a bad review after opening the buckets of paint they left. One had a bunch of the drop cloths in it. Another was extremely watery when I opened it. I stirred it like mad, but it was useless. I know that paint is watered down some for spraying, but what were they doing? Unfortunately, that was just the motivation to write this. The paint job was really quite bad. They got paint on everything. I told the owner several particular things I wanted done (for instance, paint a wooden trim) and his workers didnt do any of those things. When I called him on the phone he had no recollection. His workers came back several times to fix things (fix up the paint, remove paint) and the last time they said that the owner wouldnt allow them to come back again. There was an entire wall of the upstairs bathroom that needed a second coat of paint. There were runs of paint all over the basement that needed to be sanded off. The workers left the back door open one evening without letting me know. Avoid this place. I gave this place two stars because they made an attempt at painting the place rather than taking my money and running.

Terrible service! I had over a $1000 job and I would never recommend Five Star Painting to anyone. The painters didnt arrive at the scheduled time and had no idea what the job was. I had to re-explain it all to them, which was difficult considering I dont speak Spanish. They had NO helpful info about paint colors themselves, and they could not explain how colors would look once in my home. They then spilled their Pepsi on my white carpet and tried to cover it up without telling me. Luckily I noticed and the cleaning bill was covered after I insisted upon it. They tracked paint on my carpet. Their lines were sloppy. They did the bare minimal to hurry up and get out. I explained it all to the manager (Brandon) and he acted like he was doing me a huge favor by taking $50 off for my trouble. Not nearly enough to keep me from writing this. They send someone out at first who speaks english and acts professional. (Although I thought she was opinionated and annoying.) After that, youre on your own. Good luck!

I had them paint several sections of my exterior walls. I found myself calling the manager almost every day about some issue. The first day, they didnt show up till 6 pm and did almost nothing. My 3-4 day job turned into a 6 day job. I guess it would help if they actually showed up first thing in the morning instead of mid-morning. The first crew was very messy and left paint chips and plastic all over my yard which blew all over my grass over night. There was some overspray due to poor taping, they left all their stuff on my lawn every night, which was a problem when the sprinklers came on, etc. They got some different guys in that cleaned up and did a decent paint job. I found their price to be very competitive, which is why I chose them. One disappointment was that the local manager never came out to discuss my issues or do a final walk through. Im glad its over - at the end of the day, I think I got a pretty good paint job, but it wasnt a good experience.

Five Star did an in person estimate followed by a final walk through proir to work beginning. They provided assistance with color selection and were very knoweldegeable and easy to work with. They accomodated my scheduling needs and completed the work quickly. Owner and staff alike were professional, courteous and highly skilled. They definately went above and beyond to meet our needs. The best part, besides our beautiful new paint, was that there was NO MESS. They cleanded up meticulously every day. I am very pleased with the high quality and sharp lines. I will definately be using them again!

Five Star painting is amazing! They have the best prices in town and the paint job was astonishing they nailed my colors, now I love coming home every day. They started the job on time and finished on time making my life so much easier. They were very courteous to my house making a concerned effort to keep everything cleaner then I would have. They were very professional to work with and answered every one of my questions making me completely at ease with my choices. There is no doubt in my mind that I will use them again and would recommend Five Star to anyone one of my friends and family.

5-Star came to our home Tuesday and began taping and painting in the afternoon. The whole house was complete Thursday. I looked for areas that may have been missed and could not find one! The did d superior job! I was taking pictures by the road and got 5 thumbs up from passers by. My wife and I are thrilled by their work. Very conscientious and caring. They cleaned up each day before they left! My neighbor has asked them to come over and bid on their home. I highly recommend 5-Star of Salt Lake! Frank and Robyn

They did us a great job painting the inside of our home. They were quick to arrive and give a quote and easy to work with the fine tuning the work to be done. The got us scheduled within a few weeks and the job was completed on time. There was only one person that did the painting and he had great attention to detail and was very considerate as we were home most of the time. A project manager stopped by a few times to make sure everything was going to bid. Overall great job and we recommend this contractor.

The painters arrived on time each morning and cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. At the end of the job we did a final walk through and found no issues.
