Description Of Work: We asked them to provide an estimate for stripping the front of our row house, and painting the large surface areas (no trim) for both the front and back. When we saw how great of a job they did stripping the paint off, we asked to tweak the contract and leave the front exposed but paint the accents and trim. Member Comments: Bottom line up front: we couldnt be happier with Williams Professional Painting, and we look forward to using them in the future! After our general contractor proved substandard in his painting abilities, we asked for an estimate from several A-rated Angies List companies. Rick Williams came out for the estimate, and was extremely thorough - explaining to us various options and making sure that he was clear on our expectations and desires. He let our goals drive the conversation and estimate, and perfectly struck the balance between providing leadership based on experience and keeping our desires front and center. Initially we were going to have them remove the existing paint from the front of our brick home, and then prime/paint both the back and front. In between this process we had masons come out and restore the mortar between the bricks (was over 100 years old and needed to be fixed). Due to the cost of the brickwork needed, we tweaked the paint estimate to just have work done on the front. The work took place in three stages: 1) Paint removal 2) Have our masons tuck point all the brick 3) Have the brick repainted. WPP did such an outstanding job removing the paint, we ended up deciding not to paint back over the brick. Keep in mind that in the pictures below, the chemical stripper did not work so everything was hand-scraped! It took an extra day to strip everything, and the stripping was done on an hourly basis. That said, Rick took the initiative to offer a reduced rate for the unexpected third day, and this is just one of many examples of their stellar customer service. We really appreciated their evident desire on professionalism and quality. During the course of the work, both our neighbors asked for their contact information, and we even had a real estate agent and developer stop by and ask for their info as well. Last but not least, with such a stellar paint-removal job, we asked to tweak the contract once again and Rick was accommodating as ever. Instead of painting the main surface area and leaving the trim, we reversed it. Ill part with one final shout-out on behalf of our foreman Jose G. - he was the most competent, plain-spoken, trustworthy, and friendly foreman we have yet encountered in our dealings with several contractors. And weve had many great contractors and foremen. WPP should truly consider him a prized employee and developing leader in their company! Thank you Rick, Jose, and team!

So Im hopping on the computer and taking time out of a busy day to write this review...and painters Cristian Reyes and Santos Benitez are still packing up their supplies in my driveway! That is how enthusiastic I am about the fine job that Williams did at our house. Cristian, the foreman, and Santos, his assistant, spent over a week here painting the interior of our new townhouse from top to bottom. They came highly recommended from a respected member of our community - and she was spot on about the quality of the work of this company. From the first visit from Rick Williams, they do top quality work. We recently moved to the area and I was stumped at which painting company to choose. The first contractor I hired sent out a rookie painter who painted a few rooms for us- all not so well. They used cheap contractor paint - and that DOES make a difference. Its all scuffed up now, and was just done in September. He played his radio, talked on the phone, broke a lighting fixture, and left a mess. So I was very nervous about letting anyone else in to my home. I was dreading it. Painting can be very disruptive to family routines, too, as we learned when the rookie was here. But the difference between that experience, and the one we had with Williams Painting, was like night and day. Cristain and Santos were on time every single day. They were neat, clean, and worked in a respectful manner. They treated our home as a home...not a construction site. Cristian made every effort to let us know when he would be finished in each room, what the plan was for the next day, and when they were diverted to another job for a day or two, a representative from the company called us to make sure we were in the loop -- not wondering why our painters did not show up. Everything was painted just perfectly. Cristian has excellent drywall skills as well, so he took care of every nail pop and seam showing in the drywall that he found. And the clean up? They did it all off site. NO paint in our landscaping, no using our hoses. Fantastic! We found it to be so refreshing to work with people who take such pride in their work, and have such a great sense of customer service. Rick was easy to keep in touch with and very accommodating when plans changed for one particular area of our home. I cant say enough about these guys. We have a few more projects to do around the house and we will look forward to getting them done - not dread them - because we know that this company will take good care of us. I would recommend them to anyone who cares about quality and getting things right the FIRST time. Thanks for a fantastic job- everything looks fabulous!

Williams Professional Painting soundproofed a room in my condo by installing a layer of Quietrock over existing drywall. My goal was to soundproof against surrounding sounds coming from any of the neighbors. With the soundproofing work done by Williams Professional Painting, this goal has been attained. Abel, Rene, and Nestor were the team that installed the walls, and Rick (the business owner) and Jose oversaw the project. The team were consummate professionals. They have a lot of experience with installing Quietrock EZ-Snap and Green Glue. This type of drywall install is intensive work that requires specific skill and experience; for example, Green Glue cures fast after application, so walls with Green Glue need to be put up right after glue application. Abel and team knew all the details and did everything perfectly, including not only the Quietrock EZ-Snap and Green Glue install, but also extensively sealing all seams with acoustical caulk (Green Glue Noiseproofing Sealant was used for this), extending the electrical/cable/phone outlets and switches and adding Quietputty around them, putting back floor trim perfectly, and adding door trims (which Abel and team made) around room closet doors to match new wall thickness. At the end, they painted the room and the ceiling. They did a great job, engineering-wise (the soundproofing works great), and aesthetically (the walls, corners, ceiling, outlets, etc. look perfect, you wouldnt guess that a second layer has been added over the original). The painting job was also great. In addition, they finished in the timeframe initially agreed upon, and were attentive and responsive (to my many questions) throughout the project. Their work produced minimal amount of dust (they are pros at cutting & handling drywall). They also left the place very clean. In conclusion, a great experience.

I have been thrilled with my entire experience with Williams Professional Painting. The website is easy to negotiate, the phone number and email produce immediate results and they worked with my schedule. Milton Chavez came out for an estimate and he has kind, helpful and efficient. The very next day, Franklin and Carlos showed up. They did a wonderful job. The place looks great and it is so clean. They also put everything back where they found it and even retrieved a couple of "lost" toys that were hiding behind big pieces of furniture. They worked very efficiently, but also thoroughly, and then they walked me through the whole job afterwards. They did a living room that opens to a kitchen and a hallway - all were painted one color - and they also did chair rails, molding and doors. It looks just wonderful. They also took old paint with them that I know longer need. I am so pleased and I will both recommend them to others and use them myself for future jobs.
