I moved out this way about 3 years ago and just happened to be in the need of new brakes when I drove past the shop and decided to turn around. Best decision I made! And although I havent really gotten to know the mechanics well, they do a great job. Ive gone there for tires, for inspections, for brakes, and if anything else goes awry Ill be going to Jenkins for that too. The light skinned guy at the register makes waiting fun. Hes always up for conversation and keeps the lobby quite lively. Thank you Jenkins for making getting car work done not so terrible.

Been coming here for 6+ years. Great place. Extremely friendly staff. Today I came in to get 5 tires Mounted and Balanced. The place was very busy. A lot of cars getting worked on. Took them about 3hrs to complete my job. There were a couple of issues that slowed down progress but that was on my part. I am very pleased with the job, the amount of time it took, and the price!. I will definitely go back for future work and will also recommend them. 100% Satisfied Customer. Keep up the good work!

My step dad needed a new exhaust. I recommended my mom to call Jenkins to get a price estimate for him. They told her that Menike could do it for half the price and to take it there. Maybe we werent looking for the cheapest price. Maybe we just prefer to go to certain shops and dont mind paying a little more for quality work. Why the hell would any business suggest to go somewhere else for a cheaper price? That goes to show that whoever that person was really is there to back up the company.

This is my 3rd vehicle I have trusted them with. I like the fact that because I am a woman they do not try to rip me off. I have gone to another place here in town and payed almost triple what Jenkins charge. They always check my car and not only tell me what is wrong they will show me what is wrong then explain what they can do to fix it. Much to my surprise with fixing my car, labor and whatever else they base my bill on it has always been less than what I was expecting.

Been there multiple times for inspections, and they are always honest with me when I ask what HAS to be fixed and what can wait. Theyre also friendly and easy to talk to. Labor rate is also fairly reasonable. I was hesitant to go back after some of the negative reviews I was reading but I cant say Ive ever found any evidence of work not being done, and Ive checked. (You should be changing your own oil, anyway. HA!)

Not upfront with their pricing. If you dont get repairs done with them they then retroactively charge you diagnostic fees. I would have been OK with that had they been upfront about it. I asked them to rotate the tires (which I paid for) they didnt and I paid for an inspection and they didnt change the sticker. They have lost a long time customer that said good things about them to every one I knew.

Ive had really good experiences here. Theyve fixed our car multiple times and Ive found them to be very honest. There were times where they easily could have told us the problem was more expensive/involved and didnt. We once got a quote for about $600 based on us telling them what we thought the problem was, and ended up with a bill of about $100 because the problem was not that involved.

Top notch service, they let you know whats wrong before they do the work and they give you an estimate of how much it will be. Sometimes it comes in lower then the estimate. They are always busy but for good reason, they dont rip you off and their techs know what they are doing. Dont bother with anywhere else.

One of the better shops in Charlottesville. They are the only shop I trust with my 2 cars. They always let me know how much the cost is ahead of time and keep an eye out for problems you may not know you have. Great service by experienced technicians will keep you coming back. It does me....

Ive been using this repair shop since 2005, and have never had an issue with them. I drive an old beater, too, so its not like I dont ever have problems with it. (I use the Jiffy Lube next door for oil changes, and Jenkins for pretty much everything else.)

The interior roof of my new car was COVERED in grease. It is if the workers intentionally wiped their hands all over it. I am furious. I will go back, but only to collect the money to have them clean or replace the interior.

Real mechanics diagnose problems, not replace parts until they find the right one. Thats part of the reason they no longer have the Ride Rite contract
