I dont usually write reviews, but I felt like this was the right thing to do. When I first started Crossfit, my intentions were to try this out for a month and leave when my track season started back up again. Its been 8 months, and I still find myself coming in everyday. If you are new to Crossfit, they start you off on a couple of fundamental classes (you get a feel for the flow of workouts and learn how to execute compound movements) Coming in here is a culture shock. People from very different types of backgrounds come together and enjoy each others company in a friendly competition. The bond is strong in this community. Theres just something about collapsing breathless on the floor, knowing you gave it your absolute all, looking over and seeing your buddy doing the same thing (while questioning if hes still alive). If youre not 100% sure about starting Crossfit just yet, they do offer FREE Saturday classes to get a feel for it. Ill be leaving Salt Lake soon and this place will be missed, but definitely grabbing a workout here when I visit.

I dont normally take time to write reviews but I feel like these guys have done something special. This is the 3rd gym Ive been to in Salt Lake and its the unquestionably the best. I initially made the mistake of choosing another crossfit gym because they offered a "special". They packed me in with a bunch of other new people, the coaching was terrible and I got hurt. I swore off crossfit and went back to my old gym. It wasnt until my friend told me about her experience at SLC crossfit that I decided to give it another try. Wow, what a difference it makes when you have good coaches. I was able to see results immediately and could actually start progressing. Now I love crossfit. These guys made it fun and safe. Seriously, If youre looking in to crossfit, try these guy out.

SLC Crossfit is a great box. The trainers are excellent. They care about your progression and making sure you are preforming the lifts correctly. I have had Brock, Jonas, and Justin as trainers and they are all top notch. Having good trainers is crucial to Crossfit and any type of physical activity when pushing the boundaries. The facility is clean, huge, and very welcoming. They have an online tracking app (Wodify) to help you see your progression and view the WOD the night before. My back squat has increased from 185 lb to 285 lb. I have since attended 235 times in that first year and LOVE it. The fantastic programming and camaraderie is what drives my desire to workout every day. Thanks for the AWESOME box SLC Crossfit!

SLC Crossfit is the best Crossfit facility around. I have been doing Crossfit for several years and didnt think I needed to pay a membership fee to reach the goals I set for myself. I was skeptical at first, but within months at SLC Crossfit I had not only broken the short-term goals I had set, but most of my long-term goals as well. These were goals I had thought I would have to work hard over the course of the year to accomplish, but with the trainers help I was able to do it in only a few short months. If you are serious about being fit and getting strong, and are willing to work as hard as they will push you, SLC Crossfit is worth every penny.

SLC Crossfit is a top class gym with knowledgeable and very personable trainers. I have been a regular member for almost two years and have never had a negative experience. The trainers work you hard, but are very conscience of injuries and very concerned that everyone gets the most of their experience. SLC Crossfit has changed the way I workout and exercise, probably for the rest of my life. Never will I go back to a large gym like 24 Hour Fitness, where no one knows your name and you never interact with anyone. I have made friends who I regularly keep in contact thanks the SLC Crossfit community. I cannot recommend SLC Crossfit highly enough.

I travel for a living so I am fortunate enough to experience an array of CF trainers, boxes and gyms across the country. While I have experienced many different methods and techniques in my travels, I can honestly say it comes down to the coaches and trainers that make an excellent CF Program. The people behind SLCCF put more then just strength and conditioning behind their programing. They put passion, caring and individual attention behind it. Catering to individuals needs and alway being aware of where their athletes are. They have developed an amazing place that caters to all individuals. Make sure you experience the difference.

This gym has a lot of great things going like programming, coaches, and plenty of equipment to support large classes. The reason Im giving them a 3/5 is because there seems to be severe separation between the "elite" crossfitters and just the "regular" people. I personally like to work out in a positive, happy, family-like environment, thats why I chose crossfit in the first place. I never met the owner while a member, and I was never approached or spoke with one of the "elites" because it has more of a competitive environment. Still a great gym however, and especially if youre interested in becoming a competitor and want to work hard!

This is by far the best gym Ive ever been a member of. Not just crossfit gyms, but even better than the large megagyms. The trainers are knowledgable and interact with you on a personal basis each and every time I attend a class. They really do care about my personal goals and help motivate me to achieve them. The other members are super friendly and nice and I have come to know almost all of them by name and consider them close friends. As far as crossfit gyms go, it is much more affordable than most, and with the amount of attention I receive from the trainers, owners, and other members, it is definitely worth every cent.

I can not recommend SLC CrossFit enough. Great space, great layout, awesome and clean equipment, clean bathrooms and showers. Justin runs a tight ship, him and his staff are the best there is. No matter what class or open gym you come to, there is always some one there to help, and someone there to push you to be better. Everyone at this incredible gym has become my family. If youre not at SLC CrossFit, well, youre doing it wrong.

I have been going to SLC Crossfit for a little over two months now. I have had the best experience at this gym. The trainers are friendly and interested in my progress. The people who attend the classes are awesome and encouraging. The equipment is plentiful and well maintained. Its a really fun atmosphere and its turned working out into an addiction for me. I will be a member of this gym for a very long time.

I travel a lot and frequently drop in to the local CF gym when I have time. This is one of the better run, better staffed, and better equipped gyms Ive been to in a while. The layout is great, and they were super accommodating to let me do "open gym" while they had a WOD going on. I would recommend this gym without hesitation. Justin and his crew are A+.

Ive tried a few crossfit gyms in town and this one is the best. The facility is bigger and they have more equipment. The coaches are more knowledgable than anywhere I have experienced and really care about the members. Ive achieved a fitness level that I never thought possible. I cant say enough about what this gym has done for me!
