I am only in town for a few weeks and really needed a new haircut. Since I was unfamiliar with the area, I relied solely on online reviews of local hair salons. Im so glad that I read the reviews of the Chop Shop and made an appointment. This place was wonderful. The space is open and comfortable with beautiful local art on the walls. The staff were VERY friendly and extremely helpful. My hair stylist was Dawn. I brought in photos of hairstyles that I admired and asked her for her opinion on what would work with my hair type. She gave her professional opinion and also asked more questions of what I was looking for, so that together we came up with an idea that combined the styles I liked and what she knew would work best with my curly, sometimes frizzy hair. I felt that she really took the time to make sure she knew what I wanted before she started cutting. She did an excellent job, it was the best haircut Ive ever had. I cant say enough about how easy and comfortable the experience was and how pleased I am with the professionalism and the quality of work at the Chop Shop. I give it the highest recommendations!

I recently moved up to Burlington and needed to get my hair cut. Ive gone to the same salon for my whole life in my hometown so I felt a little uncomfortable going to someone new. I saw that Chop Shop had excellent reviews online so I decided to give them a chance. All the other reviews are true! They gave me the best haircut Ive ever had!! For $25 too! (Im a guy) I definitely recommend this place. Everyone is friendly and passionate about their professions.

Similar tale to DB- in town for the summer, needed a new haircut, saw good online reviews of Chop Shop. I had an appointment with Kaitlyn, who specializes in curly hair, which was perfect for me. She was really nice, cut it just as I wanted it- I came in with pictures of what I liked, asked her opinion, and she agreed that it would work well for my hair. My total came to $40, which was more than I expected, but it was worth it!

This place was extraordinary and would recommend this place to anybody. The staff are all very polite and go out of their way to make sure you get the hair cut you desire. I went in not knowing how describe how I wanted my hair as I havent had a barber I was comfortable with in years. I will most definitely be returning in the near future and I plan on recommending them to all of my friends.

I have been to many hair salons, but not no one gets what I want better than Sunnie at the chop shop! All of the staff there is very creative and I highly recommend any of them to anyone looking for a great style. The salon itself is very big and comfortable. They also have a great line of products to offer customers! Love the chop shop and highly recommend it to everyone!!!

I also was a regular at Bimini Bills and I agree that it has gone downhill. Glenn now owns the Chop Shop and I will now be a regular customer there. The atmosphere is spacious and relaxing and the stylists are top notch. Highly recommended!!

I definitely took the staff out of their comfort zone by requesting barber services at their salon. They were professional and remained courteous and friendly. They were a bit expensive but definitely worth the whole experience.

1st time customer and I was very impressed with Alisha. I have hard hair to cut and she did a fabulous job. Great atmosphere. And super friendly staff. The straight razor shave & hott towel is fantastic way to finish.

Received the worst hair cut Ive ever had. The style/cut is not what I wanted. It looks like a rush job, my hair is uneven though out, looks like my hairs been bushwhacked, literally!
