My wife and I recently moved in to our new house in Kaysville, UT. There was a main line blockage and our home warranty recruited Drain Tech to come clear the blockage. While the technician had the main floor toilet pulled, he flushed the basement toilet and sewage began coming up and out of the main floor toilet drain. Eventually his manager determined that I had a sewage pump (not to be confused with a sump pump) in the house and that is what caused the backup. The sewer water ruined flooring/trim on the main floor as well as damaged our finished basement. The manager and owner of Drain Tech are refusing to cover damages because I shouldve somehow known that there was a sewage pump in the house and warned the technician. If I had known enough about sewage systems to know there was a sewer pump, I wouldnt have needed to call a professional to clear my main line blockage. My personal home insurance estimated the damage to be over $9000 and is in the process of subrogating the cost back to Drain Techs insurance.

I called after 8 pm on a Sunday. I had water coming up in my tub and my toilet would not flush. The women on the phone was very nice and explained pricing. The technician was here within an hour. He explained to me that my my main line was clogged. He got on my roof and was able to clear it from there. He didnt even have to come in my house. No mess! I was so happy for that. He showed me roots that are growing in my pipes. He added a root killer and put me on a 6 month preventative so they will clean the pipe and kill the roots so I never have to worry about flood damage. We also used a camera to inspect for any damages to pipes. I didnt even know this was possible. The tech was very knowledgeable and super nice even though it was dark on a Sunday night. Now I can sleep soundly knowing I have a company I can trust best of all the price they quoted me was what I paid. Thanks drain tech. Youve gained a faithful customer

We had them out because we had gurgling in our sink, and overflowing in our utility room. They came out, charged us $153 (they DO have a military discount, which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1), and supposedly fixed the problem. Now its two weeks later, and we have more gurgling and overflowing, and they refuse to come back out to see whats going on without charging us AGAIN. For something we already paid to fix. Maybe its a misunderstanding, because from the reviews I would have thought theyd at least come back out to see if there was something they missed last time.

I called Drain Tech for a phone quote for a backed up bathroom (Neither the sink nor Shower were draining). I was able to speak to somebody over the phone and detail the problem to get a quote. I was very hesitant about getting a huge bill so I was sure to provide a lot of detail about my problem to get an accurate quote. A technician made it out to my home that afternoon and was able to unclog my drains. While my problem seemed to be simple, I appreciated the speed and attention the technician provided. I will be using them again!

I had a late night emergency with a backed up toilet. I tried everything to get it unclogged. I gave Drain Tech a call late Friday night and a gentleman named Eli came right out immediately and saved my night. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them. After one Plumber snaked the line and was unable to unclog it after our basement flooded, Draintech responded with very little notice late in the day and worked extra hard on a difficult main line to finally unclog it! the line was 250 feet long! Super impressed and thankful! Should definitely be the first people you call!
