We are a Granite Countertop company and we were looking for a good plumber that we could refer to our customers. We called Mike Bauchman Plumbing. When they answered the phone they asked "How can we make you smile?" Ugggg throw up! That should have been a red flag. Anyway I spoke to Mike and let him know that I was looking for a plumber that I could refer to my customers and asked him what kind of pricing he would give me for my customers. He told me that he would charge $80.00 an hour and that they would be fast, clean, and all parts were available on their truck. He also stated that he was licenced and insured and that his team was the best in the business. I sure wish that I would have read these reviews befor I recommended this company to my customers. When I stopped by my customers home to see how everything went I was shocked to hear that the best installer Mike had sent was so rude and degrating to my customer. She continued to tell me that they spilt water all over her hard wood floors etc. and telling her that they did not like the sink or faucet she had chosen. This is her home and these are the items she had choosen because she loved the look of them. What right do they have to tell someone that what they have choosen is ugly? That is terrable and unprofessional! Then they broke the parts in her sink and added it to her bill. So she had to pay for their mistake! Plus they charged her $88.00 per hour instead of the $80.00 they had promised me. They left a awful mess inside her very nice cabinet. The bill that was originally around $300.00 ended up being over $500.00! When my customer called Mike to tell him about her concerns, he stopped her from talking and said "How can we make you smile?" So she began to try to expalin the issues she was having and he would not listen and kept talking over her and told her that she was ungreatfull because he gave her such a good deal. Are you kidding me? How does this man stay in business? We value our customers and pride ourselves in good customer service and always making things right with them. We want our customers to walk away happy and feel that they got a good fair job. We will never recommend Mike Bauchman Plumbing to any more of our customers as it was an embarressment to our business. If you want a good plumber dont call these guys, you will just get ripped off and left with a mess!

We had a broken water line over the summer of 2008. It wasnt covered by our homeowners insurance as they didnt deem it "sudden." We went with this place because they gave us the best estimate. They said it would be $3000 for the whole job (re-routing the line, as it was broken under our driveway), and $2000 if we wanted to dig the line ourselves. We figured it was worth the $1000 (that we didnt have)! When they were done with the job, they didnt put all the dirt back in our $1000 hole (left a big pile on our park strip), nor did they save the grass to place back on top. This was something I kind of expected. They just SET our sprinkler line in a PILE by the house, rather than replacing it under the ground. We called and they DID send a guy out to fix that. Then, when we tried to run the sprinklers we found that they had punctured the lines all over. Once again, we called and a guy came out to "fix it" - though he placed a few of the heads way down to low and I still wonder if some of them are leaking. They tracked dirt and mud all over, down the stairs and in our basement. Yeah, it was just a basement but I still dont want mud all over it! Do you have to pay extra for the "red carpet service" they advertise? They STOLE our shovel. We tried to call about that one and they asked "was your name on it?" No, Im afraid our name was NOT on it because we are not 5 year olds sharing our toys! And last, but not least, they never sealed the hole that they put the new line into, so in the first heavy rain the following fall we had water POURING into our basement! This place is TERRIBLE. I will never do business with them again, no matter how cheaper they are!

I have read a couple of these reviews and mine is much much different! I have a rental property that was loosing alot of water and we thought we had a broken pipe underground because there was no water in the house or outside. We shut our water off expecting the worst. Mike gave us an estimate and told us what was involved in finding this broken pipe. Mike called me this morning and said he was thinking about this last night and it just didnt add up and he wanted to check some other things to make certain that he wasnt dong un-necessary work. Mike drove from my rental property in south ogden to north ogden to my home to get the keys and drove back. He turned the water back on and found that two toilets were running 24/7. Easy fix! This is a company that goes the extra mile to take care of customers. I thought he went way beyond. All in all in future this is the only plumbing company we will ever use because I can trust them and when it comes down to it they care. I usually dont write reviews but in this case I had to share my experience. This is a hands on company that is simply Amazing! -Kristy

I have been a dedicated customer since my first home over ten years ago. While I have most commonly been helped by Vic Bachman, who is awesome, we have also had others out for issues and they are all wonderful. I know that no matter my issue, I am treated with respect and confident that the quality of the service and equipment are above par. The guarantees they offer on not only on their repairs but also on their equipment also help me feel confident they too use and trust what they are using for my home. I am happy with the cost, knowing that they really care about the integrity of their product. Are they the cheapest? no, but if thats what you really want, you will probobaly get what you pay for somewhere else. I dont write many reviews, if ever, but Vic, via Mike Bachman Plumbing has come to my rescue yet again today, after hours, cheerful, competent and ready. Thank you so much!!

Simple statement to start; I have had great experiences with Mike Bachman plumbing! I came home on a Saturday night to find my sunken living room had been transformed into a swimming pool. I made the efforts to try to find and correct the issue myself, with no luck. I called Mike Bachman plumbing on a Sunday morning and to my surprise I did to get an answering machine, I talked to a real person. Chad was dispatched and arrived at my house an hour later. He listened to what we had already tried and immediately went to work on identifying and correcting the issue. The repair was reasonably priced and done rapidly and very much to my satisfaction. I have used Mike Bachman plumbing a number of times since and will continue using them for all my plumbing needs.
