The only reason this place gets a star is BC I have to fill one in for a review. We had a simple issue of needing a censor in the steering column reset and the car inspected. My husband spoke on the phone to the technician who said it wouldnt be a problem and to bring it in. The first time we took it in we were told it would be an hour and they would call us when it was ready. Wonderful! We took my husbands car and 2 babies shopping and to get lunch. After 3 hours we heard nothing and decided to go check. The car was off to the side and had obviously been worked on. My husband went to go pay and the man stood on the phone for more than 20 min while my husband waited just to get our keys back. When he got off the phone the other technician then took his sweet time just to tell my husband that the man he spoke to on the phone earlier wasnt there and they needed both of them to fix it so could we bring it back the next day..seriously??! All the while im waiting in the other car trying to keep 2 babies entertained. No call, nothing but a day wasted. My husband still took it back the next day only to wait an hour in the office to be told by the technician that he didnt know what the other tech had told him but he wasnt going to fix it. Just flat out refused service! All in all, it was over 5 hours wasted with these people who wouldnt know service if it bit them in the behind. Piss poor service/quality. If you dont want a complete waste of time and to lose your sanity, avoid this poor excuse of a business at all costs!

Completely unprofessional is the only description that comes to mind when thinking about this place. I needed to get my car inspected; over the phone they told me it was a slow day and that if I went there right away I could get it done in 30 minutes. I get there in a few minutes, and they tell me its gonna be 60 minutes. After 60 minutes they tell me its gonna be 90. TWO HOURS later I go check in again, and they tell me they havent started yet. They also tell me "Oh yeah, its been a while" but they dont even bother trying to make up for it in any way. I completely wasted TWO HOURS of my time and I didnt even get the job done. On top of that, they didnt even apologize nor try to make up for it in any way. Its completely unacceptable to treat customer like this. I wish I could give this place 0 stars.

Ive been in this location 4-5 times over the past month getting a bunch of work done, they have been GREAT. Fair prices, great customer service, quick turn times. No issues with any of the work done. Thanks! Ive worked with Sean every time Ive been in and his professionalism has been a breath of fresh air compared to many of my experiences elsewhere. They have very quickly become my only stop. Recommending them to all of my friends and family!

This Meineke location has always gone above and beyond to help me out. The customer service staff is very nice and helpful, and they are good about discussing alternative solutions with me. The best measure, however, is that the one time something went wrong (which was partly my fault too) they immediately did everything to see my car right away, and make it right, no questions and no blame. They have earned my repeat business for sure!!

I have tried several service centers in town, but keep coming back to this Meineke because they are straightforward, dont try to sell unnecessary services, charge a fair price and have a professional staff. From putting a muffler on my 71 MGB, tune-up of my wifes mini-van, to general service on my F-250 diesel - in 10 years I have only had positive experiences at this Meineke and now go there for all normal services.

When I relocated to Charlottesville I carried my vehicles to this location all of the time. After moving out to the lake it just wasnt convenient anymore and I bounced around from place to place, Never really happy anywhere. I finally took my car back to Meineke and wondered why I ever stopped! No matter how far out of the way, I will always make it a point to take my car back to Meineke from here on out.

Came in for an oil change and some tune ups this winter, staff were great. Found a small drip under the car over the following month and came back in. They replaced the culprit oil filter under warranty before I even asked whether it was covered. Nobody is ever happy to end up in the shop but in my experience (and my friends) these guys are honest and capable.

My daughter had a flat tire passing through Charlottesville. They went out of their way to help her. She was able to get new tires and get back on the road even though it was close to closing time on Saturday. I was able to handle transaction with a CC over the phone from a distance. Price was reasonable - what I would pay locally. Thanks guys.

I have worked with this great group of men for the last ten years. They are honest and know there business. Very busy shop, but always have taken the time to get things right. They work on my Porsche 911 and BMW 328ixt and if they dont feel comfortable doing something they tell me to go to the dealer.

Love these guys. They do a quality job and dont do unnecessary work. I am a young woman, and theyve never tried to take advantage of me. My car has passed inspection 6 out of 7 times with them. Once when they felt they had made me wait too long in the waiting room, they comped part of my service.

The service is good, and they dont try to take advantage of you because you are a woman. Some places I would not take my car to because they take advantage of women, they pretend that big high priced things are wrong with your car to get more money out of you.

Called to get a quote on making brake lines for me so I can do the job myself. Did not want to even give a quote since they were not getting the whole job of removal and install. Spoke to two people there who were rude and did not want to be helpful at all.

We took our vehicle in to get the brake pads replaced. We were prepared for over $300 in parts and labor. We were told that we did not need pads and that the issue was simple and inexpensive. The most honest and fair business practices I have ever seen!
