On April 15, 2017 Rafael and Mike showed up on time ready to work. They arrived with a new ac, a stand, some 4x4, 2x4, 1x4 and 1 section of duck work, along with some minor miscellaneous stuff. The duck work Ill call a coupling, it was to connect to the existing 90 coming up out of my house duck work. First they are just inexperienced in the over all realm of construction, but they can learn because experience is the best teacher, Its call "FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT" To the which I am still faking it in many areas but in some I have made it, 39 years. First, as the two were trying to cut a 2x4 with a saw-zaw, holding the short end, while the long end was digging into my foam roof, noticing their error about 3/4 of an inch into the roof they stopped, as they progressed to the 4x4, I offered them the correct tools to cut with, they said, no thank you. As they are connecting the coupling to the 90, I asked, what is going to be done about all the old torn cruddy insulation that is falling off in the 90? He said, nothing, I said, WHAT! All that mess is going to be blown through out my house at start up and throughout time! Look at the pic, crud might not be the best word, maybe bad, terrible, you look at pic and D&N tell me what you think. How about it being Asbestos??? I suggested, if you are not going to replace the 90, at least you should bring some new duck insulation, that you can cut and glue to the duck after you remove the old stuff, WHAT DO YOU THINK? When measuring to cut the stand Rafael cut one side to short, thats why they say measure twice cut one, yet for me its measure thrice and its still wrong. As you can see in the pic, this is why he needed 18/20 inches of 2x4 to place under the 4x4. I told him I did not like it but he can leave it because Ill get it corrected when I talk to his boss. The crane pulls up and he says, how about I cut 1 1/2 inch off the other side and put a 2x4 on top of the 4x4 and I said, I would like that, so he did and it looks better, just the 4x4 would have been proper, yet this is fine with me. As the AC was placed on the stand, as you can see from the pic, one corner was about 3/4 to an inch from the coupling, the AC was level. I asked, what was he going to do, he said, when he screws it, it will suck it closed, I said, not tomorrow or the day after or even next week but eventually through the vibration of the AC it will work itself back to its proper/normal position. Im not sure but maybe that corner of the coupling needed to come out another inch. When placing the AC on the stand they put 4, some where around 3 inch rubber pads for the AC to sit on, I assume for vibration purposes, yet on the corner with the compressor they doubled it. My thought is to double the other end to which, I believe would take the pressure of the coupling and 90 seam, keeping it from eventually separating from each other, you can see from the pic just what it looked like the next day. Another thought is, when you removed my old duck work that was connected to the AC it was spray foamed to keep it cooler, I think you should put it back just as it was, foaming over the new duck, WHAT DO YOU THINK? I did dot receive any of the paper work that was inside the unit that went with the ac. I asked when speaking to the office about the tech who is scheduled to check the install, that he might bring the paper work, we will see. All this is in no way a reflection on Rafael or Mike but of those who put them in this position. Also, they never used foul language around me and I appreciate companies/people who are professional in their language and conduct! I am a building maintenance supervisor at a high end animal hospital and I am daily helping people out with their English language. Mike Tufegdzic told me that Trane is picky about who does their installs, having to do with the quality of work! My Corvette is a show car, so I thought Id show it off! Thank You Ty John3:36

Received a special offer from Angies List for $39 service call for plumbing needs PLUS $39 off for service repair. $39 service call was paid when booking on-line. Great. Service need was a change of a showerhead and mixit water control know for same shower. We had necessary supplies here, as well as well as mixit cartridge in case it needed. Had also asked, when scheduling, for replacement of flushing mechanism in toilet tank ( less than $25 at Home Depot). After brief inspection of work requested Mike said hed have to go out to his vehicle and figure out the cost. Upon reentering my home he said it would be $281. I asked if that was after subtracting the $39 for the repairs. He then told me I had paid the $39 for the service call when I booked through Angie s List. I then said but the deal also included $39 for the service provided for a total of $78 savings, so the second $39 should be subtracted from the balance. I opened up the email and deal from Angies List which quite clearly outlined the deal. Before I finished, he left the home and said his manager was calling me. Jason called, at which time he verified my understanding of the deal....a total of $78, of which $39 had already been paid. At that moment, Mike started insisting that wasnt what I was saying, but I was wanting an additional $39 of the bill today. Untrue!! I was quite clear in what I was saying to him. He may not have understood me all three times, but my understanding of the deal was accurate and unwavering. He essentially called me a liar. I then told him to leave and that I could get a handyman to do the job for about 1/3 that price. He raised his voice to my sister as he said he was a plumber not a handyman. No kidding. He was condescending and insisted he was right. I would only give Mike 1/2 of a star if I could. ........for showing up on time. I was insulted, called a liar, and thought I was stupid enough to think I was getting a deal?. I will never ever use this company and have already mailed a letter to Angies List home office. Mike acted like acted true millennial. .....always right, couldnt possibly have misunderstood me. When it comes to customer service. .....He failed miserably.

Our 1997 A/C unit went out just at the end of summer when the highs were only getting to just over 100. We fixed our unit last year when it went out, so we decided it was time to replace the unit all together. Consulting/Quotes: We received three quotes from the three major A/C companies in the Valley, and Day & Night were by far the best to work with. Our Comfort Consultant, Mike, was terrific in his job. He was calm, polite, no-pressure kind of demeanor, and really put us at ease to make a decision. He didnt try to oversell his company, their service or their products, but simply put what they could provide and all that would be included, with no catches or gimmicks. Mike truly went above and beyond with his quality of service and completed slayed the consulting process. Installation: Holy cow were they johnny on the spot! They were supposed to start at 8am on a Friday morning, but instead started 30 minutes early!! All of the installation technicians (Josh, Aaron and Willy) were kind and dressed nicely in a Day & Night outfit. They worked well as a team and we even heard one say to another, "If its just good enough, its not good enough. It has to be fantastic". The team was super efficient and the crane that came out to remove/replace the A/C unit took 15mins, it was here and gone within 30mins! The new thermostat was set up and ensured proper operation and the crew took care of our home throughout the install. Overall, I am thus far super happy with our choice to go with Day & Night and I would highly recommend using their service. They also offer a referral program, so if youre in the market and can spare a message, message me directly so we can both get a referral bonus!
