THIS GUY IS DISHONEST !! Early March, 2017: I am facing a massive, multi-thousand dollar sewer repair and/or replacement. In order to apply for a home repair loan from Ogden City, I need to submit 3 bids. When I spoke with Jay from Utah Pipe Bursting on the phone, he offered to "get some contacts in the industry" to email in two bids (directly to the city) that would be a few thousand dollars higher than his in order to speed up my loan application process. These bids would be from people who had never talked to me & who had never seen my house. There is no way I will do business with someone who suggests doing something that is dishonest as well as fraudulent. Jays bid guarantees his work for only 2 years. The other sewer repair companies with whom I have spoken guarantee their work from 20-50 years. I had emailed Jay some very reasonable questions requesting clarification of some items in his bid. Jay came to my home uninvited and, in front of my 2 adult sons, declared to me that he would absolutely not work with me if he had to answer questions or explain things to me. Jay could have saved a trip; we had already decided not to hire him because of his dishonesty. This is not a person that I want working in or around my home. I wish there were a way to put NO STARS at all on a review.

We had nothing but problems with this company. They were funded 12/12 with a guarantee to have the sewer line replaced by 1/9. Well thanks to lack of communication on their part and no call no shows, the line was never replaced until 2/6. Now we are sitting waiting for the dirt to be removed and our neighbors driveway to be patched that they dug up to get to our line and promised theyd fix. I would not even recommend these people to my worst enemy. They have to worst customer service skills all around.

Im in the process of purchasing an older home and asked Jay to go take a look at the piping to ensure everything looked good. They answered all three of my phone calls, answered all of my questions, and were able to get out to my property within 24 hours! Jay and Mark are both awesome to work with and I recommend them to anyone looking for a service within their scope.
