**Beard trim disaster** If you are growing your beard out, you know how much TIME and waiting around for your beard to get nice and full takes. I only went here based on the reviews, that was a mistake. I read a lot of positive and over all good reviews. But I read a review about the female barber here (Erin), so when i walked in and saw a female barber; I was hoping it was not her. She was the only one that could help me and asked me to come over, I instantly regretted it. The other review was spot on about her lack of people skills. I was hoping it was just a bad experience for someone else and tried to stay positive. Sure enough, she had no people skills, does not follow instructions AND cant follow a picture of what you want for your design. The result, was beyond disappointing.These are all basic skills someone in this profession should have. I went for a beard trim and left with a beard I was no longer proud of. I had several uneven spots in my beard, she totally messed it up and created a bald spot. She also trimmed areas I specifically asked not to have trimmed and took off WAY to much than what I asked for. I went from almost 4 months of growth to what now looks like a month and a half of growth, if that. Hands down worst experience I have ever had. I would have been better off going to a school where they let students practice on beard trims. So disappointed.

I have been going here for years now, all of the barbers are amazing and extremely talented. When youre talking with them its like the barber shops of the old times, you will be in great company and have the best experience you will ever have getting your haircut! Just a friendly tip the secret has gotten out about how amazing this shop is so you might want to schedule your appointment on the website, or if you have time go hang out and get to know everyone then do that, its what I do and have an amazing time ever time! Oh and dont be afraid of Erin (shes the female barber) just because she cant grow a beard doesnt mean she cant make yours look good! She cared for my beard and made it look perfect! Thank you everyone at Gentleman Barber for creating the best barber shop in Utah.

It wasnt busy when we went in but the girl just looked at us like we were stupid. She had zero customer service skills then and even while cutting hair. The guys did an okay job but the girl (Erin) was terrible. Even my 7yr old pointed out she didnt listen to what we wanted. She basically buzzed his head. (I could have done that for free!). Whatever, hair grows fast. It just bothered me that even a teenage boy after us told her he didnt want it short on top but wanted the sides short. She cut it just Luke my sons. Basically a buzz cut. I literally questioned if she had a licence to cut hair. Apparently shes the owners wife. If you go, request someone other than her!

This is now my new favorite barber. Not only did I get the exact haircut I wanted but a beard trim and neck shave all included. On top of that, my 5 year old got his hair cut also and was treated like a prince, reassured every step of the way, questioned about his comfort level and satisfaction with the cut and given a sucker when it was done. Even though we just walked in and it was the day before New Years (and they started the day down 2 barbers), we only had to wait 20 minutes and provided every comfort. I will be returning here with my son every 4 to 6 weeks from here on.

Stood around for about 30 minutes this morning because this shop was not opened. Find this very irritating for the reason I commute out to the barber shop. After reading through some reviews I noticed a pattern of a poor barber at the shop, the same one that my friend unfortunately had to experience.. I highly recommended this place to him, and unlikely he will be a return customer. It is difficult to find good barbers that are consist with hair cuts, which in my opinion three of them are really good barbers. Ill continue my search for another shop

I have been looking for a barber shop for a while now and I was incredibly pleased with my experience at Gentleman Barber. Mitch is a true gentleman and a master of his craft. He made me feel comfortable and explained what he was doing and answered any questions I had with great detail. I truly appreciated it. The atmosphere was very welcoming and pleasant and the prices were extremely fair. Without a doubt, I will continue to visit for my hair cut and beard trimming needs. I highly recommend you give this place a shot yourself.

This is a very nice shop. They have some appointments online for those who prefer that approach and there is always room in the schedule for for walk-ins. With Mitchell, Jeff, and Erin working, as a walk-in, the wait was quite short. Conversation was lively and the focus on the customer was very evident. I got just the haircut I wanted, including a nice straight razor neck trim. I recommend Gentleman Barber.

Mitchell is a true artist. Ive never experienced this level of detail or care from a barber before. He walked me through each step of the cut, frequently asked for my feedback, and made some nice recommendations. Additionally, he made great conversation. The entire staff is very skilled. The old-school approach is alive and well at this shop. Id recommend it to anyone. Ill certainly be going back.

Ive been going to Palmers Gentlemen Barber for about a year and a half now and the choice is simple if you want to feel better about yourself, have a great experience, and top shop level haircut from barbers that care, go here. If you want a quick cut with a guard from someone who only sees you as a dollar sign and time instead of a person then go somewhere else youre probably not welcome anyways.

I have never had a barber shop shave. This was without a doubt the best experience I have ever had when it comes to a shave. The gentleman that gave me the most awesome shave ever was just that, a gentleman. He had an aura about him that just radiated confidence and it was a true joy to experience my very first barber shop shave. Thank you for such a wonderful relaxing and uplifting experience.

Mitch Palmer is the best barber in the valley, if not the state. Very friendly and amiable, plus he does a fantastic job. Everything he does is centered around customer service, from taking your coat off for you and helping you to put it back on when hes done, to the warm thank you and handshake he proffers on your way out the door. You WILL NOT be disappointed with Mitch.

This isnt just the coolest Barber Shop in Sandy, it is the coolest Barber Shop in Utah! No really, like dapper in a suite, Frank Sinatra, type of cool! I not only got the best hair cut I have ever had, I also learned how to shave correctly! (Which is saying something since I am 30) I highly recommend this Barber Shop to anyone with class, character and style!
